We booked two apartments each for 4 adults in each (2 couples per apartment). The description of the sleeping arrangements was Bedroom: Large Double Bed and Living Room: Sofa Bed. Upon arrival both apartments were found to be open plan with only a private bathroom. This was totally unsuitable (see photo) for unrelated couples. The Manager claimed that this was our error and we should have known that both were studio flats. When shown the accommodation booking on my phone she just refused to acknowledge any issue existed. When asked to rectify it she claimed that no other apartments were free. I shoes her a booking site screenshot saying there was free accommodation but claimed it was incorrect. We therefore had to arrange additional accommodation at another location to enable privacy for two couples. The owners have been contacted by our booking provider but remain completely unhelpful and unwilling to offer any compensation or apology. This is a clear case of mi-description and I would advise other travellers to check carefully before they stay at this property. The apartments are quite good but the customer service and attitude when faced with an issue or complaint is appalling.

Decent location just outside the walls. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Linen and towels clean. Breakfast was ok. Major limitation during our stay was the air conditioner wasn’t working in the main bedroom. Staff initially dismissive of suggestion that air conditioner had failed. Once accepting of situation staff tried to locate a technician - who couldn’t fix the problem. However staff were unable to locate a fan or something to make sleep bearable at night. This was problematic on the second floor of an apartment in summer. Otherwise it is a reasonable place to stay.

Perfect location just a short walk from the old city of Lucca. Nice clean spacious apartment with private parking. All of the reception staff were very helpful and spoke good English. Great osteria nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Struttura curatissima ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,il parcheggio incluso nel prezzo un plus, personale gentilissimo pulizia accurata Per visitare Lucca è l'ideale essendo a pochi minuti dal centro storico, abbiamo approfittato del parcheggio anche il giorno della partenza

Siamo stati ospiti di questo hotel per molti anni e, se dovessi valutare le esperienze passate, avrei assegnato sicuramente un 5 pieno. In particolare, Sara, che ci accoglieva sempre con grande gentilezza e professionalità, ha reso ogni soggiorno a Lucca un vero piacere. Tuttavia, quest’anno l’esperienza è stata completamente diversa, al punto da meritare un voto pari a zero. La sensazione è che l’hotel abbia dato priorità solo al guadagno, a discapito dell’attenzione verso il cliente. Al momento della prenotazione, ci era stato assicurato che la stanza assegnata sarebbe stata adatta per cinque persone. In realtà, si trattava di una camera progettata per due, con soluzioni di fortuna davvero scomode: due di noi hanno dovuto dormire su un piccolo divano letto vecchio e malandato, e uno addirittura su una brandina con un materasso di soli 6 cm di spessore. Inoltre, non c’era nessun cuscino aggiuntivo a disposizione nell’armadio. Un altro problema riguarda l’uso del parcheggio. Ogni anno ci era sempre stato consentito di utilizzare il parcheggio dell’hotel fino al pomeriggio del giorno del check-out, ma quest’anno non ci è stata comunicata la nuova regola che impedisce ai clienti di usufruirne. Al nostro arrivo, la nuova receptionist ci ha dato il permesso di tenere l’auto fino alle 15:00, ma con grande sorpresa siamo stati contattati alle 11:30 e ci è stato chiesto di rimuovere immediatamente il veicolo. Questo ci ha causato un grave disagio: non trovando parcheggio esternamente, abbiamo perso i soldi del biglietto per l’ultimo giorno di Lucca Comics e abbiamo dovuto annullare tutte le attività programmate, incluso il pranzo al ristorante. Un comportamento così poco serio è inaccettabile. Dopo tanti anni di fedeltà, avete perso dei clienti abituali. Buona giornata.

