It was a wonderful place,I just love everything about the uniqueness in beauty of the hotel and I enjoyed singing at the karaoke with your friendly singer and dj😊

Best place to stay in Madeira island ,you will love it .mostly recommended

I booked this hotel as part of our week long trip in Madeira due to its proximity to the airport. The location was perfect and the hotel was spotless with an amazing hot shower. The small town where the hotel is located has plenty of little cute bars and restuarants too. Big shout out to the guy who was working doing the Karaoke during our stay - he was providing top entertainment in multiple languages and I loved it!

The eating was almost every day really standard and the same, nothing bg special, i thought i will see any typical portugal eat for breakfast. in room no water kettle , for trip is good to make any hot drink and put it in thermos, but was not possible. Good. Of point Clean, small. Friedge at room.

Отель хороший, на берегу, недалеко остановка общественного транспорта, рядом есть хайкинг. В отеле можно забронировать серфинг, дайвинг, экскурсии, завтраки тоже не плохи. Но сервис! От такого отеля ты ожидаешь, что с тобой будут более приветливы, проводят первый раз до комнаты, расскажут, что и где находиться и тд. Ничего из этого не было. При заезде в комнату был комплимент - вода, печенье и вино. Но воду потом не обнавляют. В комнате полотенца, которые меняют каждый день, халаты и тд.

Замечательное расположение недалеко от аэропорта и с выходом к пляжу. Прекрасный вид из номера. Отличный сервис. Вкусный завтрак. Мы всем довольны.

De locatie is top; dicht bij het vliegveld en de zee. Er zijn vele slechte recensies geschreven omtrent de hygiëne, vooral over ongedierte. Wij hadden een kamer op de 9e verdieping en hebben geen spin, mier of kakkerlak gezien. Het hotel is oud o.a. geen goede ventilatie in de badkamer, weinig stopcontacten en de airco koelt niet optimaal. Ondanks dat zijn blij dat we hier hebben overnacht :)

Gostei muito da estadia, tenciono voltar! Atendimento muito bom, super simpáticos e atenciosos. Restaurante com grande variedade e serviço impecável.

非常老的酒店，服務也差，人手不足，排長隊check in, 有蚊，問了也沒驅蚊器，服務人員態度差，潛水中心沒開，沒有户外活動報名處，有很大的飛機聲，雖然便宜但性價比還是最差。二星酒店的水平。

Had a good two nights stay in Hotel Dom Pedro as part of a group walking trip. Beautiful pool which we enjoyed using after our walks with a great outside bar, and they even brought round trays of fruit in the afternoons. The hotel and rooms were nice, but felt a bit tired and had quite a 70s look & feel. Lots of comfy sofas in the lobby where you can enjoy drinks from the bar (happy hour 5-6!) Good location, easy walk into town so easy access to good restaurants and a great gelato shop!

We stayed only for one night here during our visit in Madeira island. We loved the location because it was close to the ocean. We can get sun and enjoy the weather calmly in Machico. We checked-in almost midnight because of our night flight from Porto. The man at the reception was nice, friendly, and helpful. This hotel is old, but still had a great service during our stay. There is an outdoor pool but we didn't enter. The breakfast was fine. Nothing to complain about.

Really disappointing. Stayed as part of a tour group so it was booked for us as part of the trip. Got excited when I saw 4* on the sign but this is nowhere close to a 4* hotel, it’s a 3* at best. We’d just come from a 4* in Madeira and was a different league to this place. Sadly here there were old rooms desperately in need of refurbishment. There was no kettle in our room and when I asked for one at reception they said that was only for superior rooms. In a 4* I’m pretty sure you should expect a little kettle. Went down to the pool. No towels unless you pay a €5 deposit, maybe that sums up this place. Pool was filthy and no one was swimming in it no suprise. Threadbare towels in the room. There was 10 of us in our group. Everyone had the same problem that their WiFi didn’t work. I went to reception to get ours sorted. Also you have a small A/C unit in the room. It didn’t work. It actually blowed warm air regardless of what setting you put it on. Again, every one in our group had the same problem. The pillows were dreadful and so thick you couldn’t use them. We were looking for sockets to charge up things like phones etc but there is literally 1 socket in the room. I checked at reception as I figured I must have missed it but they confirmed just the one socket total in the room. All in all REALLY disappointing and while the town of Machico is beautiful there is no way I’d stay in the Dom Pedro hotel. It’s in desperate need of an update. I can’t imagine how they retained a 4* rating !

Stayed B&B very busy at breakfast always table available, staff quick & pleasant. Choice of meats,cheese, 3x yoghurts,2xbuns 2x bread,hot food eggs,bacon,sausage beans,mushroom,pancakes, lettuce,tomatoes onions,cucumber, jams etc . Rooms spotless we had balcony sea view only problem had to unplug tv to use only plug available in the room to charge phone, then had to use same plug if wanting to use straightners for hair. Restaurant over the RD la familia did fantastic food but very large portions & really good price fantastic home made desserts especially creme caramel. The hotel had entertainment on a night various singers also karaoke but no one got up to sing so just played backing tapes. Hotel has surf club which you can learn to surf. Hotel pool advertised on their website as heated definitely not heated. Very good spot less than 5 minutes to sea front & restaurants & bars would stay again but would need to take extension for more plugs.
