It’s near the longmen grottoes, within a 10 minutes walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the owner recommended a nearby restaurant and busses to the attractions like the Luoyang ancient city and Yingtian Gate and Mingtian Hall. I extended my stay, she allows me to stay in the same room even though i booked a smaller room. The toilet roll and water bottles were replaced and she took out the rubbish. I just wish the toilet had been cleaned as well.

I cannot recommend this B&B enough. The owners went out of their way for us, they told us what to visit, gave us a lift to the market, cooked some free snacks for us and arranged an early taxi. The accommodation was cheap and cheerful and is only minutes from The Longmen Grotto. The warmth of the owners was really touching. Please stay here if you visit Longmen Grotto and experience true Chinese hospitality. 😊

Amazing hospitality by the owner who gave us great and sensible suggestion on our itineraries and food recommendation. It was low visitor season so she could personally dropped us off at nearer to longmen grottoes entrance and also the location for local tour bus. Room was amazing too. Like a home away from home indeed!

It is true, the owners are as kind as everyone else states. The woman met my taxi with an umbrella because it was raining out. Nice boutique hotel experience. Perfect for seeing the Longmen Grottoes and so close by.

Very good location near longmen entrance. Spacious room and bed and everything provided you may need. Lady was very helpful to find it, the best accommodation so far in China.

The owner was really friendly and helpful. She and her husband helped us with our heavy suitcases to get them into the homestay and out of the homestay to the taxi on the main road. And she even gave us an upgraded room on a lower floor so that we didn't have to climb more stairs with these heavy bags! The room was really clean and the bathroom was really nice too. Also, the location was really good!! Only about 10mins walk to the Longmen Grottoes entrance.

I chose this hotel after reading the reviews. I was not disappointed. The location is good, far away from the downtown area, and it takes only a few minutes to get to a large shopping mall. The hotel environment is good, the service is thoughtful, the room layout is reasonable, and there is no odor.

The hotel owner was very attentive. She helped us with our questions and recommended places to eat and visit. Even though she didn't speak English, she managed to communicate well using WeChat and translation apps. On the day of our check-out, her husband was very kind and gave us a ride to the station where we caught a bus to Dengfeng. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, after midnight, and she was waiting for us to check in. A sign with the hotel's name in English would have helped us find it more easily. The street gets quite dark at night, which initially scared us a bit, but we soon realized that it seemed like a safe and peaceful area.

Ordinary B&Bs are cheap and have poor sound insulation. If the price is normal, it is still okay, but 200-300 is not cost-effective. But it should be said that hotels in Luoyang in April are very expensive. They are 800-900, so you get what you pay for.
