‌CafeCoco Designer Hotel @ Peter Goullart's, Lijiang (Waterwheel)

The hotel has a very convenient location near the ancient town, which made sightseeing and walking around easy. Cleanliness was acceptable, and the general atmosphere of the property seemed fine at first. However, we faced multiple issues with our loft suite that affected our stay: • The bidet/butt wash was not functioning, and on top of that, the toilet flooded due to a leaking bidet sprayer, which was uncomfortable and inconvenient. • The heater only worked for the upper deck, meaning the lower deck was extremely cold. On the first night, all three of us had to squeeze into the upper deck just to stay warm. • On the second night, the hotel provided a portable heater for the lower deck, which we appreciated, but unfortunately the bed area remained freezing and did not warm up properly. We booked ‘Morning Is Like A Dream | Xiang 'an With Jun Snow Mountain LOFT Suite’ room type. Overall, the location is excellent and cleanliness is okay, but the maintenance issues and comfort problems made our stay far less enjoyable than expected. With better upkeep and functioning facilities, this hotel could be a great choice, but based on our experience, it needs improvement before we could recommend it.

Staffs are really nice and kind

Hotel provided a free airport pick up for ou rgroups according to 2 consecutive days booking, it's 7 seated van. The van left us on the main road, luckily the front desk staff came to support us for luggage transfer to the uphills location of the hotel. It was so tired to climp up even no luggage carrying. Hotel ambience is good, breakfast is less variety compared to other hotels we stayed along Yunnan trip. The last day we ask hotel staff for drop off service to train station, we paid to hotel 60¥ for it. The smaller space and lack of maintenance van was coming with no luggage transfer support...ahm. we asked them why they didn't provide the suitable van as we requested and paid for, they just say "your luggages are too many pieces... The hotel located in the downward side. The roof top of building cannot have a stunning view of jade snow mountain. I didn't find the spot to see this view as appear on the hotel's cover photo . If you want to took a picture of jade dragon mountain like in the attached picture, you have to climb up to the top of hill beneath the hotel.
