Seven Corals

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, I slept without a blanket one full night which was very upset.

Seven Corals Maafushi_Island is one of the most excellent accommodations we have ever been. We fill wonderful, everything we desired host realized very fast and efficient. We found here: perfectly tiding room, excellent positions of accommodation in island and very pleasant atmosphere every afternoon. Rooms are furnished with a lot of pleasant details. Hosts are always in real mood to help you and to give you everything you need for. Whatever guests want host Rahman can did it island (rent a boat, fishing, excursions, organize events like birthday and much more). Accommodation is on excellent positions in the island of Mafushi, and on short walking distance was up to 3 minutes to everything interesting in island, and beach and markets specially. Breakfast we didn’t had, but it was offered and that is something what they are really proud of. Always they are talking to gests and making whatever they are wanted. I was on raw vegan food so it was to much to ask them to do it. At the end we couldn’t left that place easy because big parts of our hearts stayed there!

Made a booking in Dec to Arrive 23rd Feb and they cancelled my booking through Agoda 4 days before departure having already taken my payment. They have left me with a stressful situation as I have four days to find new accomodation. I should have listened to my gut instict about this place as i had a feeling something would go wrong judging by some of the bad reviews.

The hotel has a great location in the middle of Maafushi’s centrum. But so many small things made the stay uncomfortable, especially the lack of information from the hotel’s part. I tried to book transfer ahead from Malé airport to The hotel on Maafushi island. Approximately 4 days before my arrival I got in touch with someone from Seven Hotels saying that it would be possible and which timings I would like. From there I never heard anything back. I tried to write them several mails, contacting them on Facebook and even calling them. No one never replied me back! When my final departure date for Maldives was about to start, I was a bit stressed as I didn’t have any transfer booked ahead from the airport! I like being organized when I travel and this was a very bad start of my short vacation. I landed in Malé airport 06:00 am. In the morning and I had to wait 4 hours in a crowded airport, meanwhile trying to figure out how to find transfer from there to the hotel! In the end I found a random small guy in a white shirt! Who finally was able to help me, but all this stress could have been avoided from the hotels site if it was arranged prior my arrival! When I arrived to Maafushi island a guy was picking me up at the port and I tried to explain my dissatisfaction. The staff barely spoke English - and I gave up. I then contacted Seven Corals via mail, and now I heard from them explaining their wifi connection was bad and therefore they couldn’t get in touch with me! But to be honest this isn’t any excuse! Then you should remove the service online if you aren’t able to help your customers! I booked a deluxe room, and was given another room at the ground floor as my other room wasn’t ready! My check in was at 12:00 pm. But they said it wouldn’t be ready before 15:00 pm! This is also very bad! No housekeeping was neither offered during my 4 days stay. I had to ask for toilet paper! The toilet lid was broken and there was a huge bump in the right side of the bed! I travel the whole world! And this experience wasn’t nice at all! I never write negative reviews! But with your hotel I have too! As it kind of destroyed my small vacation from the beginning. Especially the lack of responsibility as a hotel! The lack of information was so poor! На Мальдивы я полетела с 5 летнем ребенком. Купили тур с проживанием, трансфером и завтрак+ ужин. Глава 1. Трансфер. По прилету мы долго искали нашего встречающего, подошли к стойки информации и нам его нашли. Отвели нас катер. И на катере с меня начали требовать 40 долларов за проезд. Я ему показываю мой ваучер. Он его не интересует, он говорит либо плати либо выходи. Я заплатила… привезли нас на остров Маафуши. Но тут нас никто не встретил. Я с чемоданом и ребенком после длительного перелета стою и жду кого нибудь из отеля. В итоге прошу какого то мужчину на телеге проводить меня))) ура мы в помойке seven corals! Глава 2. Заселение. Отель. Встретил нас парень, который с удивлением смотрит и говорит «we have no free rooms». Нет свободных номеров??? У меня бронь. Даю ему этот ваучер. Он смотрит и разводит руками. Я звоню туроператору. Приходит какой то парень и мне дают 101 номер. Без окон без телевизора, ужасный старый номер… В ванне что~то капает, спать невозможно. На следующий день пришла Нада. Это типо менеджер. Извинилась и говорит мы вернем вам деньги за трансфер (которые вернула в последний день). Вечером на следующий день меня пересилили в более приличный номер. Пару раз делали ремонт в час ночи. Сотрудники отеля или их гости курили (*********), орали, смеялись по ночам… о спокойствии можно только и мечтать! Глава 3. Питание. У нас был завтрак и ужин. На завтрак первые 5 дней давали яичницу, 1 сосиску, пол яблока и пол апельсина, 3 тоста, масло и джем. Кофе или вода. На 6 день яблоки и апельсины закончились, на 9,10 день закончились яйца. На ужин давали рис или макароны с яичницей, как плов только там еще капуста и какие то мелко нарезанные море продукты. 2 раза я просила картошку фри и нагенсы, приготовили 🙌 благодарю за это.
