Las instalaciones son impresionantes, nada más hermoso que el patio central con el pequeño estanque y el jardín, además de la zona de la gran piscina común, ¡un 10! El desayuno tiene una gran calidad, mucha variedad en su oferta y siempre dispuestos a prepararte un plato más contundente. Recomendada la tostada con aguacate y huevo escalfado, una gran forma de empezar el día. La habitación que nos asignaron nos pareció una de las mejores del hotel, con varios espacios separados y una piscina privada. Para quedarnos aquí muchos más días. Deberían mejorar la conexión wifi en esa zona del hotel, dado que apenas pudimos conectarnos en la habitación durante los días que estuvimos. Al tener que trabajar en algún momento, esto representó un problema, que rápidamente olvidé con un chapuzón en la piscina. Gracias a todo el personal por su trabajo extraordinario.

This might be my favorite hotel experience to date. Amantaka created a genuinely special space, making us feel like truly valued guests. The property is located in the heart of the city so it’s easy to see the sights and catch dinner reservations. The hotel has a complimentary tuk tuk, which makes things even easier. Our suite came with all kinds of perks, including 2 free meals and a complimentary airport transfer (I hate when super expensive hotels charge you for pickup— it seems petty, lol). Amantaka also had the coolest amenity that we’ve ever seen: FREE LAUNDRY! It’s so pragmatic and thoughtful, especially since we’d been traveling for weeks before we arrived to Laos. We took a sunset cruise on the Amantaka boat, which we highly recommend. It comes with snacks and we ordered some wine from the hotel. Amantaka staffed the whole thing with professionalism. Very fun and very beautiful. On my husband’s birthday, we ended up going out for dinner instead of staying at the hotel. The Amantaka kitchen actually stayed open late to sing him happy birthday and bring him a dessert upon our return. It was so sweet and considerate. We would never ask anyone to do such a thing, but the fact they went above and beyond was extremely touching. This is a true 5 star experience. We can’t thank them enough for showing us the beauty of Luang Prabang.

Room was amazing - spacious, clean and modern. The hotel is on beautiful grounds with lovely views. Adult n children bikes are available for use within the property. Something which can be improved is the staff's understanding of English. I ordered room service twice and on both occasions, they had to call me back to confirm my orders and still they got it wrong. Also at breakfast, the staff manning the live stations did not have a good understanding of what is offered - i picked an item ”french toast” stated on the menu and the cook could not understand me. I pointed to the item on the menu, she went to check and came back to say it is not available.

Just came back from a 3 night stay at Kiridara. Overall a pleasant stay. Positives: -The bed was very large and comfortable. Great pillows and mattress. -Stayed in the King Suite - a very spacious room, well appointed with big balcony, bath, and nice view into town -Free shuttle service offered into town. Available on a moment's notice and they will drop you wherever you ask. They will even come and pick you up in town if you call them. -Very friendly front desk staff - helpful and always ask about your day -The manager was also very kind, was very visible and always stopped to check in with how things were going. -It is well known by locals so the tuk tuk drivers always knew exactly where to take us when asked Negatives: -The fitness centre was not very well appointed. Could definitely use an update on the equipment -There was not much hot water - the water would run cold before the bath was even half filled up, shower often went cold after a few minutes use -Ongoing construction happening during our stay as they are rebuilding the deck. Was a bit of a nuisance. When laying by the pool, the smoke from welding would drift over us, workers smoking while we were trying to relax, and banging noises beginning early in the morning (6:30 AM) -The pool bar is meant to be open from 2 - 8 PM, with happy hour from 5-6, but there was rarely anyone staffing the bar. One day when the manager came out, someone rushed to the bar and switched on the music. Would have been nice to have had the availability and ambience of music while we were relaxing by the pool. -Massage: My partner and I each book a massage on separate days. In both of our sessions, the masseuse would leave the room for 10-15 minutes at a time without any word about what was happening or why. Though we paid for 100 minutes, we ended up getting far less because of these long pauses. -Small complaint, but for the price we paid relative to most properties in Luang Prabang, I would have expected higher quality toilet paper - it was basically sandpaper. Had to buy our own. -The breakfast buffet was disappointing - food was not restocked and the hot food was cold by the time we would arrive around 8:30-9. Some periodic freshening up of the buffet would have been a nice touch. -The safe in our room did not work. -The instant coffee in the room was not restocked each day during cleaning. A small thing, but it's a lot of these little touches that make a big difference in a stay. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are a few small issues that need to be resolved to really make the property a truly wonderful experience. There's a lot of potential here.

