Our Daughter chose this venue for her wedding, and we were NOT disappointed in any way. We arrived early in the morning as hair and make up had to be done, on arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile. Hazel the wedding planner was incredible guiding us through the day. The ceremony was conducted outside which was perfect. Followed by photos and canapés in the beautiful grounds which are immaculate. The wedding breakfast was delicious, the waiting staff were very friendly and efficient. Going from the wedding breakfast to the evening reception was totally seamless. A hog roast was chosen for the evening and was very well received by the guests. Everyone had great fun at the evening disco, thanks to Jerry the DJ who knows how to interact with the guests and keep them on the dance floor!! People that stayed overnight found the rooms very comfortable. The next morning a fabulous breakfast was enjoyed by all. Thank you to the owners of the Batch and all of their staff. A tremendous day was had by all. So thank you. If you’re thinking of booking your wedding here you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended.

We went on a last minute holiday here to celebrate the start of the bank holiday weekend!We arrived quite late at night so the garden was all lit up beautifully.We took a sunset stroll in the garden which was beautiful.The garden is so beautiful,there is a lovely lake(with a bridge) and loads of lovely plants.The garden is so well maintained and well cared for and you can tell it’s extremley loved.They also had an abundance of fish as well and some cows in an adjoining field.There’s also a bench which you can watch the sunset from.They also have a bandstand.The room was spotless and comfortable.Beds were very comfortable.It has a lovely,charming,relaxing feel with a lively vibe.It’s a beautiful old building but the rooms are fairly modern.When you step into reception,you feel like you are in someone’s house.They also have two fireplaces as well.They also do weddings here(can imagine it’s a fabulous wedding!)and breakfast in the morning.A couple of suggestions I would make is to have live concerts/events in the garden and games eg uno outside.Fantastic hotel,would recommend and stay again in the future.

We attended my nephews wedding here on good Friday. Wow what an amazing day from start to finish, food excellent, rooms also excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of holding their wedding there or even just a romantic stay. The grounds are also lovely

I’m not sure words can explain how happy I was with our small wedding here. James was always very helpful when first contacting Batch, and made sure everything was going to plan. We arrived the day before to drop off some table decorations and when we arrived for our wedding meal, the table was laid out beautifully. The service was amazing and the food was first class. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. The grounds and the rooms were beautiful, well looked after grounds and stunning rooms. All we can say is, you made our day so special, thank you all very much and I would highly recommend Batch country house.

We had our wedding here 28.10.23 - WHAT A DAY!! From the moment we booked the venue, the staff, mainly the owner James and our co-ordinater Hazel, went above and beyond to make our day as perfect as it was! Nothing was too much trouble, and the day ran completely without fault! Dan helped so much the night before and day of the wedding with all my questions and with setting up etc! Food was delicious, bar is well stocked with a lot of variety, evening buffet was served on time and topped up throughout the evening! Amazing venue and lovely, helpful staff! Thank you ❤️ Highly recommend 😊

This "Exclusive" venue, although very pretty and in some amazing grounds, does need to look at some of the finer details. We were here for a wedding and when we arrived the grass had been freshly cut but not cleaned up, meaning that we and others were walking it into the venue. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and of a decent quality. The staff all seemed very friendly. The rooms were very old and dated but this gave it character, as did the uneven floors which made you feel like you had had a drink when you actually haven't. On walking around the grounds there were buttonholes from a previous wedding floating in the fountain, the downstairs toilets were pungent and this made things a little uncomfortable. Shower gel and shampoo bottles in the bathroom had not been filled, so good job I had taken my own. Please if you are billing yourself as an "exclusive" resort. Surely it would pay you to sort these minor issues.

Fanily wedding yesterday in such a stunning venue.. Gorgeous surroundings and spacious rooms.. Staff were brilliant and looked after us all.. There was so many flowers abd decorations everywhere.. We stayed in one of the downstairs rooms it had everything you needed including a fan!!!! Breakfast was full english and croissants cereals and juice.. Highly recommend this place for a wedding❤

My daughter and son in law got married in August 2023. We were so well looked after by our wedding co-ordinator who helped us with any request or queries that we had. The day arrived and the service we received was exceptional , from the room to get ready in , the ceremony and the meal was amazing and the waiting service seamless. . We were able to fill all the rooms with some of our guests which gave us an exclusive run of the hotel. Our room was amazing with a jacuzzi and a four poster bed with lights. The venue is beautiful and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a wedding venue

Wow what can we say! We got married here on 10th June 2023 and it was the most beautiful day. The venue itself is stunning, all inclusive so it was only us and our wonderful wedding guests. The food was amazing, and shout out to the chefs who did an amazing hog roast! Hazel, there are no words. You went above and beyond ever since we booked with you guys all that time ago. Your professional insight, helpfulness and kindness helped 2 super stressful wed to be's feel more calm! The most beautiful place which will hold dear in our hearts forever. Thank you so so much 💗
