The Shelbourne

Had a lovely weekend at the Shelbourne, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Had a sea view room which was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I forgot my phone charger which Sarah was kind enough to post back to me. Can recommend this hotel.

Excellent in every respect! Warm welcome, lovely and comfortable room with great en-suite. Tasty breakfast and great service from the staff. Secure parking, highly recommended and if we need to go to Llandudno again, we know where there's a great place to stay!

The hotel is amazing. Wonderful friendly owners and staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very bright and clean, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was amazing and filled us up, we didn't need anything else to eat until tea time. There was a bar, which we didn't use as we are tea total. But it had a wonderful hot drinks machine, which made brilliant drinks and was very reasonable priced. We made full use of this. The cleaners did an amazing job of keeping the room clean. They even sent my partner a birthday card. Such a very personal touch. We can't recommend the hotel highly enough. We arrived as guests, but feel we left as friends. We will be going back hopefully time and time again.

Firstly let me say the hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good, apart from that there were several issues : We arrived about 2 pm in the afternoon and knew that check- in was from 3 pm. However, we would have been happy to sit in reception after a long drive but the door was locked until 3 pm. We had booked a sea view room for 2 people but our first disappointment was the small room. There was no wardrobe, only one chair and the twin beds had been pushed within 6” of each other. There was only a small space at the bottom of the beds to pass by and it was difficult to avoid hitting our heads on the low wall mounted TV. The en-suite was very small with absolutely no ventilation both windows having been painted shut. Only one window in the room itself could be opened for the same reason.

Great B&B in a prefect location, and the owners and staff couldn't be nicer. Room was spotless and comfortable while the breakfast was delicious. The bar area has the best view of the beach on the *****. I enjoyed having a guiness on my first night

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Shelbourne. The hotel is clean and so welcoming. We have never met nicer people! Berin went way out of his way when I wasn’t feeling well and his kindness will stay with us. Breakfast was delicious and the views outstanding! Thanks for the great stay!
