Juniper Motel Madras

friendly staff smal but very clean room. Went to Madras for the air sho, found the moyel in the middle of everything, nice.

Vintage property. Our room was newly updated with new furniture, nice TV, and new sink and shower, and toilet. The A/C worked well. The manager was fantastic, friendly, and ready to serve. We would definitely stay here again. Room was spotless. Don't judge a book by its cover when looking at the Juniper Motel.

I chose this place largely due to the positive ratings. My room smelled like ammonia, had a huge (8-inch) hole in the carpet, and multiple large stains on carpet. I didn't even think about turning down the bed and brought my sleeping bag and pillow in from the car. The room is about 20 feet from a state highway with loud traffic all night long. Coffee cans outside each room filled with cigarette butts complete the ambiance. Buyer beware.

Nice little independent motel. Nice king size beds with clean linens. Microwave and refrigerator. Would stay again.

Comfy bed, cold AC, great water pressure (careful of the hot water it gets really hot). Could use a better paint scheme inside and decor to take the echoing out of the room. Other than that great place!

The hostess was AMAZING!!!!! She was kind and generous and upgraded us to give our kids comfier sleeping space.

Pros: -The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive when we checked in. -The room was quite clean. -The bed was really comfortable! -The AC works well. -There was a fridge in the room. Cons: -The non-smoking room smelled like it had been a smoking room for 40 years and recently had a change of heart. -The room’s condition was poor. Holes in the carpet, black smut (Soot? Mold?) on the picture frames. There was a suspiciously fist-shaped hole in the bathroom door. The biggest thing I would say is that I would not have felt safe staying here alone as a woman. There were some men hanging around drinking and smoking outside of their rooms for a long time. At night, one of them came and knocked on our door to tell us he was “going downtown”. This was uncomfortable and made us a little worried about our safety. Overall, a fine place to stay if you just need a place to crash before a hike. Not a suitable location for women travelling alone.

An older one-story place right along the HI way. Our room was along the side, so we didn't have any traffic noise issues. If you're just passing through and want a place to sleep, it fits the bill.

Room was very clean, no odors, very comfy bed. Lady at check-in was super nice. A little maintenance has been neglected, but overall it was very pleasant and a real bargain. Would definitely stay here again
