Pros: friendly staff, quiet resort.
Cons: old and run down. Kids club was a joke. Duplo pieces were dirty and dusty. Basically it was set up by the pool as they are redoing their old space so the only toys they had were dirty and broken. Nothing was really organized. Son was excited for water gun games and the water guns were all broken. Scavenger hunt entailed handing beige Easter eggs within the small surrounding by the pool. Very disappointed. Food was overpriced and bad. Drinks also overpriced. We learned this when we hired a car to a nice resort and beach 20 minutes away and discovered the food was delicious, price was 1/3 of this one and the sand and beach there was much better. It’s an old run down hotel. We say it’s quiet but really there wasn’t many people there. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Ths is an unbelievably perfect resort, discreetly positioned a short distance from the most scenic and atmospheric Selang Belanak beach. The choice of varied private villas are top notch, we stayed in the Joey villa, it was like a tropical show home with a great sundeck pool and jacuzzi. The 2 bedrooms were cool and with well appointed outdoor bathrooms. The restaurant, bar and secluded sports bar were brilliant and only surpassed with great menu, top chef and the whole of the team that services this resort. Friendly, professional and always smiling, from the garden team, kitchen, front of house and restaurant staff we only wished we could stay for longer or be in a position to invest in one of the units plots available. The owner, Michael was a top man, humble in his development but friendly, professional and most knowledgeable of the area and always willing to share a laugh or solve a question. A fellow Leeds United fan, albeit fro Sydney thank you to you and your brilliant staff, you have a great place that surely will only go from strength to strength. A local 4-star hotel with just a so so location and service.
Location was said quiet close by many food options but there is better location than this hotel.
As for Service, I asked for the price for whole day rental for a car and front desk said someone will call me to my room but it turn out no one really call me.
Amenities just below par, towel are old. No hand or face towel, or maybe this is just the hotel standard.
The floor where I stayed, is dark and did not give good impression.

The hotel is quite decent. Ok for couples and families. Near to the fast food like McDonald at Matarram Mall, convenient store and even Chatime (Korean fast food) just next to the hotel. Transportation (Grab) are easy to get around. I like that they are eco friendly....every level have a umber of water dispensers as such, no bottled water in the room. Good job!!!

Took a 2 hr 20 mins direct Scoot flight from Singapore and then a 1.5 hr car ride to the resort. Booked a car directly from resort and driver was waiting outside after exiting the airport with resort name. We booked the family suite which was the premier suite and the premier room combined, it had a connecting door. Room was huge but no bathtub in either rooms. Separate shower and toilet. There’s also a outdoor shower but I think it’s only for the ground floor units. Comes with safe deposit, kettle and fridge. No ironing board. Their laundry is rather reasonable price. Beds were very comfortable and their air conditioning is cold. We had a few power shut downs but it was resumed very quickly in less than 20 secs. Nice beach but not suitable for swimming as the waves were huge. They have nice pools and sun decks. They have 2 restaurants serving Italian, western and Indonesia food. The Italian restaurant ‘Kliff’ is a must try. Superb food and quality at reasonable prices. Book a table to watch the sunset with Bali island in view. Beautiful sunset. The resort have a spa and gym as well. Tried the spa, prices were very reasonable and cheaper than Bali. Booked their snorkelling trips to the Gili islands and it was awesome! Gili Nanggu was our fav. Will definitely come again, Lombok is more laid back and without the Bali crowds. Things were cheaper too. If you want a nice, relaxing, quiet and good prices, come to Lombok. If you prefer pubs, shopping and crowds, then go to Bali. There’s also public ferries connection between Bali and Lombok. It takes approx 2 hours. Most of them understand simple English and remembers our preference for coffee and how we like our eggs done.

