A very value for money hotel. Next to the sea. But rooms need renovation (esp the bed it’s not so comfortable). Breakfast is very basic. Maltezsna is a very quite village 15min from main village of Astypalaia. I would recommend if you have a medium vacation budget

We recently stayed as Maltezana Beach Hotel as part of a tour to Astypalaia. We were a little bit hesitant, as it was rated as a three star, so we thought it would be rather basic. All I can say is that we were pleasantly surprised. The setting is fantastic. Directly opposite a beach which is serviced from the motel with a beach bar and pool overlooking the sea. The staff, rooms, facilities and meals were excellent. If you want a place that is very clean, hospitable staff and has excellent service; this is the place to go. We will definitely be going back there

We stayed there for 4 nights and it was the cheapest room we could find the time we arranged our holidays at Astypalea. The location is next to a beautiful beach but a bit far from Chora. The area is calm with few restaurants in walking distance and a bus stop within approximately 100m from the hotel. the extrenal area of the hotel is well maintained and has a nice pool. The room was spacious but old. The bathroom didn't meet our expectations. The breakfast included in the room price was moderate. The staff was friendly and helpful but not always professional. Considering all the above I belive that if the price was 20% lower we could give to this hotel a 5 review rating.

We visited Astypalaia, Greece during the end of July 2021. We are two 4-member families and we stayed at Maltezana Beach Hotel, which from the very first moment more than just pleased us. We were happily surprised when at 22:00 that we arrived two very friendly people from the hotel staff were waiting to literally guide us to our hotel rooms. The rooms were exactly what they looked like on the site, spacious, clean and with all the necessary facilities. The only downside I can see is that they looked a little bit old-fashioned, but that’s not a problem for me. And actually that’s the only negative point I can think about this hotel. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the hotel’s location is excellent, exactly across a beautiful beach. But if you are in for a pool dive, the sweeping pool will definitely satisfy you. Breakfast was included in the price and was good with some home made options. Actually the smell of the cake that was baked during the evening was really tempting. In a nutshell, I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to visit the amazing island of Astypalaia.

The best vacation of my life!!! Eirini and Vlasis are the best in what they do!!! So kind and helpful in whatever we needed! Accommodation and beach bar of higher level! Coctails at the beach bar are divine! Antonis is one of a kind and he knows how to blend flavors. The coffee 3sips is soooooo tasteful!!!!All Maltezana beach Team are unique!!! Thank u all c u in 2022 :)
