Booking was easy. Both single rooms were ready and clean on arrival. Facilities in room good - ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits, long life milk and fridge. One room needed some finishing touches checked. The other room had no bedside light and switch for overhead light back at entrance door with no means of switching it off at bedside. Overall, staff very pleasant and breakfast recommended at cafe 5 minutes away with a very versatile menu. Luggage stored after checkout for reclamation later. Overall, we felt the hotel had a lot to offer for us.

Great stay room was good on ground floor like i requested. The only thing that ruined my stay someone tried to break into my van on the car park cutting a hole in my van door. It was all recorded on CCTV.

No one at check in upon arrival for a long time, even after buzzing. Rooms are ok but paper thin walls means you hear everything around you

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Nothing like the photos. Rooms are dreadful, dirty, tv didn’t work, shower didn’t work, shower came apart in my hand. They gave me a new room… no improvement. Dreaded going back every night but had paid upfront .. torn curtains, ripped chair, looks like nothing had been upgraded since early 70’s.. filthy carpet, beds awful, and note in awful toilet asking you not to put toilet paper in the toilet? I cannot stress how bad this hotel is and the stench of stale smoke is the first thing that hits you… BEWARE

Easy check in. Lovely staff. Rooms fairly basic but do the job. Please note it says parking available but it’s 3 very small spaces on a first come first served basics! Nice area to stay around!

We stayed in 203, having paid for a spacious double. The room was excellent in terms of size - double bed, rollout bed folded into a chair, a desk, space to move around. The bathroom, however, was closet sized with a slanted ceiling/wall. My friend is very tall and could hardly stand upright anywhere except inside the shower stall. The wall above the shower had black mold. The radiator was broken and had been replaced by an electric heater. We asked for an extra duvet and got one immediately. Meanwhile our friends downstairs in 103 had a radiator that wouldn’t turn off. Staff was extremely nice, cleaning was excellent. It’s fine for a few days or if you’re only there to sleep. We picked it for easy walking distance to Alexandra Palace Theatre and this worked out very well. Busses very close by, several good dining options as well.

Family of 4. 2 adult 2 children. Arrived at 7pm. After a long day driving 300 miles and awake since 4.30am (wife straight after a night shift) all we wanted was something to eat and sleep. We settled in at 9.30. At 11pm the room phone starts ringing at fire alarm volume waking everyone. The reception claims asks if we are making noise. Advised they had woken us. Coming pained to booking agent who rang the hotel. At 11:40am. The phone booms again. I go down to speak to reception very, claims that 2 rooms have complained about their neighbour, the rooms are across the other side of the hotel from us. Not been able to get back to sleep, have another 300 miles to drive tomorrow. Very unhappy. Never ever had an experience like this.