The staff were lovely and always greeted you with a smile. The pool area and gardens were well maintained. The rooms were a little dated and although nothing wrong with them I think I would opt to stay in one of the small hotels or villas along the nam khan next time rather than this little extra out of the centre. Breakfast choices were good with a nice non sugary muesli, milk & yoghurt, nice cafe latte and an egg station plus toast, croissants and Asia stir-fry dishes. They had free bikes you could use, although I didn't see any helmets. As noted, for what we paid it was 'ok'.

Great stop for a few nights in Vang Vien. Hotel couldn't be more central. Close to the best bars and restaurants and right on the night market but piecefull and quiet. Just a few minutes walk from the minibus terminal. Special thanks to Duong (David) for all his help with arranging a delivery to my next hotel in Lunag Prabang with personal items prohibited on the train. He, and his team, were fantastic throughout our stay with and should be praised for their hard work and diligence in makeing our stay both memorable, comfortable and fun. We would highly recommend and at any point in the future should we be in VV we would be sure to book in again.

I spent three nights here in January. The hotel is simple but the wooden staircase, floors, etc. are lovely and adds a bit of charm and character that is often lacking from other budget accommodations. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well-appointed. It had more amenities than I typically come across. Such as a refrigerator, electric kettle, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bedding, pillows, linen, and towels were in good condition. The hot water and wi-fi worked well. Unfortunately, the room was very small with no place for luggage. To solve this problem I choose a room with a balcony and used the balcony as a living room and luggage storage area. The bathroom was also problematic. Whoever designed it had no idea what they were doing. The vanity was far too big with the wrong type of faucet for that particular sink. The bathroom door only opened halfway. The toilet was crammed in behind the vanity. It would have been very awkward for large people to use. The walk-in room rate was quoted in USD but I wanted to pay by credit card. After the currency conversion, and 3% C.C. fee, the room cost me $39 USD per night. At this price, the hotel really only warrants three out of five dots on the TA scale.

This hotel is perfect. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Steve, the hotel manager, and given a welcome drink whilst he gave us a 10 minute introduction to Luang Prabang and what to see. He also described local tours available, and offered to purchase train tickets on our behalf for our onward travel to Vang Vieng. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the major attractions; night market, Wat Xienthong and Phousi Hill, as well as directly opposite one one the most highly rated (and delicious) restaurants in Luang Prabang, Bamboo Garden. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the added extras of a high class hotel. Breakfast is chosen from a menu, and is served in a pleasant dining area. Unlimited coffee and tea is available throughout the day. After 3 thoroughly enjoyable nights we left on our way to the train station in air conditioned transport arranged by Steve. The quality of the hotel and the personal service always on hand made our stay in Luang Prabang extra special. This hotel is highly recommended !

