Ulasan Hotel Convento do Salvador

Hotel Convento do Salvador was a pleasant surprise. Located in the Alfama district, within walking distance of the historic sites, it was light and bright and clean and safe. When traveling to unfamiliar places and especially if people dont speak the native language  it can be overwhelming. The staff were.very kind, friendly and helpful. Every part of the hotel was super clean and new. I slept fitfully in my quiet room with balcony doors open for fresh air. Breakfast buffet was simple, fresh and delicious. I would stay again without hesitation.

Simple hotel on the edge of town. Friendly service and helpful front desk. Basic room but clean and comfortable. Decent breakfast in the basement. No pool or gym. 10 minute walk to centre 15 mins to bus station.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of beautiful historic Alfama. Good value for money, nice spacious rooms and efficient staff. Matias on reception was extremely helpful and let me check in early. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Decent breakfast spread, very good customer service. Bathrooms were very clean.

Lovely hotel situated in the charming Alfama district. I really enjoyed my stay here when I arrived in Lisbon after a long flight. There’s a slight walk down a cobbled stone alley to get to the hotel but it won’t kill you. It’s a comfortable place if you’re exploring the neighbourhood.

The hotel is in a great location, near the top of a mountain, not far from the beach and observation deck, a 15-minute walk away. The staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was decent, with a variety of fruits and hams. The restaurant is small, with only two rows of seating. The only problem was that the towels looked a bit gray. Still highly recommended!

Good value for money, very quiet hotel! Just too small space, especially on the first floor, after turning the sofa into a bed, you can't turn around, everything else is ok. We arrived at 8 am and were allowed to check in, very friendly, but if there are elderly people in the family who can't climb the slope, you have to consider that this hotel is on the slope.

The room is very quiet, and the facilities are complete. The only drawback is that you need to carry the suitcase down, which is dozens of meters away, on a cobblestone road, but this is the characteristic street of Lisbon, and it is worth going again next time.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast is small, but everything is there and everything is fresh. A big plus is the air conditioning for warmth in January. As a minus, it can be noted that from the metro it’s a 15-minute walk with a suitcase along cobblestones and slides, but this is Lisbon. A taxi cannot drive directly to the hotel either. Overall, I really liked the hotel!

Hotel well located for visiting the old town on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Additionally, it is easily accessible from the airport.
