"Start with the good: the staff was very nice, the capsule comfortable (great bed) and I was lucky to get a quiet room of respectful people. And the bad: the worst thing is the showers. Aside from being crammed, the button push lasts 5-6 seconds (counted), which means you're constantly pushing and getting a mix of cold or scalding how water. Please fix your showers! It was also clogged and flooded quickly. I think the toilets/shower areas could use cleaning more often. There is no public space, tables, etc. at all, you come here just to sleep or rest in your capsule. Better than what most other hostels offer (some not even having curtains!) and a better night sleep for sure, but no mingling. Also not much space for shoes or luggage, and certainly no safe lockers. It could be so much better if they had made some space for this. Would also be nice to be able to pick top/bottom bunk: being on the bottom I was woken up by banging/dropping items/etc. by the guest above me. Overall good, better than most in the area, but it could easily be better still :)"

"Location is great, very close to King’s Cross station and St. Pancras station. Many attractions such as The British Museum, Convent Garden, Coal Drop Yard etc. are all in a walkable distance. However, due to the heat wave, extremely hot weather, while waiting for check in at the lobby, the waiting queue is super long, it was very hot and unbreathable. There is also no AC or fan in the room, and no fridge. With a strap tied to the window, we could only open a small gap, not enough for the oxygen to enter the room. It was too hot during the night, the room was like an oven, we couldn’t sleep, had to get to the lobby to ask for a solution, the staffs said that they have fan for borrow, but that night they already lended it all out. They marked our room number and said will deliver a fan to our room the next night, but the other night after we get back to our room we did not see any fan in our room. Lastly, the lock of our bathroom is broken."

"A strong choice if staying at Covent Garden. It is walking distance to many eateries (though many overpriced, use Google Map reviews to find the reasonably priced options), many West End theatres, and also to the Westminster area (Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Parliament). I did not have breakfast, nor did I dine at their restaurants or bars so I cannot comment. I did not use their facilities as well, as I was out and about the entire day, so again I cannot comment. Service staff were friendly, from the porters handling left luggage, to the receptionist checking us in. Only one small note - the bedsheets had some black stains which did not come off when I rubbed it. Don't know what they were, but it didn't really affect my enjoyment of the room. The shower area in the bathroom of the single room is quite small, and larger sized guests may wish to take note."

"The location is not easy to get to and no signs was available. The room was clean but outdated deco. The bedside USB sockets does not work, we have to charge our phones at the desk. The handwashing liquid, shampoo and conditioner were fixed too high and inconvenient location. The shower water pressure was too low. The breakfast was the worse experience I ever had in a Hotel. Very limited types of food available and ran out so quickly as soon as many guests but little food. Only one staff on duty for topping up food and one staff to clean tables. There were not enough tables and seats available. It was complete and utter chaos. A guest accidentally spilled a cup of porridge into another customer but there were no napkins to clean it up. I never seen such chaos. I would not recommend this hotel and never go again."

"The hotel is located directly above Paddington Station, offering direct access via a covered walkway so you don't even need to leave the station. Downstairs, you'll find a Starbucks, M&S, and other stores, making both travel and shopping incredibly convenient. Step outside, and you're immediately at the Tube and train stations, providing easy access to all major attractions and Heathrow Airport. The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet at night, with no train noise despite its location. It was a great stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit."

"Rooms need to be updated but other than that, it’s great. Bed was comfortable and the towels were good to! Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly. The last morning they had the GM in the breakfast room helping out. Very nice and friendly lady."

"We had a fantastic stay at Tribe! Since it was my husband’s first time in London, we were given a room with a beautiful view – such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Canary Wharf station, which was very convenient. There are also plenty of great dining options all around the hotel. "The room was quite small; with two beds, there was barely any space to move around. **Cleanliness:** This was genuinely poor. The bedsheets had visible stains and marks, and they weren't changed once during my entire 6-day stay. When the bed was made, it was obvious the duvet had been thrown on the floor, as the sheets picked up carpet fibers and hair – it was frankly disgusting. Even the drinking glasses weren't cleaned daily; I'd return after a day out to find they hadn't been replaced with fresh ones. I called the front desk, and a staff member came in, just quickly rinsed the glass by hand, and seemed to think that was perfectly acceptable."

AAnonymous Userthe staff was so nice and warm welcoming. the room and facilities are quite good but it looked old a little bit. after checking out, i left the luggage at the hotel to traveling in other places and came back to take my luggage in the evening — this is the best point that i love ❤️

GGexing～tianxiaThe rooms are pristine and, despite the hotel being open for just a year, there was no unpleasant dampness or strange smell from the water. The service was also excellent. It appears the hotel uses a water softening system, as my hair felt incredibly smooth after washing. The complimentary bottled water is also a custom-branded mineral water, which adds a touch of sophistication. While not in the city centre, the hotel boasts excellent transport links. It's particularly well-served by buses; route 55 goes directly to Oxford Street, and route 205 takes you to King's Cross Station (convenient for trains to Cambridge and other cities). It's incredibly easy to get around from here – just remember to check the bus direction! When returning to the hotel, it's actually closer to alight at the bus stop after Old Street and walk from there. Overall, this hotel offers fantastic value for money. Perhaps because it's a newly opened hotel still in its introductory phase, securing an Executive Room in London for just over 2000 RMB is genuinely a great deal.