I attended the property on the afternoon of July 10 to check-in. I had booked the bungalow for 5 nights. I was advised by the owner that the bungalow was not available because the roof needed fixing. I stated that I had booked 3 weeks prior & he had ample opportunity to message me & advise me of this. He later changed his story & told me that his son was living in the bungalow. He then allocated me a lesser quality room for the same price. I complained & stated that it was not the room that I had booked. He then showed me another room, which I reluctantly accepted because I was tired & needed desperately to rest. Two hours later after unpacking my bag a knock came at the door & his son was there asking me to move rooms again. I refused. I made it clear to the owner before I took the 2nd room that I would not move again. I had already lugged my bag up a flight of stairs. I was tired after traveling and had not been allocated the room I booked. The son continued to harass me by beating on the door. I spoke with him again and stated that according to previous reviews the establishment had deceived other people by not giving them the room that they booked. I also indicated that his father had lied to me about the bungalow, initially stating that the roof needed fixing & then later saying the bungalow was occupied. Some reviews have noted that lesser quality rooms were dispensed & were not the rooms that people had booked. I made it clear that it was dishonest and deceitful to not give people the room that they booked & to allocate them to a lesser quality room for the same price. The attitude seemed to be that...you will get what you are given regardless of what you may have booked. After being harassed & spoken to with total disrespect I packed my bag & left. It was hot & I had to carry my bag back down the stairs, find other accommodation & walk to transport. The entire episode left me extremely upset & out of pocket as I had to pay an additional taxi fare. I am 63 years old & I felt very threatened by the son's demanding & harassing behaviour. I have since been advised that the property noted me as a ”no show” & as a result I will be charged a $16USD fee. I refuse to pay this fee & booking.com needs to look very closely at the honesty of this property owner. By listing me as a no-show I have not been given the opportunity to write a review about this dishonest scam of a place, additionally, I note that as of today July 11, the establishment is no longer taking bookings via booking.com (I wonder why??)

This hotel and Laos in general were a complete and utter positive surprise and experience. Booked last minute due to prior flight cancellations in Bangkok, this was a real treat. From the moment we stepped in (prior to checkin time I’ll add) we were warmly greeted by the team with a lovely welcome beverage and a room upgrade with early checkin. Next the staff helped us arrange our entire 24h in Luang Prabang to ensure we maximised the trip, organising every detail from the driver to towels for the waterfalls. The room was gorgeous, upstairs overlooking the pond with nice touches including free local beer. The bathroom was gorgeous with nice scented oil. Breakfast was good. Everything about this trip and hotel surpassed our expectations, especially for the price point. Highly highly recommend.

鬧中取靜的合院酒店，建築非常好看，中間是泳池景觀，泳池旁邊保留了幾顆參天的古樹，讓人有一種很強的庇護感。關鍵詞簡約典雅，傳承了安縵的氣質，但價格上可以有更多的年輕人可選擇體驗。看到有很多人也給出挑剔的評價，但我想説的是沒有任何一家酒店是絕對完美的，對我個人來説度假產品，服務設施完善，但也不需要過度服務。我覺得這一點這裏已經做的很好了。Adrian Zecha説過:“這世上沒有一塵不變的東西，一個人必須去積極擁抱新的生活方式的變化。”也是我們應該有的人生態度。下次還會選擇。

Had a wonderful stay here -- it's a small, family run B&B-style hotel within easy walking distance from town. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, although for a view you need to stay upstairs (downstairs rooms are a bit dark). Highlights included the friendly staff, amazing breakfast (which is included), free water (which was very helpful given the hot weather at this time of year) and efficient laundry service. They also kindly stored a bag of mine for two nights while I was out trekking on a tour. Would certainly stay again, it's a great deal for a wonderful hotel!

