Hotel Luxembourg dengan Gim

We were welcomed with a smile as well as an upgrade. Lovely hotel room and the dogs loved it too. Stayed in a Classic King Room with a view of the old town. Room was spacious with a big tv, shower cubicle (next to the bed area so no privacy) and some free drinks from the fridge. The bedding didn't look well made up as it was bunched up in the middle. Turns out that there was an outward slant of the bed. The concierge was very helpful in getting us a last minute dinner booking and his recommendation was very good. Breakfast was good (choice at breakfast of waffles, toast and egg made to order). Our only issue was that it wasn't easy to get someone to take our coffee order, when certain food ran out it took a while to replace it and it wasn't clear whether we could book food from the menu as part of our inclusive breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the old town and near the train station as well. Overall, service at the hotel was amazing.

Excellent property located at elevation overlooking the valley is pleasant place to relax and rejuvenate. The staff are very cooperative and helpful.

The walk from the train station is uphill, we made it slowly! We were able to check-in a little early which was appreciated. The room was nice and clean. The service was friendly. The snacks for the evening could be better, however the breakfast selection was good. There were scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs available along with a variety of meats and cheeses, fruits, breads, sweets. Based on restaurant breakfast expenses the value is good. Getting a taxi upon check out was sketchy, asked the desk to order one for the next day, the next day didn’t know which entrance it would be coming to and ended up having to hail one for ourselves out front.

A cot was so nicely arranged already in our room without any request, that was a nice touch and appreciated. The room is spacious, even with King sized bed + a baby cot there is still a lot of room. Spacious bathrooms. Appreciated the no single use plastic bottle in both bathrooms and in-room water. Only wish was, there was charging next to the bed. Location is spot on! And staff was very nice to us, thank you for a nice stay.

During my last business trip to Luxembourg, I stayed in a classic double room in the annex to the Grand Hotel Victor Hugo. The stay was excellent, and because of the summer temperatures I particularly appreciated the air conditioning and the window shutters. The spacious and clean room had an excellent bed, a large flat screen TV, a kettle to make coffee or tea and a minibar that can be used as a small fridge. The free WiFi always worked fine and the spacious shower cabin in the bathroom was a final plus. Staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast buffet offered a good quality and variety. However, there were some minor drawbacks that prevents me from giving the top score. I found it annoying that the safe in the room did not work, which meant that I could not safely store my laptop in the evening. The hairdryer did not work either. The double bed actually consists of two joined single beds (though with an excellent mattress) and the annex is a rather soulless building. Nevertheless, if I were to visit Luxembourg again, I would be happy to stay at this hotel, although I would consider upgrading to the main building. Prices are a tad lower compared to similar chain hotels in Kirchberg. The Grand Hotel Victor Hugo is a great base for both leisure and business travellers. The free tram stops almost in front of the hotel (Theater stop) and the car can be parked cheaply on the nearby square (Glacis). The rate at Glacis is 1 euro per hour on weekdays between 8 AM and 6 PM and is free outside these hours and on weekends. The centre of Luxembourg is easily accessible on foot and two minutes’ walk away you will find two supermarkets (Cactus and Monop' both open from 7 AM to 8 PM).

酒店大廳大氣，房間設計現代化、符合人體工學和寬敞，房間床墊是硬底加了層軟墊像睡在棉花裏一樣好舒服，不用開空調睡覺更安靜。 早餐的英式紅茶很不錯，暖胃。

Clean room, nice location, free car park (underground and outside) Not customer oriented staff, AC did not work in the room and after telling them 2 times no body did a thing about it. So we had to stay in a super hot room for 2 days. We had only 1 chair in the room, although we were 4. I had to request this 2 times only after they brought 2 more chairs. They did not refill our complimentary coffee/ tea. The worst thing is staff does not want to listen to you. After each request they give you short answers and just get over with you. In short words you dont feel like they care about you by in this hotel.

Personnel sympathique et toujours disponible. Localisation proche de l'aéroport, ce qui facilite les transferts en bus. Lit très confortable. Juste le petit déjeuner c'était un peu cher, mais c'était bon

Sehr gut und zentral gelegen zwischen Fußgängerzone und Park, Tiefgarage vorhanden. Mit dem Auto ist das Hotel nicht ganz leicht zu erreichen dank der Verkehrsführung in der Innenstadt. Leider hilft einem auch auf Nachfrage keiner mit dem Gepäck beim Check-in. Insgesamt aber sehr freundliches Personal, ein ganz klein Bisschen langsam. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr gutes ! Mittagessen. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Innenhof Richtung städtischen Park. Abends Pianomusik in der Bar, sehr gute , ausgefallene Cocktails. Nettes Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht, gute Betten, keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Insgesamt sicher zu empfehlen! Wir werden wieder dort übernachten.

Large room with a huge bed. Good selection of pillows, complimentary bottle of water, tea and coffee making facilities, room service. Good view of the city from the top floor room. Room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was large but only had a shower over the bath, for modern hotels these days a separate shower and bath would be better. Air Con was not effective, i think it was more of a air circulation system. Breakfast was good. Self service style with all the standard hot and cold options, plus extras such as omelette and pancake making stations. Staff were very good. The sauna, steam room and gym were small, but never busy. The hotel is located just outside the old city, within the business district. It’s a perfect location; just outside there’s a 10 minute T1 tram to the city centre. There’s a 15 minute direct bus from round the corner to the airport. All public transport is free inside Luxembourg. The only thing that slightly disappointed us was the €150 hold on a credit card at check-in. We fully paid for our stay upfront, and whilst some hotels ask for a hold on a credit card for damages, €150 was excessive, and this hotel made no mention of it during the booking process. Overall; a modern, mid-upper range hotel.
