Ulasan Steigenberger Achti Resort Luxor

The resort is too old, many manufactures in the room are broken, and the sound of the airconditioner is very loud.

This is a hotel with a great view along the Nile River. In the morning you can see the balloon climbing. When I asked to book a transfer to and from the airport, I was told that the hotel would not be able to accommodate me. They told me to find my own travel agent or negotiate with a cab outside. The city itself is touristy and the beer was more expensive than at the Cairo Hilton.

It was a nice hotel, but the food for a 4/5 star hotel was a solid 3 not very good and not many options. And EVERYONE is trying to get a tip from you. The girl only showed me to my room, didn’t bring any of my luggage etc, and stood in the room for 2 minutes before I had to say something. Makes things very awkward and annoying to carry small change when you’ve already paid for a nice hotel and don’t expect the hassling. They won’t outright say it, you can see and feel it and that made it very annoying. No ones help was free. Hotel itself was nice, rooms were decent but AC slightly warmer than I’d have liked. Would stay again but keep those things in mind.

The Steigenberger is located right on the Nile - you can sip a drink by the pool while overlooking the iconic river. The resort has 2 gorgeous - and much-needed - swimming pools, 2 a la carte restaurants (Italian and Lebanese), a main dining room, and some shops. In the garden, there is a tent with comfy seating where you can order tea, smoke some shisha and watch the evening’s entertainment. On the surface it looks great, but the fittings all seem a bit tired and quite “old school”. There’s a picture of Princess Diana visiting in the 80s/90s, and I did wonder if anything had been upgraded since then…

The hotel facilities are good and the breakfast is delicious, but when we left, something unpleasant happened. My wife went to check out, and the waiter Steve ignored her and kept his head down. My wife waited for him for a long time, and then went to another waiter to check out. Then he raised his head and peeked at my wife until I took a picture of his name. He came to ask me what was wrong and said that it was normal to ignore the guests. Then I would like to ask the manager of the hotel if this is normal? The other staff of the hotel are very good, only he treated us like this, he ruined our love for this hotel, it's really bad!

Good land quiet location and value for money, rooms are spacious too and lovely the balcony and Nile views. Definitely would recommend

This is an luxury hotel by the Nile river. The bed is comfortable.

Great location and pool

早飯很好，能讓人在埃及吃得葷素兩全。 酒店就在尼羅河河畔，日出日落都有活動玩。 如果需要採購純凈水等日用品，最好走個15分鐘左右，到當地人的活動區採購。1.5升的純凈水衹用花10埃及磅。 設施舊，類似00年代的國內酒店。衞生間易堵。

訂的大床房，直接給了一大一小床的房間，導致放箱子的地方都很侷促。備品都是小半瓶的放在那，洗髮水就剩1/4瓶，浴中衹放一條，紙巾只有2張......不知是怎麼管理的，打3個電話要個吹風機要一小時才送到，還一手拿着錢，意思是要小費？早餐挺豐富的。

房間面積不大，但很舒服，尼羅河的視野極佳，躺在床上就可以曬太陽。餐廳也還不錯，但是這家酒店的人比較多，貌似和很多旅行社合作了，有非常多的旅行團來入住。Wifi比較差，反正兩天時間我們沒連上過，但埃及手機卡流量夠用，就沒去計較。前台工作人員很友好、耐心。 一些問題：餐廳的工作人員收空盤收得非常快，甚至碗裏還有東西就給你收走了，這到底是出於什麼目的？是酒店的盤子不夠用要趕緊拿去洗嗎？這件事比較影響餐飲體驗。另外，我們兩天在酒店吃飯，遇見了兩次在吃飯時又有工作人員來和我們確認房號，這是為什麼？工作人員並沒有解釋，還是衹找亞洲人或中國人重新確認嗎？ 另外給大家提醒，酒店外面有很多出租車和馬車攬客，但也完全不存在不能打滴滴的情況，因為滴滴可以開進酒店裡麪。以及，如果從盧克索坐馬車回酒店，你們給車伕報酒店名字的時候要報Citadel, 而不是説Pickalbatros，因為當地人默認Pickalbatros是Nile Palace那一家，那些“法拉利”駕駛員會鑽你的空子多要錢。

整個埃及旅程中最糟糕的兩晚。 房間一股發黴味兒，飯不如其他酒店的好吃，這都算了，能忍， 最無語的是，這家酒店門口堵了一大堆出租車司機，像***一樣，阻攔網約車乘客。第一天不知情，在門口打網約車，直接被幾個男的團團圍住，不讓上車，還點我的手機取消訂單，簡直無法無天。聽説會忽悠乘客上車，然後坐地起價。酒店也不管。我們拒絕上車後，還有司機在後麪跟了幾百米。 除了出租車，門口還全是馬車，臭氣熏天。 而且據盧克索的司機説，只有這家酒店有這種情況。 反正避雷吧。住在這沒什麼安全感，衹想趕緊跑。