I've been dreaming of coming to Laos ever since and finally it has come to fruition last Dec 2022 when we had the chance to visit this charming place in particular - Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site and was the former Royal Capital of Laos. With its charming and unique blend of Laotian and French culture and an abundance of natural resources surrounding the city nothing could get better than this. Located on a peninsula between Mekong and Nam Khan river about 1000 m high, it has a cool and pleasant climate especially during the Winter months. And indeed we made the right decision by finally visiting this place. Upon checking which hotel to book there are so many options and locations to choose from - Riverside, Old Town, and Town Center. There were also plenty of affordable hotels to choose from which have Excellent reviews. Affordability is our next criteria when picking the place and luckily there is an offer that day in Agoda for Villa Mahasok which will only cost us 40 SGD per night with breakfast for a Superior room with King bed and Tub. Not to mention, this is just one of the 3 star hotels in town which offers a pool - a draw for us. So we booked it right away and lucky that we did it. As laid back and relaxing it could get Villa Mahasok is the perfect place to stay if you would like to experience a truly authentic Laotian experience. Located at the Town Center, it is 600 m away or about 10 mins walk from Luang Prabang Night Market and the Mekong River but we didn't mind walking around town because it's so charming, beautiful, relaxing and a very pleasant weather really completes the package. There is a never a spot in town where something or someone will surprise you especially for first timers like us. The town. First thing we observed upon entering the hotel lobby is to remove your footwear. There is a shoe compartment on the right side of the hotel entrance. Check-in is simple and easy, they just took my passport, scanned and off we go. The staff assisted us in carrying our bags and we passed through their idyllic open-air courtyard where the lap pool and pool sun loungers are located. There are outdoor seats and tables located at this spot as well ideal for having coffee, beer, reading and just chilling out. At the other side of the pool area there is a short stair made of red tiles which leads you to a couple of elevated rooms located out here facing the garden with a huge and lovely Lotus pond filled with Lotus, Water Lilies and lots of different plants and flower river species in a dazzling show of Green, Pink and White colours. There is also an open-air hammock with cushions for relaxing and resting on the other end of the pond. At the right side of the pond is the dining area where breakfast buffet is served. We booked a Superior Double room with Tub facing the garden from the 2nd floor. I have visited Luang Prabang several times and Elephant Boutique Hotel is always my top choice. The rooms are very comfortable and always incredibly clean. The AC/fan are great and the water is hot and a good pressure. Breakfast is delicious and very good value — lots of coffee, juice, fruit, western or Lao choices. At night, it is quiet and you get a great night’s sleep. Easy to come back later (for bowling…) or leave early in the morning (for the monks etc) if needed. Most importantly, the owners are fantastic. They are very welcoming, trustworthy and honest. They can take care of any request: tours, transport (trains and buses), laundry, money exchange, city tips etc. They have always proved reliable. I would reccomend this place to anyone visiting Luang Prabang — value for money it is fantastic.

對這家酒店評價較少，我住了一週，給大家介紹全面一些。首先酒店位置非常不錯，在湄公河與南康河之間，前後有王宮和香通寺等主要景點。房屋結構還好，不知是不是這裏普遍行規，酒店並不像國內那樣，花裏胡哨分好多種房型，即使房型有差異定價不會有差異。房間裝飾比較清爽，客房面積比較緊湊，衞生狀況不錯，但是房間使用的牙刷手紙等消耗品質量比較低質。淋浴熱熱水沒問題，可是水盆是沒有熱水的，不知其它酒店怎樣。工作人員態度還好，個別女員工見客人不打招呼繼續看手機，看來缺少培訓。前臺中文交流不行，藉助翻譯機勉強應對，還好住酒店需交流的也不多。早餐無功無過，每天都一樣。我住的前兩天同樓層住着中國家庭帶着孩子，太鬧騰門也關得老響，這個怪酒店有點勉強，順便提醒一下遊客也應注意自身形象，共同維護公共場合安靜。後兩天不知當地有什麼活動，到午夜才安靜下來。 總體而言，琅勃拉邦入住老城區都是老房子民宿為主，這家酒店的地理位置優勢及基本設施都還算可以的，所以生意還是不錯。附近其他民宿也比較多，我從琅勃拉邦回程去火車站的巴士票是從其他民宿定的，5萬基普一人，比較實惠，而這家酒店聯繫的是包車要價30萬基普。我的感覺從綜合性價比來説衹能算是一般吧。供大家參考吧。