Andiamo ogni anno a Lucca in occasione del Comics. Siamo un gruppo di amici che fino all'anno scorso hanno avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questa struttura. Fino all'anno scorso, perche quest'anno l'esperienza è stata disastrosa. Cominciamo dalla stanza , una quintupla , per la modica cifra di 1650 euro per 3 notti. Una stanza con un matrimoniale , un lettino minuscolo con un materasso spesso come un foglio di carta , e quello che dovrebbe essere stato il secondo matrimoniale , era un letto di una piazza e mezza di fortuna, anch'esso con materasso stile foglio di carta, scricchiolante e scomodissimo. Doverosa premessa, negli anni precedenti siamo stati seguiti sempre da Sara , gentile , affabile , e attenta alle nostre esigenze. Quest'anno siamo stati seguiti da Valentina , l'esatto contrario. Arrogante , supponente , e assolutamente inadatta al contesto di una struttura che dovrebbe mettere il cliente al primo posto. Anche la pulizia ha lasciato a desiderare, in 5 ci siamo trovati a dover utilizzare gli ascougamani del giorno prima perche non sostituiti nella " pulizia " giornaliera dell'ambiente. Ma tenetevi forte ora viene il bello. Avete presente il lucca comics giusto? Dove ogni istante è fatto di programmazione pregressa per far si che tutto quadri alla perfezione giusto? Ok. Tema parcheggio. Arriviamo e parcheggiamo la nostra auto. Nella mail del lontano febbraio , la struttura comunica che la macchina sarebbe stata custodita sino " alla nostra partenza " , ora , il giorno del check out scopriamo sempre dall'angelica sig'ra Valentina , che la macchina va tolta perche i nuovi clienti in arrivo avrebbero dovuto usufruire del posto. Sgomenti , chiediamo informazioni , e Valentina ci assicura di tenerla sino alle 15. Meglio di niente. Successivamente in giro sulle mura di lucca , sempre la fantastica Valentina ci chiama , alle ore 11.04 per informarci della necessità di togliere IMMEDIATAMENTE l'auto. Una giornata a cercare parcheggio , invano, eventi disdetti all'ultimo, dai firmacopie ai ristoranti. Delusi , ripartiamo alle 12 e non in serata. Buttiamo una giornata a causa della negligenza , non curanza , arroganza e supponenza di chi dovrebbe gestire questa struttura che dal 2017 ci ha ospitati. Forse i nostri soldi non vi cambieranno nulla, ma non ci rivolgeremo mai piu a voi. Mai piu. Dispiace , ma la nostra serenità viene prima di tutto e tutti. Cordialmente

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura in occasione del Lucca Comics. Il costo del soggiorno ovviamente era maggiorato per via dell’evento, quindi sproporzionato rispetto al servizio offerto e alla location che tuttavia è pulita, gradevole nel design, posizionata in un quartiere tranquillo e davvero ad un passo dalle mura. Il nostro soggiorno ha coinciso con una violenta perturbazione atmosferica che si è abbattuta su Toscana e Liguria, pertanto durante il viaggio la receptionist ci ha contattati più volte probabilmente temendo che tardassimo sull’ora massima del check-in 18.30 in cui presumo lei avrebbe terminato il turno di lavoro. Arrivati all’ora prevista (17.30) la receptionist ci ha accompagnati in camera, è entrata con noi, ci ha mostrato l’alloggio e ha acceso la luce in bagno come a controllare che tutto fosse a posto ma non appena uscita ci siamo accorti che il pavimento del bagno era zuppo d’acqua e il calorifero come bagnato di condensa. Quando poco dopo, alle 18, siamo usciti per visitare il centro e prendere un aperitivo, volevamo segnalare la situazione e chiedere rimedio ma la reception era già chiusa, pertanto l’abbiamo segnalata telefonicamente perché ci dispiaceva dover usare gli asciugamani per sistemare il pavimento. La receptionist ci ha comunicato che sarebbe rientrata a sistemare ma alle 21.30, tornati in camera, abbiamo trovato tutto come prima così abbiamo asciugato il pavimento utilizzando la metà degli asciugamani in dotazione. Nella notte intanto il calorifero del bagno ha continuato a perdere acqua di condensa. Nella struttura la colazione viene servita in camera e viene ordinata la sera prima, servita su un vassoio… sarà lo stile della struttura che offre stanze/appartamenti, diciamo che lo stile è un po’ self-made ;) Considerati il rapporto qualità/prezzo e la gestione del disservizio alle stesse condizioni non tornerei.

Dormito in questa struttura venerdì 6 e sabato 7 ottobre. Camera grande e confortevole. Buona l'insonorizzazione esterna. Comoda la colazione, portata dal personale direttamente in camera. Molto cortese la receptionist che di sabato sera, è intervenuta su nostra chiamata per un problema alla card magnetica. Dopo un brevissima attesa ci ha riprogrammato la tessera per poter accedere nella nostra stanza. Torneremo molto volentieri. Paolo e Debora, stanza Romantic.
