the location of the hotel is excellent. is right smack in the middle of all the good restaurants and shops. rooms were so beautiful and nicely done. they have all the amenities from rose tea to fruits basket to daily bottle water. breakfast is simple and nice. we came in a group of 8 and all of us have a different type of room. every room have a clothes hanging rack outside the room for us to dry our clothes after washing it at the hotel. they let us use their washer for free. what make this place great is the owner and all their staff. they waited for us at one of the main gate to help carry our luggages to the hotel. they help us make reservation for restaurant and live music house. everyday he will ask us do we need anything or any help from him. the morning we have a day tour, he prepared bun and milk for us to bring along. this place make you feel like home and lijiang is so beautiful.

Love every part of this homestay! Staff are friendly and great, room is small but comfy. They even helped with luggage so you won’t have to pull/drag. It’s located in an old town so it’s super convenient!

One of the best hotel we've been in China. The amenities are worldclass and the hospitality is top notch, not to mention, the room is very spacious and artsy. The perfect location Just 1 min away from the center of Lijiang ancient city. The owner are very helpful and take care of us during our stay. They even help us with culinary recommendation.

To those planning a trip to Lijiang, I highly recommend this guesthouse. I looked through many reviews of accommodations in Lijiang Old Town, but none compared to this one. The price was also very reasonable, and my friends loved it. The interior and garden of the guesthouse are absolutely beautiful. They provide breakfast, fruits, tea, and water, which was very thoughtful. Amenities were well-prepared, towels and bedding were clean, and housekeeping was excellent. The location is near Mu Residence, making it easy to get around. Although it’s close to the main area, it’s tucked in a quiet alley, so you can rest peacefully. The staff, manager, and owner were incredibly kind and hospitable. The staff even gave us baijiu (Chinese liquor) and snacks twice, and we had so much fun. The manager took us to a tea shop, helped us sample and choose pu’er tea. The owner is very knowledgeable about tea—he’s been in the tea business for a long time and always offered us tea when we wanted to drink some. The room was well soundproofed—we never heard any noise from neighbors or upstairs during our stay. The restaurant was clean and a nice place to relax in the evening. They helped us book a handcart for check-in and check-out, making it easy to move our luggage. They even arranged a car from the airport to the Old Town at a cheaper price than a taxi. To the owner: Hi, this is LiLi! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality during my stay. I had such wonderful memories in Lijiang thanks to you. Next time I visit, I’ll stop ordering takeout—I’d love to cook and hang out with you instead. Take care, BOSS!

I would highly recommend this place to all travellers. First, the location is strategic located only 6mins walking from the entrance and easy access to all attractions in the ancient city especially 木府。 Secondly, the place is huge and only comes with 15 rooms which make it good privacy for everyone. The common area is nicely renovated. Lastly, the room is superb and clean. The space in the room is so big and nicely renovated. My wife and i enjoyed so much.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Meiluolanting in Lijiang was absolutely fantastic! We arrived without any prior tour bookings, but the innkeeper was incredibly patient and helpful. Despite the language barrier, he took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the area, including how to reach scenic spots and even arranged our transportation. Every day, after long outings, we were welcomed back with delightful Lijiang black tea and pu’er tea, which was a lovely touch. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town, making it easy to explore numerous souvenir shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Our room was impeccably clean, and daily housekeeping ensured our comfort. We enjoyed a private balcony with stunning views of the ancient city and the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain in the distance. The overall ambiance of the hotel provided a superb "zen" vibe that enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang Old Town. You won't be disappointed!
