Buckle Street Studios by Locke

The stay was very nice and convenient! We booked an early check in (from 2 o’clock on) yet something went wrong and we couldn’t check in before 4 o’clock. As compensation we received a free late check out (1 o’clock instead of 11) and weren’t charged anything! :) The room was in all clean, just the couch wasn’t as clean as expected. We just put a cover over it. In all it’s a pretty nice and safe area with lots of tall office buildings and we had a pretty nice view out of our room! Also the tube isn’t far away, I’d say 2-3 minutes walk. If even, it’s around the corner. In all a wonderful stay! Might even stay there again for the next trip

First of all, staff are very friendly and kind. They gave me some snacks , flowers and messages because I came London and stay here as Honeymoon. We are so impressed it. Thank you so much Neha! But just one problem… These days are very windy and rainy days so leaked water from windows. I told it to front staff, and the one hour later, maintenance staff came to our room to talk check. He told to front staff that “they have to move the room” and the we waited more one hour to change the room… However, new room was smaller than old room. we felt sad ;( Also some times bathroom didn’t provide hot water… In conclusion, Staff are so nice, Location is also very good, Facilities are not so good…

Location was excellent, with Aldgate East ideal for travellers coming into Kings Cross/Euston. The room was exceedingly tight with very little space for baggage. Our room was immediately opposite the lift and we could hear the lift regularly. The accommodation was very clean and staff attentive/available 24/7.

The room was not ready when I check in at 23:00. The staff didn’t check before hand and gave the room key to me. I only found out when I enter the room. I went back to reception and complain about it and a new room was given to me after more than 30 minutes, so I only completed the full check in process at midnight, my friend and I were exhausted. The new room didn’t feel really clean and I was told that housekeeping will only help me to clean my room if my reservation was over 7 nights. I won’t recommend this hotel to those who care about the cleanliness of their room. At this price range I feel like I can book a better room in other areas. However, overall the hotel location is really good just next to the underground station and the cafe beside it is good too.

This hotel is a bit old compared with Leman which is just opposite. Location is good, minutes walk to tube station and attractions.

We were going to a nearby conference so this location was perfect for our needs, that being said there were some great restaurants and bars nearby.
