Heritage Resort Coorg

Rooms are very spacious with a very wide bathroom. Very pleasant stay on the top of the hill. Pool is very clean and well maintained. Food menu had variety of items for dinner and breakfast. This was our second time stay here. Feels very relaxed and peaceful out here.

Resort is well maintained and has Superb location, awesome food with change in the menu each time Buffet is preferred , HRC staff are positive and always happy to help , cottages are decent, with good distance from each other , no complaints as such , worth the spend for quality time with your family and loved ones

Amazing property, staff was super polite and helpful, buffet had great variety of delicacies and was amazing, views from the property were breathtaking and don’t miss sundowner by the pool

Food horrible.... Service... Horrible... Travel stressful.... Not reccomended unless you are 18-20 yrs old... Entire property is inclined.. Difficult to walk around... And restaurant is like it's on himalayas... Have to walk 45 degrees up for 15 min

Beautiful grounds, good location, nice room, pretty good food. My rating based on the fact that I am a foreigner. Not good choice for foreigners because no wifi in rooms, only at restaurant and they do not accept foreign credit cards which they only told us upon checkout! Also no refrigerator in room which was not good, especially since they charge for ice

Very good resort and good food. Hospitablity is great and they allowed us late checkout as well for our flight. Highly recommend. Arrosim beach also nearby. We enjoyed the pool here as well. Garden is also very beautiful with swings and kids play area.

We visited this from 15 -18 Feb, 2024. Overall resort is fine. Let me break up for more clarity: Pros: - Nestled in between trees giving nice natural experience especially early morning and evening bird sounds - only 32 independent cottage units with inside hotel like amenities - Game room with snoker, chess, 2 carrom boards, badminton net, tt table all being fresh and new - Some books as well for book lovers - Play area for kids has trampoline( again not old and rusty at all) which they love like anything - Infinity pool with 3 gradients-2.5/3.5 & 5 ft. With no fixed timings - Facility of candle light dinner as well as group parties - The staff is friendly and cooperative. Now that we know how good they are there are some things which pull them down from 5 Star experience Cons: - We spotted snake just behind our cottage but entire hotel staff (we contacted atleast 4 resort staff) was cool about it as they beleive it was rat snake n it's normal. Only in night they said they will have security guard deployed outside but we heard nothing at all of someone sitting outside. - The restaurant, Game room, Pool as well as Spa, is on hill top and you actually have to trek to reach there which drains lot of energy and becomes challenge of you have small kid around - If you are vegetarian, then you gonna face lots of challenge. While the options are limited yet the so available are not that good in taste at all - The service time despite lots of servers is too high which is even more if you order in room. -The Spa for me was ok types as I think post ayurvedic spa session my body is more aching. - If u opt for plantation visit, they will charge INR 800+ GST per person which is 4 times higher than what even bigger plantation charge you. Also they will simply tell you directions and in morning you are on your own to visit. Not sure how that's even a service by hotel - Before booking, you must understand clearly the location of this resort. It is atleast an hour from city and therefore elephant resort, plantation etc. all will take atleast 1 hour of commuting time and everything at coorg starts at 8 am and ends at 4pm. - Housekeeping and restaurant work as separate units and therefore utensils of restaurant will not be picked out even cleaned by housekeeping and will be left outside sinking till rightful person comes after constant follow up. Overall it is very good resort and location as well and upkeep is good too. If somehow ***agement can fix minor challenges highlighted above, Resort is definitely better than any other 5 Star one. Till that time it seems over priced in absence of service.

The resort is very good and the location is excellent. This is a perfect place to relax for a week from the daily busy life. Restaurant location on top of the hill is a very good attraction point. The staff is also very polite and helpful. Perfect getaway for couples.

The bed was very uncomfortable and we had back pain for several days and bathroom has fungus in it and lizards are common here . Other than this food was very good and resort ambience was good 😊 Thank You
