Premier Inn Macclesfield North

I don't know if its the same at all Premier Inns, but the standard and service provided at this one is not worthy of a so called budget hotel. Nor is the price. On entering our room it was obvious someone had been smoking in it. Not acceptable whether by previous guest, cleaner, workman...told receptionist who didnt apologise, just said to let her know if it happens again!! The flow of water from the tap in the bathroom sink was miniscule, the water was either hot or freezing cold. The heating never works in this hotel and the fan provided gave out an industrial amount of cold air! Not safe to leave window open overnight so because Iwe went some ventilation we had to have the fan on and freeze. And it seems PI can n o longer stretch to glasses AND mugs. The mugs are now made out of glass, presumlbly to double as both! it is a joke. The price you pay for something like this pathetic idea and no cleaning. We stay at this one regularly as it is near to family but if we could find another in a convenient location we wouldn't hesitate to forget this place. The only good thing is the breakfast, always quality with friendly staff.

Stayed for a short solo stay which was lovely. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. It has a great location close to the Peak District and Manchester, which was convenient for my travel. Very comfortable bed and would recommend to others.

Parking facilities are amazing with free parking. Room is clean, sometimes get an extra sofa or few comfortable chairs in addition to wooden chair and bed. Premier Inn beds and pillows are always great to get a good night sleep after a hectic day of travel and work. However, this time shower water spilling all over, water flow in sink is not great, and heater controls not great, usually not a problem as I stay in this hotel regularly.

I had an accident, and an ambulance had to be called. Jenny was extremely professional and very reassuring throughout my ordeal. She suggested and arranged for me to change my room to be on the ground floor, which was vital upon my return from hospital. I can’t thank and praise Jenny highly enough for all that she did.

Mike could literally not have been more helpful. Room was clean and well appointed , I have some mobility issues which were dealt with and overall we felt.that our trip was excellent. Because we had been let down by the nearby Tytherington club Mike even gave us a lift. Above and beyond.....

A great night and an ideal location, we also got the stay at a great price, and took advantage of the meal deal, so Breakfast and Evening Meal for £55. The staff in the Premiere Inn were very informative about the location, and how the meal deal worked, they then booked us a table at our desired time. We could not have asked for more!!! Thank you!
