Leshiba Wilderness

Wow, we just loved our stay at Leshiba Wilderness. Such a gorgeous retreat run by a wonderful team. Especially loved the chance to walk in the wild, the birds and the general game. What a relaxing treat!

Leshiba feels like another planet. We stayed in the luxury self catering chalet. Everything was perfect, with little extras like sherry in the room, lemon, honey and fresh ginger for your tea. We really enjoyed the small pool in the heat. It was great to watch the wildlife from the chalet. The game drive was very special, and when we returned late, our campfire was already made for us. We would go back anytime, it's a very special place, we loved every second of it..

My wife and I stayed at the Duvha unit in the Venda Art Village. We decided to do self-catering. The unit was incredible! The plunge pool was just what we needed to cool off during the day. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The beautiful bathroom had a great bath with a stunning view and a fantastic outdoor shower. The kitchen has everything you required to prepare your own meals. The unit has great views from all windows and the patio area looks onto a plain that often had game. We hiked on the reserve and the scenery, animals and birds were spectacular. It is a very a peaceful reserve with hardly any sign of human infrastructure. We also did a sunset game drive which I can highly recommend. The guide, Peter, was very knowledgeable about the ecology and the history of the area. You will not regret staying at Leshiba! We can't wait to go again!

Leshiba is a truly beautiful property, teeming with wildlife large and small. We had a wonderful experience in a stunning lodge looked after by warm, friendly staff

We spent a few days here at the Venda Art Lodge and is was pure bliss! We wanted to stop the time so we could lengthen our stay. The staff is so friendly, the view is breathtaking, the food was excellent. The houses are very complete. We really enjoyed our stay!!

August 2024 We had the loveliest time with our 3 kids (10,8,5). Stunning views, very friendly people, amazing game drives and walks. An absolute gem. We saw lots of game: giraffes, zebra’s, baboons and more. The food was really good, although as a vegetarian they mostly served us meat substitutes like soy sausages, where I prefer nicely made vegetables diners.
