Hotel Nox

Hôtel situé en périphérie de la ville. Personne très agréable et au service. La chambre était propre et spacieuse.

I was in this hotel for 5 days and honestly speaking this experience was the best lately. Starting from my room, cleaning, breakfast. I was there on business. From the moment I arrived where the kind staff fulfill all mu requirements till the end of my visit I have only the best comments. Keep the course!

Fantastic hotel. A little out of the city centre but the quality of the hotel and value for money was well worth that. Really helpful staff and high standard of rooms with amazing views for the mountains jf you’re on the right side of the hotel.

On this trip we visited 6 hotels in 3 different countries and Nox was far the best ! Modern room, best bed & pillows. Great breakfast ! We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A big thank you to all of the hotel staff who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very smooth.

We felt like queens in hotel Nox. The rooms are specious and have everything you might dream about. Towels, sheets are great quality such as everything in the hotel. Everything is spotless clean, staff is friendly and professional. It was our first but for sure not our last stay!

The Hotel Nox in Ljubljana does not live up to its portrayal on their website and the room was suffocatingly hot. We barely slept. The company presents its hotel as a designer 4-star boutique but it is more like a 2 or 3-star roadside motel. Definitely not worth the 150 euros / night charged. More fundamentally, we could not sleep because the hotel is apparently too cheap to turn on the AC “between seasons” (even though the front desk told us what was obvious: “the entire hotel is hot”). The young man at the front desk tried to be helpful but could not figure out how to open our room window more than a crack, and he had no other solutions at midnight (not even a fan). He said he’d ask the manager for a discount in the morning (let’s see) but that won’t compensate for a sleepless night. There are many better options in Ljubljana.— including near the airport if that’s your objective.

One of the best hotels we went to, for sure on a scale of value to money. the location is very good for people renting a car, close to the city but also close to the highway to/from the airport and to/from tours up north (to Bled for example). The front desk service was perfect, especially the lady from Serbia (I forgot her name) who made all efforts to promote Slovenia. the room was well cleaned and maintained. although it is next to a busy road, we heard nothing. a big supermarket right near the hotel, and also a BBQ restaurant and a petrol station. Breakfast was very good and also the free drinks we received in our minibar were a nice bonus. Each room has its own design. we got the "coffee room". To summarize: we highly recommend.
