ANYU Hotel - Lijiang old Town

Such a gem of a hotel!! From arrival to check out, the service has been amazing. The staff was so kind and receptive of any of our requests or concerns. The breakfast and afternoon tea that came with our reservation was phenomenal. Additionally, there are free snacks and drinks. I was obsessed with their mango milkshake and watermelon juice. Now onto the room, it was so nice and cozy. The pillows and blankets were so soft that I slept so soundly. I love that they provide le labo toiletries so we ended up smelling so good. Just so happy with our stay wishes we could’ve stayed longer!

Beautiful hotel in every aspect! Great design, beautiful touches, especially in the common areas, photos don't do it justice. Room was small but very tastefully furnished, nice Santal toiletries, lots of sun protection amenities, even sunglasses, strange but amusing:). We were afraid that there might be some street noise but we were lucky, hardly any noise. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, it's like Japanese kaiseki but Lijiang style, worth staying here for breakfast alone! Afternoon tea was also nice and there are small snacks available all day in the restaurant. We had good night drinks, red wine or milk - we send a message message via WeChat when we got back to the room and they delivered it promptly. Location is great very close to the Sough Gate, nicest part of Lijiang, behind Indigo Hotel, so when getting a transport just go in front of Indigo. Staff was very helpful, they gave us nice recommendations and we received a small gift too (large tote bag). I can't fault this hotel, definitely recommended.

A perfect place to stay. Traditional hotel in the middle of the old town. Huge rooms in traditional outfits . Staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast (Asian and Western) was amazing in terms of taste and variety. For sure a place to come back!

Loved my stay at ANYU Hotel in Lijiang! Honestly, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in China. The place is so cool—it's a beautiful old historical building with tons of traditional charm. You get the feeling of old-world Lijiang but with all the modern comfort you need. The staff were the best. So friendly and went above and beyond. For example, we had to head out for an early morning tour, and when we mentioned it, the hotel prepared a takeaway breakfast for us to grab on our way out. It was such a thoughtful touch and really shows how much they care. Speaking of food, the normal breakfast is fantastic too—loads of yummy local options and hotel also server great afternoon tea. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the historic feel even better. Just a perfect, peaceful spot to come back to after exploring. Can't recommend ANYU enough. If you're coming to Lijiang, stay here! You won't regret it.

Service was impeccable. They performed great attention to details, and went extra miles to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. We had to leave hotel early one of the days and they packed wholesome breakfast for us before day break. I would revisit Lijiang just for the hotel.

Highly recommend this hotel! What made the experience so memorable was the people. Every single staff member, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their warmth and attentiveness felt genuine, never forced, and you could really sense that they enjoy what they do and take pride in the hotel. That positive energy made such a difference and elevated the entire stay. It’s rare to come across hospitality that feels this personal and sincere. Highly recommend, and I would gladly return again.

Stayed for three nights. The staff were super attentive and the hotel decor had a ton of character. Best hotel I stayed at during my trip to China!
