We had an excellent time at the Inn of the Shenandoah. We celebrated a long anniversary weekend in Luray and the surrounding areas. Art, our host, was very helpful with his suggestions and was very hospitable and we certainly felt at home. The Inn itself was charming, clean, and spacious. Highly recommend.

Good location. Great place to stay. Our host, Art, was wonderful. He shared his knowledge of the area, which saved us time and pointed us in the right direction. Breakfast was great every day and the house is worth staying in. Would happily book again.

A step back in time with all the modern conveniences. Art, went above and beyond making sure all the details were top notch. His knowledge and recommendations around the area were spot on. A restful, clean, stay. Thank you kindly Art Scott and Judy

A delightful place to stay! We stayed a couple of nights and loved the atmosphere and Art’s enthusiasm. Great breakfast goodies. The Chop house next door was yummy too! Lots of atmosphere and period detail. Our room was large and comfortable. Convenient to both the trails in the mountains and to the other Shenandoah Valley attractions.

Great location in downtown Luray. Very charming Victorian style home with a lot of character. Not to mention absolutely wonderful hospitality from Art. So sweet and very attentive to anyone’s needs. We spent a lovely weekend there and would definitely stay again. Thanks, M&M

This B&B is awesome! Prior to arriving we were asked what kind of quiche we liked for breakfast and that, plus fresh pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt and more is what we had for breakfast the next day. Upon arrival Art, the property manager, greeted us and walked us through the house (told us to make ourselves at home) then showed us our beautiful Victorian room with a jacuzzi and sitting room. Then he went and got our luggage for us. Art learned it was our anniversary so before we even got settled in we got a text saying there was a bottle of wine just outside our door. Art went above and beyond all the time. Once my glasses came apart and Art ran to Walmart to get 2 different repair kits. Another time he forgot to put scones out for breakfast and as we were in our car heading out for the day he comes rushing out with the scones in a baggie. We have many more wonderful stories. Stay here. You will not regret it.

Let me just say, the inn and the inn keeper Art were truly delightful I enjoyed the leisurely aspect of the inn Art said treat it as if it were your own home, which i did I also enjoyed his attention to detail The interest he showed in whatever I did. Chuck and the main street bakery were very inviting. Thank you Chuck the cinnamon roll was out of this world. The private gate put my mind at ease for safety purposes. The Chop House what a bonus Delicious filet cooked to perfection. I'd love to return as we didn't get to the mountains but I'm sure the mountains will be there until I return. Thank you Art we had a tremendous vacation. You were the cherry on top of my cake Michelle p Spencer Chesapeake. Virginia

This experience was wonderfully decadent. The food is great, the coffee is phenomenal and the stay helped my family unwind and enjoy the surrounding area. We felt very spoiled. The bakery across the street makes the best cinnamon rolls. Truly, it is the best B&B getaway.
