Lovely traditional hotel. On our arrival we were greeted straight away reception staff were attentive and we were upgraded to a beautiful room with a Lounge and balcony. The room was Very well presented your feet sank into the carpet, bed was very very comfortable and the pillows were fabulously soft. Tea and coffee provided also a fridge for you to chill your drinks or keep food fresh. Beautiful robes in the bathroom with his and hers sink bath and shower. A separate toilet. A wonderful nights sleep as the area is very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic freshly cooked to order and served to table with a pot of hot tea or coffee, there were also fresh pastries, freshly squeezed fruit juices cold meat’s cheese all you could want and the staff were great nothing was to much trouble. We have booked again to stay in May. For me this hotel ticked all the boxes and then some If I was going to pick flies the only thing I could pick out would be the lifts we only used them once, we used the stairs after that which helped me walk my breakfast off.

My family of four arrived here for 3 nights, coming in to Heathrow from the US, taking the Express to Paddington station. 5 minute walk, we were tired from the long flight, they immediately helped us with our luggage and got us in early to our room. Hotels in London are painfully expensive; more so with a family; rooms tend to be small, worn, with tight hallways and stairs, lifts that are cramped and not working, and if AC is featured, it breaks down or does little. This hotel is a breath of fresh air. Not cheap, but clean, friendly, new and comfortable. We had a 2 room connecting family unit with AC(didn't need it, London was over it's heat wave), 3 comfy beds, 2 baths with plenty of hot water, Tea, coffee and water is on every floor. I used the small, by reservation, gym which had a Peloton bike. Elevators, we used 2, worked efficently. There's a cafe in the lobby featuring vegetarian food, very busy in the morning. Plenty of local restaurants near. We enjoyed Bizzarro Itallan. Good to call ahead for reservations this time of year anywhere in the city. Easy to ride the tube to various sites, theatre(which we did each night). It's a quiet, safe, residential neighborhood. Small grocer and laundry(which we used) just down the street. After much research, I don't think there's a better place in the area. Staff very attentive. Part of the Park Grand hotels.

The location is good, around 10 min walk to Paddington train station, so around 30 min to the Heathrow airport. The hotel is very small, small room, small corridor. No wonder the price is a bit cheaper. doesn't seem to be 4 stars hotel.

Generaly my stay was good except that the WC flush did not work properly and I reported this but it was not repaired. Also I slipped in the bath on the last morning whilst having a shower and fell heavily. There was no bath slip mat and I am still feeling discomfort.

As a seasoned Diamond Elite traveller with IHG, I thought the rooms were dated and could do with an little upgrade. Simple things like USB plugs, which are pretty standard in most IHG hotels etc. Our initial room was on the 5th floor and we were not advised the A/C was not working. A short phone call with Swathy and she sorted us out with an alternative room….Great service. Just a note to add - you can here the tube line if you’re on the lower floors, so bear that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

The best thing was hands down the location and starbucks being inside the hotel. It’s a very busy hotel though with many airline staff staying there. Queues can be long at reception and whilst some receptionists were very service oriented some weren’t very guest friendly. I had booked a premium double but was given a premium twin TWICE. Dragging my suitcases around after an exhausting travel there. I then had to downgrade to a standard double because I cannot sleep in a single bed. The bathrooms were both the same tiny size though the premium room definitely was more spacious. The standard room makes you feel claustrophobic.

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

This hotel is so beautiful! There is a cafe downstairs and a lounge/cafe upstairs too. The breakfast was incredible. We chose the smallest room so we expected it to be small- which it definitely was! Very snug. But it was cleverly designed with some rail space, hair dryer, safe under the bed etc. There wasn’t much floor space but again we could have chosen a bigger room if we wanted to. The room is very well decorated. The location is amazing as you can see Paddington station from the entrance. There are plenty of bars and restaurants on the street. The staff were very friendly. I would stay here again.

Great location right opposite the Paddington underground station. Room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee facilities…. The room has air conditioning that you can control unlike the other Hilton at tower bridge they had set temperatures. Obviously to save money.. the only let down was I tried to get some milk for tea around 11pm nobody answered the phone besides room service who told me to contact housekeeping … I ended up buying a bottle of milk from a shop opposite the hotel … even reception was not answering

A short walk from Paddington Station and such friendly welcoming staff.. we stayed for 4 nights and if we ever go back to London we will definitely check in here... without asking we had clean towels every day. There is no no lift but don't let this put you off if you're able to climb a few stairs.. thank you for your welcome and service.

I booked this hotel mainly because of its location - very near to paddington station and having lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I was pleasantly surprised to be given a room on the ground floor which was great as I had a heavy suitcase. The room was compact but enough for me (a big guy) and it was cleaned each day to a good standard. The only slight negative was that my room was next to the stairs down to the breakfast room so was a little noisy in the morning, also you can hear the rumble of the underground train passing by every 5 minutes or so. Even so I would recommend this hotel and would be my choice next time I am in London

We had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Indigo, as our room was plagued with problems that the front desk had little sympathy for and lots of excuses. Half our stay (4 out of 8 nights) we went without AC - 4 sleepless nights in a room with temperatures in the 80s. Every time we reported it to the front desk, we were given a different excuse - from “it’s a known issue”, to “the whole neighborhood block is having problems (which made zero sense as AC in every other part of the hotel), to “maintenance is looking into it”. One morning, our room lost all power, and again, after a sleepless night, we made our way to the front desk, where we were told it was a neighborhood power grid issue. I explained that made no sense, as the maid next door was vacuuming and no where else in the hotel had lost power. Thankfully maintenance came to investigate (after much arguing with the front desk) and he said the card key controller that powers the room was broken, hence no power. A whole morning was lost to this, and we missed our prepaid excursion. Another morning the safe would not open - which is a horrible feeling with all our cash and passports locked away. Again, more time wasted waiting for someone to come and fix - maintenance told us not to use as the safe was old and broken. My biggest complaint was the lack of concern and attention from the front desk. No one seemed to know or care what we were going through, and we were made to feel like a nuisance when we had serious problems with our room. Upon checkout, we were asked how our stay was. I said it was honestly very disappointing, and explained all the issues we had. The front desk replied “Oh, I’m sorry. Would you like a copy of your invoice?”. Upon our return home, I received an email from the hotel inviting me to share feedback on our stay. I documented all the above, and asked for a follow-up reply. Almost immediately after it was sent, I received a form letter reply. As a loyal IHG Gold Elite member, I purposely booked this property over Marriott Bonvoy, even though this stay cost us much more. After this unacceptable experience, I will be spending future hotel stays with Marriott Bonvoy, where I am respected as a guest.

The hotel (lodge) met our needs. Some minor maintenance issues needed attending to. No plug in bathroom, no top on soap dispenser. Only one teaspoon and a single milk supplied. No bathmat or hand towels, although reception provided these when requested. Breakfast OK once a school group departed. Perhaps a separate 30 minute block set aside for groups? Food was basic but sufficient. Overall, the stay represented reasonable value for money.