GGuest UserWe're a family of 4 with 2 young children and booked the studio. But when we arrived, we were told that the room had no electricity and so split us into 2 rooms instead. While the rooms were generally clean, most of the bath towels had brown patches or old blood stains on them which was quite gross. 1 room that we were assigned to also had a weird fishy smell at the stove area. The hotel is about 7 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and is located on quiet street. This is not a very pleasant area, and there were always shady characters around the tube station, which made us feel uncomfortable, so we tried not to stay out too late. Staff were friendly and accommodating but they appeared short staffed during check in / check out timings. Only 2 staff on duty, so there is a bit of a wait if you need their help at these times.

OOllieSmithOne night stay at heathrow after a flight. Emailed hotel the night before to ask for a nice view as it was my brothers birthday treat and he loved watching the planes. Had already booked a runway view room but some are on lower floors so more restricted. On arrival at the hotel they had upgraded us to a suite which was a really lovely gesture however we had booked a twin and the suite was a double. We asked for the sofa bed to be made up. After 4 visits to reception and a 5 hour wait, housekeeping finally made up the sofa bed. By this point we were extremely tired as we'd had a really long day so it did damper our experience a little. The birthday cake and note in the suite were a lovely touch. With the upgrade, we were given access to the executive lounge which has a great view over the runway to watch the planes. Drinks available all day with alcohol in the evening and canapés. Unlike every other executive lounge ive been to, the canapés were served plated to your table which seemed a little strange and also made the service very slow as the lounge was full. Also meant there was a higher level of wastage as people didnt want some of the selection. Based on this visit, I wouldn't book a room for the lounge access. There are much better hotels at the airport with better lounges if that's what your looking for. Beds were extremely comfortable. Lovely bathroom. Again, great view of the runway. Aircon wouldn't go below 20 which was a little annoying with how warm London is at the moment. Great selection at breakfast. Friendly staff. Delicious food. I would stay here again but wouldn't worry about access to the executive lounge as that was disappointing.

JJSSYCheck-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. The bell man or concierge were very attentive and helpful with our bags. Breakfast buffet was good. Room was clean and provided nice shower gel and shampoo. Location is great, just next to the tube station, several shops and eateries.

GGuest UserHotel was a little old fashioned in the build, Service was good. The Aviation bar with a view was fantastic, The price of drinks wasn't. £7.40 for a larger that costs me £3.90 in my local. Hotel room was clean & very presentable but old fashioned. Parking was expensive @ £18 a night.

DD TKKWe have booked for 5 nights, but when we checked in very late on day one, we were given a sub par room which was much smaller than what we have booked, and it's also very old. We made the complain to the front desk, and they didn't have any room to change for us. They only promised to give us a better room for the next 4 nights. Since I have prepaid already, they should not give our room to someone else even if they are full. The hotel is very clean and the location is excellent.

GGuest UserBerjaya Eden is very near to Queensway and Bayswater station. You'll need to carry your luggage up some stairs, but it's manageable. Alternatively drag your luggage for about 20 minutes to/from Paddington station. Hotel is in a student and touristy area near to Kensington and Hyde Parks. You can walk to Portobello street (Notting Hill movie) and even Holland Park. Rooms are serviced by an old elevator which can accommodate 2 persons with luggage. Checking in was easy and you have to pay a refundable £50 deposit. The manager helped us with our heavy luggage when he saw us approaching the hotel entrance. Our original room was located quite a distance from the lift. He gave us a room near the lift without our asking. We didn't get to thank him as he had some matter to attend to. Room was clean with comfortable bed. A tower type fan provided as there's no aircon. Won't be adequate during the summer months. Shower area was good enough for us but larger guests will find it crammed. Hot water was instantaneous and easily controlled. Buffet breakfast starts from 8am and it's Malaysian and Continental. The restaurant is called Med (Mat) Salleh and run by two Malaysian ladies from Ipoh. The Malaysian breakfast was good especially the fried chicken wings. You get all the 3 parts of the wing instead of just the drumlet served elsewhere. Yummy! Restaurant is popular with Malaysian tourists and government/business persons. Malaysian Royalty have even visited Med Salleh restaurant. There are many restaurants, cafes, pubs and supermarkets near the hotel. You won't go hungry except your wallet will be lighter if your currency is much lower than the British Pound. Checking out was just as easy and the deposit refunded to your credit card on the same day. You can also leave your luggage if you still have time before catching the train to Heathrow or elsewhere. You can catch the train to Heathrow from Paddington via Elizabeth Line or the TFL Line. Elizabeth Line cost more but is more comfortable, less stops and with enough space for your luggage.

BBehekEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).
