Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Riviera, especially the service provided by the staff. The egg tarts were also a highlight. However, the location is not very strategic, although the hotel does offer a free shuttle service. It would be great if the hotel could provide a water dispenser or unlimited water refills for guests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nice Stay with Great Views Stayed at Hotel Riviera Macau for a couple of nights — really quiet and peaceful compared to the busy casino areas. The room was comfy. Staff were super friendly, and the free shuttle made it easy to get around. It’s a bit of a walk uphill, but overall, a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.

Good five star hotel and the room is very clean, 60 MOP upgrade to the sea view room.

The staff were accommodating, and one of the receptionists spoke fluent English. They served a good breakfast. The room was fine, but it might not be ideal for non-smokers since the hallway had a noticeable cigarette smell. Location is far from the tourist destination at Macau.

Amazing 5-star hotel with stunning views of Macau! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. Great location — close to major attractions and transport. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, perfect for both leisure and business stays. Excellent value for money — I would definitely stay here again!

Good location, Great Staffs, Sea view room was everything I will be back for sure

The location is great. It is very close to the lagoon (300 meters), and you have a beautiful view of the Macau Tower. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel to the city center. The restaurant is good, but buffet breakfast was disappointing. The hotel staff have either no or very limited English speaking ability. Often, they would just say "sorry, no English" when you have requests or questions. It can be frustrating.

It's absolutely ludicrous that this hotel is rated 5-diamond on Ctrip. Firstly, the location is incredibly remote and transportation is extremely inconvenient. The hotel's shuttle bus only runs from 10 am to 6 pm, and unbelievably, it operates every two hours, exclusively to the old border gate, using an old, dilapidated mini-bus. As for the hotel facilities, the decor is very shoddy, with many areas looking run-down. The wallpaper is peeling everywhere. This standard wouldn't even get 2 stars on mainland China, let alone in Macau, where the hotel industry is supposedly a cornerstone of the economy. The hygiene, however, is even more appalling. There were long hairs all over the bathroom floor; it gave me goosebumps just looking at it. The complimentary water provided was tiny 200ml bottles, while a large bottle cost 8 MOP! I'm too exhausted to list more details. To sum it up, the only thing that lives up to a 5-diamond standard is the price; everything else, even a 2-diamond rating would be an overstatement.

Ambiance: Our room offered fantastic views of the Macau Tower and came with a small balcony. The night scenery was breathtaking, and the children absolutely loved their stay. Service: The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle service. While its schedule might not be as frequent as some of Macau's larger establishments, the overall value for money is outstanding.

It’s my forth time staying here. Super clean hotel, I am saying SUPER CLEAN. The location is a bit to reach as it’s on a little hill, but the view is magnificent! Would definitely stay there again.

It's a good hotel. However if you want to go anywhere with other hottle shuttle, it's a little pain in the ass. It's at least 20 minutes away(walking distance) to go anywhere to get foods / supermarket. During winter it may be ok, in summer tho. It's crazy hot hahaha

Though hotel was a bit aged, overall stay was good. Will stay again for next Macau trip.
