this hotel is a distance away from the city, but i’ve come to love it’s quiet and quaint neighbourhood. as hotel guests, you get free rides on the ferry to & fro Canary Wharf pier, which is still about a 10 minute walk to Canary Wharf metro & various malls. the hotel has narrow hallways to the rooms, floors are a little squeaky & you can hear people talk in the halls from your hotel room. lifts were a little confusing as well as rooms are subdivided into 8 areas (8 lifts). me and my mother didn’t receive a warm cookie upon check-in, but my boyfriend who arrived the next morning did, along with the ferry schedule, so i would say hotel service is inconsistent. we also had several issues with the toilet not being able to flush (me & my boyfriend’s room) & it took half a day for someone to attend to us - from the time we left the hotel to an hour after we got back. my mom had to call thrice on this issue. our toilet was also smaller and there was no drainage on the bathroom floor so it was often wet.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Breakfast was nice, plenty of options. Would stay again and recommend to others. Only down points were told they didn’t offer bottles of water (even though my Hilton honors stated I get water), and also issue with heating/aircon in room and it was very cold, but they did supply electric heaters.

In general it is a good hotel. But the lift is very small and only one is available. Two people with two luggages is the maximum. Room cleaning is quite late (around 3:30pm or later).

Terpaksa menempah bilik saat-saat terakhir di kawasan itu. Perkhidmatan di penerimaan tetamu semasa ketibaan sangat ramah dan hangat, menawarkan kuki hangat juga yang merupakan isyarat yang bagus. Our room is on ground floor, is noisy esp when we turn on the shower tap. It always stress us when bathing, it will start vibrating creating very loud sound. The temperature is so hard to adjust. Room is pathetic small with no space to open the luggage. When checking out the staff actually told us we have an outstanding of $350 which we have already fully paid through Trip.com. Ridiculous hotel, will not stay again.

A old Hotel, the rooms are in not that good condition and overall cleanliness is nit that good. The staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet choice is small and every day the same. Location is ditectly beside the train station, very easy to get to trains and underground. We have no troubles with the train sounds, but for somebody who needs it really quiet, should choose another double tree location in London.
