Exceptional staff that went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay and that we took full advantage of everything Derry had to offer. We arrived early and they gladly stored our luggage until we could check-in. When we came back they had the luggage in our room for us. Very clean rooms. The breakfast was made to order, very good, and well worth the value.

I have to say I have been going to Da Vincis for years, wasnt sure about the change, me just being over familiar with the norm, I have to say we went to the restaurant for our Sunday lunch last week, Leona and staff were amazing. Leona is a great front of house in the restaurant, very welcoming, very genuine and professional Yea teething problems but when u feel like nothings a problem and the service and food was amazing it just fell into place, when the staff make it their business to make u feel special and I’m sure that was carried out with all customers in the restaurant was great. Went to the bar and Les is an absolute diamond, breath of fresh air, I have to say the changes are good and very welcome, keep up the great transformation as I’m sure this is only the start of a new generation in da vincis.

The Chamberlain House is one of the newest hotels in Londonderry, having been renovated in 2023. From the hotel, Eglinton Airport is just 15km away. There's plenty to do nearby, with St Eugene's Cathedral, Derry Girls Mural and Museum of Free Derry all within a short distance. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Londonderry hotel can make use of the parking facilities.

Good location. Great staff very friendly, helpful etc. We had an issue with our TV which the lady came & sorted out in good time. A couple of ladies came in drunk about 2.30 am and who were quite loud. I had to go out & ask them to be quiet as I had kids asleep. They went to their rooms then & it was quiet for the rest of the night. Breakfast was lovely. I couldn't fault the full breakfast set us up for the day!

Booked Abbey B&B after being recommended by friend, have to say it was spot on , double room was ideal with en-suite with power shower, clean fresh bedding& very quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked with as much tea & coffee as wanted Lovely sitting areas inside & out which was nice as we had perfect weather House was perfectly located to historical areas of Derry & 5 minute walk to town centre. Seamus ,Helen & Ellie were perfect hosts very welcoming and friendly Would I stay here again ? Only if they got nicer biscuits instead of those ginger snaps Mary & Gordon

PPengguna TetamuNo 8 The Townhouse The location was central. Checking in was very easy through the use of a keypad. The room was very small and in need of decorating. The furnishings and bedding were very tired. The bathroom was clean but the quality of both the towels were substandard and badly frayed. There was no sink plug and the bath plug leaked. Basic tea and coffee supplies were available within the room but were not replenished during our stay. Our room was at the back of the property, and the pigeons in the derelict building behind were noisy and significantly impacted on our sleep. Breakfast was very basic - it would be a stretch to call it continental. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this accommodation to others visiting Derry.

Available staff were generally good, with exceptions at both ends of the spectrum. Slow service characterised both the bar and restaurant, although the food eventually provided was excellent, especially dinner. Breakfast was fine, but the absence of a printed menu is an odd omission for a 4-star hotel. Such concerns, though, were minor in the context of other issues. One member of staff to be commended is Emee (spelling?) for her efforts to address a stressful situation. Having locked the hotel room safe pre-dinner, it was impossible to open it afterwards. Emee visited our room on two occasions, making great efforts to open the safe using both manual keys, and an ‘override’ code. The safe contained passports, mobile phone, and car key. Despite Emee’s efforts, no-one else was available to give her, or us, any practical help, or even instructions on opening a locked Everglades hotel safe. We were left with the ‘promise’ of a maintenance person being available from 08.00 am next morning. Luckily, however, after various attempts to open the safe, I tried yet again at 22.00 hrs, and it opened. Presumably (?) this was because enough time had elapsed between the original malfunction, and application of the override code. Had someone been available to provide this information, or give practical assistance, an unnecessarily prolonged, and stressful experience would have been avoided. Next morning, I spoke with the 'main' lady at Reception, to commend Emee's efforts, and also register our disappointment. Not even a token apology was offered, although there was an 'assurance’ that, if we'd had an early flight, a maintenance person would have been summoned last night to drill open the safe! So, in the absence of a reasonable response (a simple, 'sorry' would have sufficed) from politely conveying concerns verbally to Reception, the obvious follow-up was to later contact management in writing. Having since contacted the Duty Manager, a welcome, considered reply was received, which conveyed acceptance of the failings highlighted, and an apology on behalf of the hotel. Hopefully, therefore, any future guests will now not endure a similar experience to ours, albeit that any of our future visits to Derry will not include a stay at the Everglades Hotel.

VVenture02788744126First time staying here as I heard good reviews and I got a good deal in a Junior Suite. We came for our Wedding Anniversary so nice opportunity to stay in the heart of Derry. Great location and views from our room were stunning. Staff are very nice and very welcoming. However, the Hotel is a little tired and at best, really needs a deep clean and completely redecorated . Carpets look tired and grubby. Breakfast wasn't great either to be honest. One coffee machine was broken and both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The hotel gets loads of big bus tours and it's really busy. It just needs a good overhaul. We've stayed everywhere else in Derry and probably won't be staying here again. Which is a real shame.

Received a message from serendipity to say how they did food and fully stocked bar etc just the morning of the day we arrived yay. On arrival told bar is closed .. oh apparently staff shortage BUT the owner is there telling us this Okay 🤷🏼♂️ Booked a triple room and again-says triple and single bed but it was a SMALL double and a single BUT again no problem as we are family 🤷🏼♂️ Head out in to Derry,,, great place Next morning yay breakfast Head down and only offered continental ,,, nice selection but really !! Lady that showed us to the table said no cooked breakfast as it’s during the week and they only did cooked at the weekend 🤣 owner said sorry no chef .. what ?? But you could do it !! Nearly forgot.. says parking 👍 yes there is but it is pot luck as it is on a residential road 🤷🏼♂️ Would I stay here again or recommend this place … NO Plus point it is within an easy walking distance of the city. I don’t like to leave negative feedback but the owner made no effort and just said staff shortages and okay fair enough but how about putting it on the website or email so the customer knows what not to expect .
