I really recommend Jollyboys if you are travelling alone. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and organized, and the common area is super comfortable to chill. They also have weekly activities in the hostel, as well as very useful information for things to do during your stay. Great location as well, just a block away from the main road.

I loved and appreciated how close this hotel was to everything we needed, it was fun to walk around and still be within the hotels reach in case of anything. The place itself was so beautiful and green, you would think you're in a whole different place. I loved the nature aspect to it. The service was phenomenal, thank you to Joy, the receptionist, from the minute we got there she was kind and helpful whenever we didn't have something in the room or we generally just needed help. Couple things to note, I would appreciate it if they tried to work on their bee and fly situation. The bees were found at the restaurant area and frankly disturbed me and my friend(I'm allergic). Secondly I hope they can add more to their dinner menu. Breakfast and lunch are sorted, but the dinner part was limited to pizza(which we had to reserve earlier for it to be made. I loved my experience here, it would be my permanent place to stay every time I visit livingstone. And I highly recommend it for group and solo travel.

It is perfectly located within 5 minutes walk into the Livingstone City Centre. It has friendly and hard working staff; very helpful too. The rooms are clean, comfortable and homely. The facility has very good internet. However, consider having mosquito nets in your rooms for Livingstone is mosquito infested.

We just got back after staying three nights at the hotel and really enjoyed ourselves. Without a doubt, the highlights are unlimited access to the Falls, seeing zebras and giraffes, and keeping an eye out for the baboons! The service at this hotel was very good, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The beds are very comfortable - and we just came off a 6-day tented safari, so Avani’s beds were very welcome! I used the gym a couple of times and felt there was a decent mix of cardio and weights equipment. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5-star rating was because the rooms certainly need some attention. Within the first 30 minutes of being in our room, we noticed: the AC was broken, the toilet seat was broken, the safe needed a new door, and a wooden panel from the roof was dangling! And the next morning, the shower stopped working! But credit to Avani, they were all fixed very fast once I called housekeeping. I would like to thank Morris in the gardening team, who always greeted us in the mornings and wanted to show us more giraffes - but sadly, we didn’t have the time to see more! In the restaurants, thank you very much to Perry, who was excellent at the Theatre of Food, and over at Shungu Pool Terrace, Rangarirai and Suzan, who were superb. Thank you very much to the three of them and the others for the outstanding, memorable service.

Stay at Fairmount hotel was like staying at home, the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The experience was overall excellent - Euphrasia called to check about the airport pick up, Dawney ensured that there was internet by providing me with a mobile router. Ms. Anita and Ms. Subhasini the GM of the hotel ensured a comfortable stay. The highlight of my stay was the Indian food that i took every day - Kadai Chicken and Mutton Rogah Josh with Garlic naan and Tandoori roti were excellently prepared by well trained chef. Thank you everyone for making my stay very comfortable and memorable.

I had an OK stay here. Livingstone was lovely and relaxed. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. Only issue with the activity desk with their sort of aggressive payment requirements. Once I was late for the Botswana Chobe day tour (they had told me it started at 8, when it really started at 7) so I could not pay that morning and then they hounded me to pay in Botswana (at an inflated exchange rate) instead of waiting for my return to pay in USD which I had readily available in my room. That left quite a sour taste in my mouth.

Excellent riverside room and a wonderful resort overall. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. The gardens and surroundings in the resort are well maintained. The swimming pool is a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon, the restaurant and bar has excellent food refreshing drinks. It gets quite busy on the weekend and with big groups, but you can see why once you experience the facilities. Apart from the resort it's also home to safpar, they have many different options for travel along the zambezi and falls. We chose the river float, game drive and sunset cruise combo (Around $180) and it was totally worth it! Will definitely stop by again next time I'm in town.
