The location was good. Easy access to metro within 3-4 minutes walking distance. Easy access to town as well. The rooms were clean. But otherwise what I didn’t like at all was the cleanliness in the kitchen area. It was very poor. They had mouldy open food in the fridge even though it was written they’d clean it regularly. Please make sure you take care of the kitchen seriously! And cleanup the unused food regularly as it can be a safety issue as well.

The kitchen and other facilities were excellent and well-equipped. However, depending on the room, it can get very noisy sometimes, so I guess it's just a matter of luck.

I chose a room with a private bathroom, and it was perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The high ceilings meant I could comfortably sit up in bed. While the soundproofing wasn't great, the room was otherwise pleasant and comfortable to use. Having two elevators made getting around convenient. The separate male and female restrooms looked clean.

Clean, friendly staff and the female dorm of 8 is awesome. You have privacy and have it's own bathroom inside the room.

Staff at every encounter were great and helpful. If I travel solo to Madrid, I will come again. Thank you all.

Located in Lavapies not far from the main attractions in city center and at walking distance to Atocha train station, it has a rooftop with a bar - it closes at night though and another cafeteria-like social area with a good kitchen by the lobby. As a large hostel it tends to have groups of first-time travellers but it is still possible to socialize; they promote games, walking tours, pub crawlings etc Beds are perfect, capsule style with curtains and air conditioner on all day long.

The staff member who checked me in was incredibly unfriendly. I initially thought it might be typical Spanish hospitality, but then I experienced how incredibly kind the staff were at other hostels in Spain afterward. The hostel's rooftop hosts parties every night, which are extremely loud. For tired travelers, it's definitely not an atmosphere conducive to relaxing. On my first night, my roommates started playing music and talking loudly at 10 PM, getting ready to go clubbing. Since I couldn't get any rest, I asked the reception to switch my room. They said all rooms were booked and they couldn't move me, but the staff member offered to go talk to them directly. The moment she walked into the room and spoke, an awkward silence fell, and I felt very uncomfortable. I wish they would consider the guest's perspective more when resolving issues. Also, the toaster was so dirty I couldn't even use it.

Literally theee best experience I have had on my solo trips.

I loved everything about my stay. There's a communal dining area with sofas, and a terrace on the 6th floor with city views. Two elevators were available. The bed was comfortable, and the mattress was excellent and firm. You can purchase a lock for your locker and rent a towel. Breakfast included free coffee and churros, and they offer 4 types of tea. There's also a communal fridge for food storage. We had a really pleasant chat with Daniel and Angela from the staff. I will definitely return here.

We enjoyed complimentary churros in the morning, which were absolutely delicious, along with coffee. The front desk staff were friendly, and the location is very convenient for sightseeing. While our family room came with a private toilet and shower, the sink was quite small, leading to water easily splashing onto the floor.

Excellent, completely exceeded expectations.

I love the location. It is just a walk from Sol and many other places.
