Really enjoyed our recent stay at HLR. We stayed on the adult enclave side and enjoyed the peaceful, laidback, quiet vibe of the resort. Exactly what we enjoy while vacationing. Property was clean and well kept. Food and drink were good and plentiful. Enjoyed the snacks provided in the enclave lounge. Beach was beautiful and didn't have difficulty getting chairs each morning. Loved the shade provided by the large palapas. More than anything, we enjoyed the friendly, personable staff who really make the experience. Everyone was so warm and friendly from the moment we arrived- from bell services and reception, servers, bartenders, hostesses, house and groundskeepers. I wish I could name them all. Nearly everyone we passed greeted us with a smile and a hello. Byron M, was a wonderful butler, assisting with the needs of our group, helping make reservations for dinner and unexpectedly making us the most delicious pineapple drinks. Diomedy took great care of us on the beach, making sure the drinks were plentiful. We enjoyed seeing and talking to her each day! Widely (not sure if this is spelled correctly) at Sakura and many of the other restaurants, who was so pleasant and fun, and we greatly enjoyed running into her in multiple restaurants during the week. All the staff at Noor for breakfast and Mare at lunchtime, hostess and servers, who are so good at details and by the second that would bring us things before we had to ask, remembering drink and condiment preferences. La administradora de la cabaña típica Maura nos indicó que ya no trabaja con Trip.com, que únicamente lo hacen con Booking o Airbnb porque no les cobran comisiones. Cuando llegamos nos indicaron que no teníamos reservación, que cancelemos si lo habíamos hecho en Trip.com, aún estamos esperando el reembolso de Trip.com y tuvimos que pagar la estadía en efectivo.
