What a find! Expectations were high and the hotel and its marvellous team did not disappoint. Location (a ten minute taxi ride from the airport and only a few minutes walk to the harbour), its styling, its service with a smile (especially Bella's at breakfast), Luisa, Anna - everyone so happy to see you, making sure everything was ok. Room with sunbed terrace on the top floor so beautifully designed, our twin beds and bedding just divine, sumptuous pillows (a pillow menu!), air con silent and effective, L'Occitane toiletries, room cleaned with care every day. The most perfect of continental breakfasts; smoked salmon, avo, mushrooms, fresh fruit, croissants etc...perfectly ripe and freshly baked. No rickety table or sticky menu, here. Bean-to-cup coffee machine and assorted tea bags free all day, snacks too at lunchtime. Small garden and pool downstairs was a lovely alternative for reading, whilst cooling in the pool, or playing cards in the shade. Library/reading room with its quality books and art, providing a serene and relaxing venue to escape the sun at its hottest. My friend and i have travelled a lot and we notice everything! This hotel was just fantastic in every way - this is how it should be done. We will definitely be back.

From Mahon Airport, bus L10 is a quick ride to bus station. Short walk to this modern 4* eco-aware hotel. Friendly welcome, comfortable quiet room with free coffee/tea, water refill, Wi-Fi etc. Very good buffet breakfast; and there's a lounge with complimentary beer & wine plus free snacks from 3pm. Pleasant stroll to main sites in the old town and you can even walk to one of the ancient Talayotic sites, Trepuco, which is free to visit. With the bus station so near the hotel, it's easy to take a day trip to former capital Ciutadella or nearby ex-garrison town Es Castell. Plenty of eateries in Mahon, and there's even a gin distillery with wide variety to sample.

We had a brilliant stay at Comitas Isla del Aire in July. The resort is lovely and relaxing. The staff are all very friendly and professional. They were happy to help with any request, nothing was too much. The reception staff (Veronica etc) even bought gifts for my wife and son as their birthdays fell within the holiday. They left Prosecco, juice and chocolates in our room. A wonderful surprise! The apartment was very clean, it had been refurbished recently. There were plenty of amenities in the apartment for self catering. The food for breakfast and dinner was all freshly cooked and delicious every day. There were different choices each day, with plenty of variation for different tastes. It was a good mix of meats, seafood, pastas, fruit, veg and desserts. My son enjoyed the freshly cooked churros and pancakes for breakfast! The pool area was also great, plenty of sun beds and chairs. Although we stayed in a ground floor apartment with private sun beds, which was very relaxing. There are pool tables, table tennis and a small play room for entertaining the kids. The pool itself is perfect, warm and with different depths for all the be comfortable. Punta Prima was a nice quiet resort. The beach was nice, but quite windy when we were there. There are a few good bars, restaurants and shops, with a small promenade. There is a small supermarket just metres away from the hotel. Overall a really enjoyable stay at Comitas Isla Del Aire, we’ll be back again!

Dernière pause de notre séjour à Minorque au combien décevante! La réception de cet “ hôtel “ ouvre à 16 h.Nous avons donc attendu qu ‘une dame nous “ accueille “.Cette dame arrive donc et se soucie prioritairement d ‘ enregistrer et d ‘ encaisser alors que nous avions la voiture en double file! On nous donne des codes pour nos chambres dont l’ ouverture ne se fait que par téléphone. Nous étions chargés et avons été étonnés qu il n ‘y ait pas d ‘ ascenseur ou bagagiste pour monter nos valises au dernier étage . Et cette dame sur un ton ironique au prétexte d ‘ un humour anglais nous a répondu qu il ne fallait pas en faire un drame et qu ‘ elle les porterait!Heureusement que nous avons des maris galants qui lui ont évité de monter 4 valises de 20 kgs ! Évidemment le lendemain matin pour notre départ à 6 h 30 , il n y avait personne ! Si vous êtes âgés ou à mobilité réduite , abstenez vous !Et n ‘ oubliez pas votre téléphone ! La petite piscine est encaissée dans la cour de l hôtel. Vous trouverez du café soluble dans ces chambres à près de 300 euros la nuit mais des produits « Rituals »! Des chambres cependant tout à fait correctes ! Bref cet hôtel ne mérite pas cette appellation au regard du peu d ‘ égards pour ses hôtes et du sens galvaudé que l ‘ ironique «  réceptionniste «  donne au mot accueil.

Overall, a good value place to stay. As other reviews have said, the decor is a little dated, but perfectly acceptable, and the apartment was as clean as one would hope. End of June was unexpectedly quiet, but in a good way. Bus to Mahon runs hourly from the bottom of the road (5 mins walk) and is Euro 1.80 each way. Plenty of space to park if you hire a car. Some great restaurants in the town (recommend Casa Fermin) and a great beach. Only minor issue was the air-con wasn't great, but hey ... it's 32 degrees in June in the Med ... so we knew what to expect. Breeze through the apartment cooled it in the day, just a bit warm overnight. Would definitely go back.

We voelden ons zeer welkom in Rafael en Anna's kasteel. Kamer klein maar schoon en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Alleen de douchecabine was erg krap, maar overdwars pasten we er net in. Dagelijks schone handdoeken en schoonmaak van de kamer. 2 keer van Anna's keuken genoten. Menu eenvoudig maar smaakvol

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour sa position géographique, son design et la note/ les commentaires élogieux sur google à propos de l'établissement et son personnel accueillant. Lors de notre séjour, nous avons pu constater et apprécier tous les points positifs relevés par les autres vacanciers. L'hôtel est conforme aux différentes photos que l'on peut trouver, la propreté dans la chambre et dans les lieux communs (piscine, etc..) est impeccable. Les deux points suivants ont dépassés nos attentes en terme de prestations : - Le petit déjeuner qualitatif avec des propositions différentes chaque matin. - L'accueil. Un personnel attentionné, toujours jovial et sensible au bien etre de ses résidents. Un grand merci à Leon, toujours prêt à rendre service et à donner des conseils pour profiter au maximum de cette belle île. Il a su faire passer notre séjour dans une autre dimension par ses adresses d'endroits à visiter et ses restaurants (nous sommes allé au El Chivito, Martin n'était pas la mais son hermanos :-) très gentil également ). Un grand merci également à l'autre homme à l'accueil qui nous a accueilli lors de notre arrivé (je ne connais pas son prénom malheureusement mais il se reconnaitra). Sympathique et empathique notamment vis à vis d'un soucis indépendant de l'hôtel que nous avons rencontré (vehicule de location...) . Pour conclure, assurément un des meilleurs hôtel où nous avons séjourné ! Nous nous en souviendrons longtemps et essayerons d'y revenir
