We are an American couple from California. We don't usually write reviews but our experience at this hotel was so special that we just had to write a review. Our room was very nice and comfortable, but it was the customer service that we found so excellent. From the moment we checked in with the wonderful welcome at the service desk, and for the four days we stayed, was always so friendly and helpful. The bellman and Adrian were ”standouts.” Patricia, the concierge, was incredible. She always went way out of her way to arrange side trips, extra services and extra details we needed. She was really wonderful and so gracious. For these reasons and much more we plan to return to this hotel again.

A wonderful experience at NH Paseo del Prado in Madrid. The ultimate breakfast experience! I had wanted to try the tomato on toast that I had heard about in Spain, but couldn't figure out how it was made. Miguel Angel, a fabulous waiter on the breakfast crew talked me through it, and helped me make this delicious treat. The entire hotel experience was great, but the very personal touch of MIguel Angel made the experience perfect!

Lovely hotel, amazingly centrally situated, and so we were able to walk to all the things we needed to see and do. Breakfast excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. Staff generally very kind and polite. Our one complaint was that the TV in the bedroom we had, kept losing or freezing the picture on the BBC world news channel, and a small icon kept appearing from LG, which after waiting a while restored the screen. We complained about this on the first morning we were there, and the reception noted it and siad an engineer would go and attend to it. This was not done and for the whole stay sadly we were frustrated by the TV which was really of no use to us what so ever. I have read other similar stories on Tripadvisor about the same complaint, and so clearly the hotel is aware of the problem but seemingly chooses not to do anything about it. This is a shame, beacuse something so easy, and expected would make a huge difference to one's enjoyment of the room. Other than that, really we had no complaints, and would certainly stay again.

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. Excellent staff- everyone was so friendly and helpful. We arrived very early from international flight and they let us check in early. Great location to walk to museums and great restaurants. Rooftop bar and pool were very nice- again, super friendly service. Nice complimentary bottled water and chocolates brought to the room in the evening. Needed to get shoes shined and they got it done for me. Nice artwork throughout hotel. Didn’t charge for drinks in mini fridge- nice touch. Did I mention how friendly everyone is?

Great location. Walking distance to many cafes and restaurants. We were surprised to learn that the hotel exterior was undergoing a renovation. We checked in our room at 4pm and could hear knocking and hacking on the wall. Thankfully we were just using the room to rest at night. Most of the daytime were spent exploring the city. It would be informative if the hotel inform the guests about the renovation but it is okay for us because we were out.

I'm probably bring slightly generous in my rating as this is a good hotel but not very good. However, I think it would be unfair to rate it as average which is the next rating scale on TripAdvisor. It's very conveniently located if you're coming into the main railway station and is a short walk away and there is an elevator to street level from the station if you have heavy suitcases. It's also a short walk to the Prado and the Reine Sofia but about a 30 minute walk up to Plaza Mayor. The rooms are comfortable and new. They're not very big but for a short stay they're adequate. The bathroom is of a fair size and the amenities in the room are good. They have breakfast at the hotel but we didn't use it so I can't comment.

We stayed at this hotel for our first trip to Madrid, it was the perfect choice. It is located within the main part of Gran Via and is next door to Zara, Mango, H&M and opposite Uniqlo. It’s within walking distance to many restaurants, the metro and the sights. We booked a rooftop view room and it did not disappoint, stunning view and very quiet. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The sink and shower are in the bedroom, the toilet is separate. We really valued the free soft drinks in the room every day, great touch. The wardrobe was also a good size. The TV in the room did not have many English channels but it allowed you to mirror your phone content. Really easy to use. The staff were all super friendly and all spoke English. When we checked in we were given free tote bags and vouchers for two free alcoholic drinks at the bar. The bar area is beautiful and doubles up as the breakfast area on a morning. It’s modern and clean and has a balcony if you want to sit outside. The rooftop bar is also gorgeous and has great view. We ate breakfast at the hotel for €14 each. It had lots of choice with everything from cereals, range of breads, cooked breakfast, fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, juices and danish pastries. We walked past many hotels during our trip and it really did feel like this hotel is in THE perfect location. Highly recommended, don’t hesitate to book.

I spent a few days in this hotel. The welcome was not really ” warm” (contrary to the weather). I think this is kind of an issue for me. I'd rather be in a hotel in which personnel is really friendly (and be in a mediocre room) than a hotel with people that are not really interested in their client. The room was comfortable and very good. Breakfast was served in a room that wasn't very interesting too. So...... great location, if you don't expect much welcome her you'll be in the right place. For me I'd say: step up and show some interest in your client (and having travelled to 100+ (probably even 200+?) hotels in the world, I can have an opinion about the matter.

This was our third time at Artrip and there's a reason why we choose this little boutique hotel whenever we visit Madrid: its prime location in the heart of the lively Lavapies neighborhood and impeccable customer service are both consistently top-notch. Tons of things to do, see, eat, and drink are all are super short walking distance from the hotel (including the renowned Prado Museum and beautiful Retiro park), plus there are supermarkets right down the street so you can pick up snacks, drinks, whatever you need (or forgot!) and enjoy them in your room, which comes with a minifridge to keep everything nice and cool. The cappuccino in the dining room is some of the best we've ever had and it's always available, along with cookies, water, and chilled prosecco. Upon check-in, the front desk staff always takes the time to show you a map of the area and point out recommendations and tips, which we always appreciate no matter how often we visit this lovely city. The memory foam beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are air-conditioned and well-lit -- most rooms have a small terrace which we loved sitting out on and taking in the action of the streets below. There's a small lift that will take you up to your room, although the stairs are quite beautiful in their own right; really cool lighting and live edge wood treads make taking them a pleasure rather than just exercise :) Artrip is our hotel of choice in Madrid!

這樣歐洲之行來回在馬德裏中轉了三次，住了三個不同類型的酒店，我可以非常負責任地說，這家hard rock是性價比最高，最符合高檔酒店期待的。首先從設計上來說，結構比較緊湊，但又不擁擠，一切都是新的，非常乾淨。酒店自帶餐飲很美味，價格也公允。前台小姐姐小哥哥熱情友好。對麪過個馬路就是索菲亞博物館，離atocha火車站五分鐘步行距離，十分鐘是麗池公園。 在馬德裏，酒店是很貴的，哪怕這個價位，能住的舒服不容易。謝謝這座酒店，讓我能快樂地躺平三晚！

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.