這家青旅位置非常好，就在市中心鬧市區，吃喝玩樂非常方便，旅店正對面就有一家非常不錯的餐廳，物美價廉，應該是古城最便宜也很合國人胃口的歺廳。夜市、早市、王宮、普西山、洋人街、佈施點都在附近，前有湄公河，後有南康河，這位置相當不錯。這麼低價位還包早餐，而且都是廚房現做的早餐，有六個品種可選擇，還配有水果，量雖不多，店家夠誠意。早上還有免費咖啡。 這家青旅很小，好像衹有三間房，設施比較簡陋，但衞生還是蠻乾淨的。老闆和員工都很好，會幫你安排去高鐵站和機場的中巴票，也會幫你安排去光西瀑布或其他旅遊景點的車輛。真的是超棒的旅店，十分推薦。

Golden Lotus Namkhan View is located by the Namkhan river in Luang Prabang. It is not too far away from the night market, the Royal Palace, the mount Phu Si, and many beautiful temples. They also provide tours and motorbike rentals. The rooms don't have a window but a glass door instead. There was a noisy ceiling fan that couldn't be switched off so we had to turn off the power and sleep with no A/C. Our room had been overbooked and we were given an inferior room without any explanation or compensation. The breakfast provided wasn't too good but there were good coffee shops and food stalls not too far away. I would recommend it for couples or solo travelers but not for families.

I stayed here for one night as part of a larger Lao road trip. Having been constructed in 1937 during the French Colonial period, the building (house number 323), is a UNESCO-protected heritage site. Beautiful local hardwood is used throughout the structure and adds a level of charm that many other accommodations lack. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The hot water, refrigerator, air-conditioning, and wi-fi worked well. The bedding, linen, pillows, towels, etc. were in good condition. I paid $27 USD per night on hotels.com, apparently, the walk-in rate for this same period is $26 USD per night. This is a fair price for this style of budget accommodation. I would stay here again for sure.

Excelente ubicación! A 1 minuto a pie de la calle principal de Luang Prabang! Habitaciones muy amplias aunque el baño era más austero, se veía más sencillo. Hotel muy tranquilo pese a estar en pleno centro. Las habitaciones estaban agrupadas en pequeños bloques alrededor del patio central donde se servía el desayuno. El desayuno no era muy variado, en realidad había quizás dos opciones para elegir aunque una de ellas era tortilla recién hecha muy sabrosa.

The staff are wonderful. It is located one step away from the main street of Luang Prabang, and is in a very good location. The facilities are well-equipped, and the staff are attentive and take care of any inconveniences caused by the location of Luang Prabang. I stayed for 5 nights instead of 4, and the hotel staff took care of everything, including organizing tours around the area and arranging trains to my next destination. They also sell SIM cards, and even when I had trouble connecting, they kindly responded and solved the problem. If you come to Luang Prabang, we recommend this accommodation.

入住這家度假村是老撾行程的最後一站，度過了非常難忘的兩晚，相比鎮上的酒店我們更喜歡這裏。房間設備：我們住的是河邊的帳篷，要注意進出拉好拉鍊防蚊，除了牙刷要向前台要。沒有電話，一切聯繫依靠度假村自己的app，其它設施齊全。 活動體驗：入住期間付費體驗了皮划艇、落日遊船和按摩。皮划艇的感受非常棒，嚮導很專業沿途風景優美，總共兩小時，價格是25$/人（不含服務費）；落日遊船是一個長尾小船，衹有嚮導和船伕，沒有其它遊客，沿途景色安靜秀麗，大概45分鐘，18$/人，含一杯雞尾酒。我們也體驗了湄公河邊42$/人的船，相較之下，算是各有特色。 餐飲：蔬菜都是自己養殖的，價格合理，味道很不錯，西式和地方菜系都超出預期。 出行：度假村靠近機場，離鎮上十幾分鍾車程，離火車站20分鐘車程，有免費的tutu車接送，班次不算多，也有摩託可以租（當然價格比鎮上高不少）。 總之，下次若再來琅勃拉邦，依然會選擇這裏。

Surprisingly large hotel. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with all the amenities you'd expect. I booked and arrived late but no problems checking in. A little way out of the old town but still within walking distance. Also good access to supermarkets and the airport. Very good value accommodation for Luang Prabang.

What a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants. Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed. Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required. There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.
