Lovely hotel, very nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hotel close to airport yet hidden and out the way of the bustling Lusaka. Clean rooms great food choices. Recommend staying here when in Lusaka. Hope to visit again very soon. Thanks

Enjoyed my staycation with my 5 yo son. However, standards slipping a little compared to when we were there 4 months ago - no welcome drinks on arrival, check-in took 15-20 min although we were the only ones there (had to wait for housekeeping to ensure the room was ready, this is despite us showing up after check-in time of 3pm) no flower(s) in a vase in their premium room - was really lovely to have that before, no waste paper baskets in the sitting area or bathroom. Had dinner at their restaurant and again disappointing - ordered the mix seafood grill, and breakfast too was just bland. 4/10 for the food. Their restaurant staff may need a refresher training, they are also slipping compared to our last visit. the hotel was not busy so I'm unsure why service was not 10/10. Great gym and swimming area 10/10 for these, although the rain spoilt the latter on our first day there.

Best hotel in lusaka!! Enjoyed a wonderful night in the hotel with my girlfriend. The staff was really helpful and caring arranged us a covid test in our room even though the company they mainly use was not able to give our results in time since we had a early flight in the morning and we had a late check in they arranged us another company which let us not miss our flight. The room was super clean and modern. There is a bar/restaurant at the roof floor and a gym thats open 24 hours a day. The food was impressive and basically every detail about the hotel amazed us after struggling to reach lusaka from mazabuka.

Like your previous reviewer, we stayed at the Peacock aroiund mid-July. During an expensive and mediocre dinner, I looked up to see a rat running across the dining room floor, Then another and another. My partner then spotted at least two more making a total FIVE RATS!!! We too asked to discuss this with the Manager but nobody was forthcoming.In any other country this place would be shut down immediately - so I can only guess that the Chinese Owners have being bribing the Health Inspector. Weird weird weird, that's how I'd describe my stay at Mika- Apparently they don't take bookings from Trip but are still on the app and have a number of reviews from people! They eventually accepted the booking and let us stay - The place resembled something from The Shining - EMPTY, quiet and eerie ! Location is good because it's near to the airport but don't stay here for any longer than needs be ! Also DO NOT book the airport transfer it is extortion ! Rather download ULENDO the app and book a taxi in advance with them! Mika were charging 300 PP - We got the taxi for 115 in total! Bed was comfortable, room was relatively clean but very meh overall - Pictured is the absolutely packed restaurant 🤭
