Located near to downtown Lyon, but private enough in a quiet part on the hill. Gives u a beautiful sight of the city from above. The free parking lot is also super useful.

The old hotel suprised me a lot in a good way. Rooms are comfortable and definitely worthy of its price! I stayed in a one person room where everything was comfortable and clean.

during my stay, elevator never fix, night time desk unfriendly, high hill location is worse.

Very nice play to stay

The rooms are huge at this hotel. The "basic" room is a studio with a loft. You can do a somersault in the bathroom. You can cartwheel in the studio. Space is definitely not an issue. However, when traveling with children, a few things need to be keenly aware. If you take public transportation (bus and metro), you will need to walk up a pretty steep hill. So for the physically challenged, this can be tricky. If you have young children who fall asleep, then you better have strong arms and legs to carry them back to the hotel. At night, you will have to walk through some seedy areas of Lyon....again not great with children. I didn't feel it was "unsafe" but the aesthetics is probably not suitable for children. The exterior of the building and hotel grounds is shown in the photo below. On the other hand, having so much space in the room with kids, and having a kitchen in the studio definitely helps if you want to relax and retire early for the day. I cannot really comment on the service of the hotel. We didn't have to ask for anything special. The rooms are clean, and everything we need was already in the room.

The road to the hotel was quite demanding, with steep, narrow slopes and a street full of parked cars. After finally arriving at the hotel, the free parking was full, and street parking outside cost nearly 60 euros per night. It's an old building, and the rooms are quite ordinary, unlike the pictures in the hotel brochure. The amenities were basic: no air conditioning, just an old-fashioned table fan. The windows were small, but the view was lovely, with a panoramic view of Lyon. There was a kitchenette, but you had to clean it yourself before leaving.

The hotel is next to the subway, just up a hill from the subway entrance. It's a bit inconvenient to climb uphill with a big suitcase, but you can see a good view in front of the hotel. The hotel is very close to the White Apple Plaza, and you can see interesting graffiti on the way there. The single room I booked also has a small kitchen with cooking tools, but I didn't use it. There are several types of cheese for breakfast, including two types of Presidential brand👍. I will choose to stay here again if I go to Lyon again.

It's too bad. If I could give it 0 points, I would never give it 1 point. The level is equivalent to a domestic 1-star guest house. The reason why I chose him was because this hotel advertised a free parking lot, but when I arrived, I discovered that there were only a few and there was no parking at all. We booked a family room. You can see the comparison between the photos on the platform and our actual room. It's huge, and the two rooms are connected by a thin corridor. We had three suitcases and there was no room to open them. The hotel rooms are all on the second floor or above. The elevator has been broken for several months and has not been repaired. Guests have to carry it up themselves. The most annoying thing is that when we saw the actual room on the first day, we asked to check out, but the hotel didn't allow it. I explained the matter through Ctrip customer service. Ctrip was very kind and kept contacting me about this matter. However, this shabby hotel would not check out. During each other's European trip, whether it was Paris as the first stop or Nice and Rome in the later period, the accommodation experience was good. This hotel in Lyon was so bad that you should never choose it again.

It was difficult to check in with luggage, but it was safe during my stay and I could walk around. The location was good.

The front desk is very polite, and the engineer on duty is also very good. Unfortunately, the elevator is broken. It is very convenient to walk to the art gallery and the city hall. Although the room facilities are simple, there is a refrigerator, dishwasher and hot water kettle. There are parking spaces in the yard, and you can park for free. A convenient place to stop when visiting the first district and the old town.

Лион — город холмистый, и отель расположен на горе, поэтому на своих двоих туда с багажом от ратуши подниматься не совсем удобно, но это терпимое неудобство. Мой номер был на третьем этаже (по французской классификации на втором) и из-за холмистости был на уровне проезжей части. Окна были зарешечены, но ощущения тюрьмы не было. В номер был чайник, другие кухонные принадлежности и (бинго!) не душ, а ванна. Завтрак стандартный европейский, точно не плохой, на 8.5/10.
