We had to cancel our trip due to serious force-major reasons. Asked the hotel about the cancelation a week in advance, but the hotel rejected neither to cancel nor reschedule. Formally the hotel is right, but it can not be considered as a good service and customer-focus.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was spotlessly and clean creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for a restful night sleep

Clean hotel and accessible to centre. If you’re going to book for Rooftop make sure it’s suite room as the double room wasn’t that nice view in the balcony. Friendly staff in the breakfast area and to the receptionist who assist us 10th July 2024 (Wednesday) at 15:00 he’s approachable and accommodating I forgot his name he has tattoo. But a bit disappointed. Only continental breakfast you can have it if you’re in a hurry. But for hot breakfast you need to order in the menu and that’s the time they prepare it and serve for you I suggest it’s better everything is ready and hotel guest will just get it by themselves. Second one the receptionist who’s on shift at 11th July 2024 at 12:30 in the afternoon wasn’t that nice. it’s 2 ladies receptionist I pass the key on her and she just said thank you. The other lady just look at us without saying Hello. Front-desk receptionist should be accommodating. not even bother to ask us how’s our stay which should be standard to all Hotel service staff. Receptionist are the front one who promote your Business it’s just my opinion Halyard so I think it’s better to inform them.

Good location, room and service.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel since it opened a few months ago and it is excellent. I almost don’t want to say how much I like the staff, service, room design and location of this hotel in case I can’t get back in next time I need to come to Liverpool. As a family, we have stayed in different levels of room from the basic Queen to the King penthouse suites and all have been lovely - with considerate extras such as the coffee machines, adjustable variations on lighting and comfy beds very much appreciated.

I wouldnt book this hotel if your using ihg business card. They don't accept them. I wasted money on parking as they told me I need to do this before booking. When I called back to make the reservation I was told they don't take ihg and there's nothing they can do.

Room 120 was excellent, quirky decor exactly as website shows. Room super clean with a comfortable bed and fantastic shower. Loved the water glasses / flutes and wine glasses as well as the kettle and coffee machine in the room. Our only disappointment was breakfast on Sunday morning, totally understand 10 am is a popular time but to wait an hour for a cooked breakfast isn’t good. Restaurant staff were excellent offering extra drinks while we waited though. Location very central for m & s arena, Liverpool One and Albert Dock.

Best hotel i’ve stayed at the rooms are brilliant and well kept, the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Vic! Will definitely be staying again. It’s also in the perfect location plenty of bars and food around, great for a weekend away.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, The room was clean, luxurious, and the spacious bathroom and shower was super. Special thanks to Katie, who went above and beyond to organise the decoration of my room for a special occasion—it was absolutely perfect! Didn’t really hear any noise from the bars outside. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking stay in city centre as it’s close to everything.

Lovely hotel, all staff we encountered were both polite and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Room clean and bed comfy, with lovey shower. Couldn't fault the hotel, from arrival to departure. Would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Liverpool

Ideal location for our needs (close to family we were visiting but also within a couple of minutes walk of both the Q-Park and Liverpool One); Really friendly welcome from the concierge/front of house team with a very smooth check in/out process; Beautiful design of the garden room (a perfect spot for an afternoon cocktail when we arrived) and the restaurant/bar area which felt immersive; Very comfortable room which was equipped with everything we might need; Great sound-proofing meant we weren't disturbed either by other guests or by the local bars/revellers; Really comfy bed and pillows meant we had a great nights' sleep; Breakfast was excellent - great service from the team, a wide choice of continental options and a fab cooked breakfast; and we loved the later check out time which took some of the pressure off and allowed us time for a rare late lie-in! The Halyard is now our 'go-to' option for visits to the city and we'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay, which is accessible to all the best bits of the city

Overall a great hotel conveniently located close to the main sites of Liverpool. Beautifully maintained and nice decorated. The front reception staff are incredibly friendly- particularly Pete who was very kind towards my elderly father. All staff are so friendly and this made the hotel stay very welcoming. The few things which would have made this five star: 1. We had a triple room which had a pull out bed which didn’t have a proper mattress and so made a very uncomfortable sleep (the hotel should invest in proper single mattresses to suit the beds) 2. The housekeeping service was poor. Despite putting a sign to say we were out the rooms didn’t get cleaned. When we did request and ask for it to be done, it was just a change of towels and the bathroom was not cleaned. 3. The restaurant service can be improved. Staff are friendly but the dinner service was slow, with us having to ask for menus, ask for drinks, go find servers as they didn’t come to you. Breakfast service was also slow, but that was more understandable as they were busy. Again, the highlight is how kind and friendly the staff are.

First class stay at The Halyard with a friendly welcome from Billy at the entrance with reception staff also being super welcoming. Rooms were ultra modern and very clean with comfortable bed and lovely bathroom and shower. We decided to eat at the restaurant and the food was perfect- tapas style small plates. Staff in the bar and restaurant were again very friendly and this added to a lovely stay and would definitely return again! Location brilliant with The Monroe opposite for a nice drink also. I am from Liverpool myself and would say the staff here are the best from any other hotel I have stayed at in the city from The Hilton to Indigo & The Malmaison, Halyard is at the top of our list! Very impressed!
