This is my second stay at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Lijiang. Last time I visited was in the summer; this time, Lijiang has entered its autumn and winter season. The greenery around the hotel rooms now features red leaves, creating a uniquely poetic and picturesque scene. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-equipped. I absolutely love the outdoor balcony – sipping tea while enjoying the outdoor scenery is incredibly relaxing. The hotel is also quite close to the Old Town. This trip, I finally got to savor the steam pot chicken I'd been craving and enjoyed some Yunnan small-bean coffee. Lijiang truly is a city you never want to leave once you've arrived. Returning to my room at night, the surroundings were very quiet. I must say, the mattress was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a deep sleep. If I ever come back to Lijiang, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.
