I chose Ibis as it is a tried and tested place to stay. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, including the pillows. The room is on the small side, but you are only sleeping there. It is an easy walking distance to/ from the airport. I managed it with a big suitcase. Most of all the staff were helpful, from reception to housekeeping. I wasn't just greeted to be checked in, I was ”welcomed” with a genuine smile. That means a lot, especially as I was a solo traveller this trip. Thank you Ibis Luton for taking some of the strain out of a long journey.

Excellent stay if you’re coming from further afield & need to access the airport for an early morning checkin (approx 29 min walk). Room was clean, comfortable & some how kept out all the noise Although they currently breakfast included, you’ll only have toast & cereal available.

I stayed here for two nights. On arrival the reception staff were very welcoming and check in was quick and efficient. I had a room on the 4th floor with a view of the dart Station and aircrafts ascending from the airport. There was no noise coming from these which was good. The room was spotless and had a good number of plugs, USB points, iron, safe etc. My colleagues and I had dinner at the hotel. Again the staff there were friendly but there was nothing special about the food. Tbh, that (and lack of proper black out blinds) was the reason I didn't give the full five stars. I'll bring my sleep eye mask next time. Early starts meant that we missed breakfast but you can request a breakfast bag. Getting to the airport was so easy using the new Dart service literally next door. Apart from a small retail park, there isn't much nearby. But that can be said for the other airport hotels in the vicinity. However, this hotel has great links to the town and airport via the train/dart stations. The hotel has it's own car park but is also near the Parkway public car park. I will definitely stay here again.

Super friendly staffs, very helpful and room is very clean. I had a wonderful stay and breakfast in the morning has great variety. Breakfast starts at 5am which is great for those catching an early flight. I called the hotel multiple times, they always pick up immediately and helpful to solve my problems. Tips, remember to bring cash for taking taxi from Luton airport parkway station to the hotel. To get from Luton airport parkway station to the hotel at night is a bit problematic, there’s a bus A or bus 100 to go between but staffs at the railway station don’t know about the bus service. During Easter the bus schedule became 20 min intervals instead of the original 10min interval, shouldn’t be a problem other times. No cash I tried calling uber got cancelled for 2 times before getting on one. It’s just around 1 mile from the railway station, took around 5 min of driving to get there once got on uber. Things are actually much more easy the next morning when I went from hotel to the railway station, hotel has a sign showing the departure time of the bus A or bus 100 that has a stop just outside their hotel across the road. Great for estimating your travel time. I am also able to get a later check out time upon request and upon their discretion. I am glad i booked this hotel overall!

Basic Hotel for Pocket Change, it ain't the London Hilton but a room for the price of a drink there. NIGHT ONE: Liked · The Receptionist ( Jess ) was extremely presentable & very professional in how she presents herself, her customer care skills were the best of the staff I encountered, I gather she is the assistant manager/manageress ? from what I saw she should be the manager/manageress as she stands out as having the required skills & attributes to make people feel like their stay matters to the hotel. I can't fault any of the reception staff as they all try their best & they do seem to be working in less than perfect conditions due to the hotel not being of an acceptable standard but is suffice as a Bargain Basement Hotel, some remarks made by others are quite harsh as you really do get what you pay for ;-) if you want opulence, pay opulent prices for opulence in a 5 star hotel, if you want cheap & cheerful for pocket change, it is wrong to complain when you get 'cheap & cheerful accomodation ' Disliked · Bed was extremely uncomfortable, no shower in room but there was a bath. Room 302 was a very NOISY room. In defence of the hotel staff they are quite open in telling guests that the bed bases are awaiting replacement & that with the new mattresses I would imagine the sleep quality will improve, if you want opulence, pay opulent prices for opulence in a 5 star hotel, if you want cheap & cheerful for pocket change, it is wrong to complain when you get 'cheap & cheerful accomodation ' but the standard of bedding does need drastic improvement......other than that I found the place suffice for what the room rates are & the hotel has just reopened after a long closure due to COVID-19 I found the hotel to be significantly cleaner than the photos posted on tripadvisor show, so self assessment of the hotel is best made during any stay you make. NIGHT TWO: Great Receptionist Staff but currently a SubStandard Hotel with no frills etc. Liked · Receptionist ( Linden ) was trying his best to make guests feel welcome,however it is quite a hard job for the receptionists because the hotel is quite shoddy in appearance in most areas. I actually stayed 3 nights on a recce stay to report on the hotel facilities & general presentation. Disliked · The Hotel Management have a policy on taking a £50.00 security deposit ( if you don't pay, you don't stay !!! ) Now, whilst I didn't personally worry about that as it is a REFUNDABLE PAYMENT if nothing is maliciously damaged or breakages occur I do feel it is worth mentioning it because some clients booking a room here might be on a tighter than normal budget & not have a spare £50.00 to leave at reception during their stay ( The payment has to be paid in CASH as well ) During my 3 night stay I was given rooms on the 2nd Floor ( which is actually the 3rd level by US standards ) & there isn't a lift in the hotel. Always a great stay, helped out with girl problems!!! But exoect deposit on arrival now which sucks if you dont have 50 pound to spare.

We booked a superior family room and received a very small double room we could hardly get my wheelchair in. I did not have the will to question that night as we were so tired, we were just happy it was close to reception and on the ground floor. We did also have to pay for somebody to bring food we ordered because we were unable to pick it up ourselves from the bar due to disability. I don't think this is fair either, as it wasn't due to choice.

The Premier Inn is always my first choice for Luton. The location is handy for the train station (30 minutes to London, top tip - staying here and commuting is a lot cheaper than a London hotel); super-friendly and efficient staff, especially Amanda and Afrina; spacious, clean and well-maintained rooms; generous breakfast with great vegan options. The free parking at the NCP next door is a bonus.
