From the property, you are treated to breathtaking, unobstructed views of the mountains that remind you exactly why Lijiang is so special. 🛎️ Seamless Service from Start to Finish Navigating an ancient, car-free city with luggage can be daunting, but the hotel made it effortless. They provided a free car pickup from the train station, and upon arrival at the city gates, they arranged a human rickshaw to whisk our luggage through the stone streets directly to our door. A special shoutout to 阿龙 (A-Long), 李琳 (Li Lin), and the entire team. They truly go out of their way to make you feel like family rather than just a guest. Their attentive, friendly, and proactive service is the heart of this boutique stay. 🛏️ Modern Comfort Meets Tradition Our room was a dream—clean, incredibly spacious, and centered around a large window that framed the mountain views perfectly. While the aesthetic is traditional, the amenities are high-tech, ensuring a stay that is as convenient as it is comfortable. 🍎 Heartwarming Touches We happened to stay during Christmas Eve, and the staff surprised us with two beautifully wrapped Lijiang Apples (平安夜苹果) for good luck and peace. It was such a thoughtful, culturally resonant gesture that made our holiday feel so personal. ✨ All-Inclusive Ease The value here is exceptional. We loved that breakfast, afternoon tea, and even laundry services were included. We recently stayed at Paralloge and had a truly memorable experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout. What stood out most, however, was the service from our butler 大波. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive and professional, and genuinely considerate, anticipating needs before we even had to ask. His presence was seamless, never intrusive yet always there when it mattered. Whether it was coordinating details, providing helpful recommendations, or ensuring everything ran smoothly, the experience felt personal and elevated. Thank you to the entire team, and a special thank you to 大波for making our stay so exceptional.

super duper amazing hotel to stay in! excellent location, the best part of our stay was the staff’s warm and friendly hospitality, and their service was top-notch! all of us had a very enjoyable stay here on our last 2 nights in Lijiang 💗 rooms were very clean and they provide lots of amenities! we’re already planning to stay here again on our future trip! their high ratings are very well-deserved! 🫶🏻 thank you once again to the team at Vento Sunlit Hotel! we’ll be thinking about the good memories here when we’re back home! 💗🥹

Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

Saya datang ke Lijiang kali ini khas untuk Banyan Tree! Pokok wisteria yang indah, bunga begonia yang menawan, bunga pear putih bersih, bunga sakura merah jambu yang mekar, pokok willow yang melambai... Terlalu cantik! Perkhidmatan di hotel mewah ini memang tidak perlu diperkatakan lagi, terutamanya Elin di kaunter hadapan yang membalas mesej dengan pantas dan memenuhi setiap permintaan. Terima kasih banyak! Bufet sarapan pagi juga sangat lazat, terutamanya beberapa jenis dim sum. Walaupun sedang berdiet, tetap tidak dapat menahan diri untuk makan lebih! Jika ada kekecewaan, mungkin tilam dan bantal terlalu lembut, tetapi boleh ditukar di kaunter hadapan. Banyan Tree sememangnya berbaloi untuk datang lagi beberapa kali. Lain kali saya akan bawa keluarga!

Lokasi B&B adalah sangat baik, berhampiran pintu masuk utara bandar purba, bersebelahan dengan jalan utama Sifang Street, dan juga berhampiran dengan tempat menurunkan teksi. Penghawa dingin, selimut elektrik dan air panas di dalam bilik semuanya sangat berguna. Ia sangat hangat dan anda tidak perlu risau tentang kesejukan. Pengurus B&B Abin akan mengambil beg pakaian anda di tempat penghantaran supaya anda tidak perlu mencari jalan sendiri, yang sangat mudah dan menjimatkan masalah. B&B juga akan mengesyorkan pelbagai laluan dan makanan. Pendek kata, perkhidmatannya sangat baik. Sangat disyorkan. Saya ingin menyebut bahawa homestay ini juga mempunyai kafe sendiri. Pemandangannya hebat dan ia adalah salah satu yang terbaik di bandar purba. Berbaloi untuk berehat di sini. A stunning stay! The room I picked was the 180+180 room and the view was just absolutely stunning. I recommend staying more than a day to just enjoy the views of the mountain. I was hosted by Hongliang and team who were so very attentive. They gave quick recommendations on what to eat in the vicinity and helped arranged all the activities they offered. The photography experience was especially fun and the photographer gave clear guidance and there was a good selection of outfits for ladies (just one for males). The session included makeup and hairdo as well, one per room, top up if more guests want to participate. I wish I had remembered there was a free shoot then I would have saved on the one done in the ancient city. These photos turned out really nice and you can pay a fee for each additional photo you like. Coord directly with the photog 2 days before your stay. The tea pressing activity was at a nearby tea dealer and the staff were very well versed in all types of tea, if you are a connoisseur you would enjoy it. All in all an amazing stay that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a mountain retreat.

The hotel is very clean and located very close to the ancient city of Lijiang. The room is equipped with projector and TV subscription! You can watch your favourite drama after dinner in the hotel =D. Around the hotel has few shops that offers many local snacks! Be sure to try out =D