Perkhidmatan yang sangat baik dan makanan yang lazat, kawasan ini sangat tenang tetapi terdapat perhentian teksi di tingkat bawah dan dalam 5 minit anda berada di tengah-tengah Sengigi.
Urutan di Spa sangat bagus.
Perkara yang paling tidak menyenangkan tidak ada kaitan dengan hotel, tetapi di atas bukit yang sama terdapat masjid yang sangat aktif dengan pembesar suara, bukan sahaja anda boleh mendengar muzik waktu solat dari 4 pagi (yang menawan) tetapi anda boleh mendengar doa dan menyanyi. berjam-jam dan berjam-jam. Sukar untuk berehat dan berehat seperti ini.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaI’m going to start w the positives. Amber is in a beautiful location on a private beach with nothing around. The walkways are lush with blooming banana trees and pineapple plants. I used the spa everyday while I was there. The treatments were all wonderful and in a peaceful ambiance.
The staff was very friendly from the front office to the walkways and in the restaurant. The restaurant was very understaffed on Saturday night for the bbq dinner. The servers were great they just needed more hands on the floor. It seemed the manager of the restaurant just sat up front on his phone all the time.
The hotel is very family oriented and I didn’t pick up on that at my time of booking. Kids running and screaming all day long. Parents, nanny’s and staff yelling for children that were running around wild all day. At Breakfast, lunch/pool time & dinner they were multiple family’s just letting the kids run around everywhere. There wasn’t any peaceful time at the pool to read or relax. At 1 point there were 12 small children at the pool on Sunday. The one day I didn’t got to the pool because it was so crowded.
I love the room when I checked in but that faded quickly. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. I killed at least 10 by hand and every time I left I sprayed the poison can they left in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell all the time.
The bedding was dirty dirty not stained it was unwashed. I left the clean room sign on the door all day I figured by the time I got back from my massage it would of been by 4:30 and it was not.
The comforter was covered up by the blanket and never changed since prior guests. It had blood marks that had not been washed for who knows how long.
I was bit by something in the night on my face around 3:30am and my face swelled up. I turned the light on but couldn’t see any insects. It hurt so bad. I told the front desk the next morning and they got me an ointment to put on it. It was swollen for days and very painful.
I had expectations that it would of been amazing but it wasn’t.
My food was all delicious, the restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, the spa was great but the structure of the hotel has a lot to work on for the price. I’ve been in lombok for 2 months and I’ve never seen so many small children.
If it was advertised as kid friendly I would of picked somewhere else.
Even at check out a family was also leaving and 2 of the 3 kids were crying and I said there has been kids screaming and crying every hour for the 3 days I was there.
Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms
For the money there are many better options in south lombok

LLeonHZWOur stay at Royal Avila was amazing. We stayed in room 501 rooftop suite.
Staffs at the hotel were really proactive and initiative in providing the best service and always smiling. The staffs even remember our room number and our names.
Rooms were spacious and clean and had the best sunset view! The restaurant food was great and we had our dinner there almost every night.
During dinner the restaurant had live music and we had cocktails to relax.
Definitely would recommend and will return on our next visit!

We had an incredible stay at Meno Island Villas! We had the 2-bedroom, private pool villa and stayed for almost a week. 'Google', Din, Yan, and As were awesome hosts, super friendly and always smiling, they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and fun. Our rooms were very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved using our private pool 3/4 times per day. We also had breakfast included each morning, with a good menu to choose from. It also happened to be my birthday during our stay, and the guys went out of their way to not let me forget it! They also catered to our every need, helping us carry our bags, ordering and delivering food like 'room service' from across the island, a never-ending supply of Bintangs, helping us get the best prices on tours, the service was better than I would expect at home. Could not be more complimentary!! In terms of location, getting around Gili Meno was easy, we walked everywhere (but you can take a horse and cart). You can also rent a bike, but be warned, some areas (particularly on the tracks closest to the ocean) are very sandy, so you would have to get off and walk those, but the further inland you go the more ridable the tracks. Meno Island Villas is pretty much in the centre of the island, so its close to everything. It's roughly 10mins walk to the west coast where the best snorkelling spots are (statues and turtles) as well as all the good bars/restaurants on the island. It's maybe 12mins walk the other way to the east coast where the port is, and probably 15mins to the top of the island where the best sunrise/sunset is. We explored Gili Air and Gili Trawangan on day trips as well which 'Google' helped us organise, and these were very enjoyable, I'd highly recommend going to both of them too. Gili Meno is definitely the quietest of the 3 islands (particularly during the evenings) if that is what you're after, but the snorkelling spots are PACKED during the day. A local described the islands as Meno is the honeymoon island, Trawangan is the party island and Air is the mushroom island! Getting between the islands is very easy. I suggest approaching people directly yourself though, don't go through the shuttle companies and pay 450pp, we averaged 250 for 4 people on private boats, so you can definitely negotiate pretty heavily. In the end, we had an amazing time, filled with great memories and we didn't want to leave!

IIsy_bisyThis hotel has so much potential. The staff and service were amazing and super friendly. The location is isolated compared to other hotels but I loved the quiet and the sound of the waves from the balcony of my room. Half the hotel is still under renovation but my room in the other half was beautifully decorated and very clean. The restaurant menu is very limited however with a lot of things being out of stock even for simple things like beer or spirits so no cocktails are available despite having 2 bars which was disappointing. The food I did order was good though. Both the pool on the ground floor and the one on the top are beautiful and perfect to catch the sunset 🌅 Maybe next season will be better because like I said it has the potential to be excellent.

