The bed was also very comfortable. We were walking distance to the lake and local restaurants and the pub and just a short drive down to the beach. I’d be more than happy to stay here again.

The place was clean and recently renovated although the bathroom renovation was of poor standard with band aid fixes between old and new. A couple of hours later lots of German cockroaches were crawling out of everywhere and the next day although request was made no one cleaned the room until I walked in to the office to request fresh towels. The heater air condition was not very effective. The owners are not very friendly nor welcoming. The second night my son and his family also came to stay the night. A couple of people came at 1.30am in the morning banging on the doors turning door knobs and asking the door to be opened. No one was answering the office landline nor the mobile. My daughter in law called the police. When I raised this with the owners they said people had come in their cars drunk and he had called the police. Not a safe place to stay no gates or security. Rating of place out of 5 stars is a 1.

Really homey vibe with great staff which accommodate your every need. Washing services free and pool table/ common room is a good size. Plenty of room to store your food and oven, microwave, toaster and stove to cook with. The rooms are spacious with big lockers and the no food or drink in the dorms is a good rule. Safe and secure so would definitely recommend to anyone passing as the prices are extremely reasonable especially if you’re coming as a duo or bigger group.