PPengguna TetamuStaff try very hard to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't incredibly fancy but it tasted good and had nice touches like actual wheat bread. Near lots of shops and street food, there's not a lot for tourists in this town but this is probably the best neighborhood to be in if you are passing through. The room was nice and clean, only bad part was the mattress needed replacement. Maybe as things things pick up post-pandemic they will fix that.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed here in March 2023. The hotel was empty apart from us taking up 2 rooms (unless we missed other guests). The hotel was lovely but it was just very tired. It really does need some updating, but we totally understand that what with Covid and the earthquakes Lombok suffered, recovery has been slow. The rooms were clean and tidy. Only issue we had was that we struggled with the wifi. Each time it went out, we contacted reception and they managed to get it going again, but it was a regular gripe that it would only last for a short time and then have to be reset. Not the end of the world, but we did chose a hotel with wifi as we need to be in contact with work. Due to the lack of guests at the hotel they were running a very limited menu which wasn’t even open of an evening. Again, we understand that the costs of keeping it open for the minimal guests is not cost effective. However, we would have liked to know before we booked. Luckily, we found a very lovely restaurant (The Office) just over the road. Our friends had been here twice in previous years and therefore know how lovely this hotel used to be. We hope it manages to recover and get back to where it once was.

We both had scrambled eggs on toast which also has some veg mixed in which is a nice touch & we ordered a tea with milk which were so yummy (which is hard to come by in Indonesia!) The tea was 10k & the scrambled eggs was 30k so it was amazing value. Recommend this spot for breakfast when in Gili T!

Food is good. Breakfast has a lot of selection and is well presented. Lunch by the pool was very nice too.
Pool is excellent as is the beach in front of the hotel with direct access. But wear googles if you plan to spend much time underwater in the pool as the chlorine is present.
A nice selection of local eateries on the beach 400 m South of the hotel that are wonderful places to enjoy the sunset. Just use your phone to translate the menu and understand that they are alcohol free. But you can easily feed a family of four for 250K idr with dessert and drinks.
Drinks at the hotel pool bar are quite strong about half the price of Australia so good value. Mostly Indonesian clientele but everyone is very friendly.
We saw quite a few European guests but we were the only Aussies. Lombok certainly isn't overrun yet and is much quicker to get around than Bali.
Probably my only concern is that Senggigi as a location hasn't really recovered from the Covid shutdown yet. Great place to base yourself for Gili Islands, the Wild life park, White Water rafting, and the Waterfalls north of the main Volcano. But Not a heck of a lot to do in Senggigi itself.

Jika anda mempunyai bagasi besar atau roller, saya tidak akan mencadangkan ini. Saya hanya tidak berasa mahu cuba membuat alasan dengan pemandu kuda (tiada Grab di pulau itu) kerana ia adalah kali pertama saya dan saya tidak tahu berapa kos yang sepatutnya. PS, pemandu kuda adalah standard 100,000. Bagaimanapun, resort ini baik dan saya menerima jus selamat datang. Bilik itu agak kecil daripada yang saya bayangkan. Kekecewaan terbesar saya ialah kolam renang tidak berfungsi dan saya menempah di sana selama 3 malam. Saya terpaksa menggunakan kolam kawan saya setiap hari yang berdekatan dengan pelabuhan. Kejatuhan lain, adalah resort ini jauh dari kehidupan malam yang lebih dekat dengan pelabuhan jika anda bercadang untuk keluar lewat. Dan kembali ke resort, anda berjalan atau berbasikal menyusuri jalan yang sangat gelap ini. Saya akhirnya pergi selepas hari ke-2 kerana kolam masih tidak berfungsi. Dari segi makanan, saya hanya mencuba Ribs Goreng dan ia adalah ok. Orangnya baik dan perkhidmatannya bagus, saya mesti katakan. Mereka memberi pampasan kepada saya dengan memberi saya sewa basikal percuma. Cadangan saya adalah jika anda bercadang untuk hanya tinggal di satu tempat untuk berehat, Santorini ok untuk itu jika kolam berfungsi kerana pantai terletak di seberang resort. Tetapi jika anda bercadang untuk meneroka pulau itu dan mungkin melakukan kehidupan malam, saya akan tinggal lebih dekat dengan pelabuhan.
