Aunque las habitaciones son correctas y tienen las comodidades que se pueden esperar hoy en día, el hotel necesita una reforma urgentemente. Se nota que tiene unos cuantos años a la espalda y necesita una reforma/actualización prontamente. Las habitaciones son relativamente espaciosas, con TV, minibar y un baño igualmente espacioso. Pero tiene detalles como fruto del tiempo, especialmente en el baño. De manera adicional y seguro que tuve mala suerte, una de las dos camas que tenía en la habitación tenía unas patas sobredimensionadas, por lo que cada vez que pasaba por el pasillo, golpe en el pie, por lo que si estabas descalzo, no era nada agradable. Por último, y esto es importante en el caso de ir por trabajo, la WIFI es bastante deficiente, con un ancho de banda muy limitado y con frecuentes interrupciones.

Overall I was disappointed with our stay, considering this is a 5 star hotel. Positives: - the concierge and reception staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for the guests. They really are an asset to the hotel. - the rooms were spotlessly cleaned every day, the housekeeping staff were fantastic - the view from the grounds was lovely - car hire from organised by the hotel was good value and very convenient Negatives: - our room had a view over the carpark and despite booking for a whole week, we weren’t treated to a better position. We weren’t even able to guarantee a double room ahead of arrival, despite enquiring about this. - the aircon was noisy and behind the thick curtains so was only effective with the curtains open at night - the restaurant staff did not offer good service. We had to chase them to take our order every time and were quite rude at times - breakfast was poor value and the terms were a little confusing. The sausages and bacon were poor quality and the scrambled eggs were rubbery - there is no bar, no atmosphere if you just want a drink before dinner - the pool area is tiny and offered no waiter service - the wifi was patchy - the tv was slow and there was no way to connect via Bluetooth or cast from phone - the room had no floor length mirror - travelling to and from Malaga was more arduous than I’d hoped. Walking is a chore after the first couple of times so involves taxis. Even the scooter / bike hire points were a long walk. - local cafes and restaurants in the very close by area weren’t great quality Next time we travel to Malaga we will undoubtedly stay elsewhere, I would definitely not return to this hotel.

Ya he perdido la cuenta de las veces que he confiado en este maravilloso equipo para celebrar cumpleaños, comuniones… hasta días de los enamorados y me siguen sorprendiendo siempre. La calidad de sus platos, combinando sabores tradicionales sin olvidar la innovación son siempre éxito seguro. Pero el servicio es espectacular, la amabilidad de todas las personas que trabajan en el Hotel Cortijo Chico, hacen que siempre quieras volver. Siempre dispuestos a ayudar con profesionalidad, aconsejando adecuadamente y sin olvidar nunca la sonrisa. Gabriel, Antonio y un sinfín de personas consiguen con su trato amable engrandecer cualquier evento que quieras celebrar dentro del marco incomparable de sus jardines.

El personal muy amable y el hotel genial ubicado. El desayuno muy justito, a penas había fruta y el café es malisimo. Los colchones cómodos y las habitaciones limpias y luminosas.

The male receptionist welcomed us warmly and was very attentive. We only stayed here for one night as we had an early flight to catch to go to the airport. Unfortunately, I had a pretty restless night as the street noises were quite loud as our room was on the street facing side. I think this is less of an issue if you ask for a room on the other side. We were given an accessible double bedroom which wasn't bad and we felt comfy in.

I love this hotel for it's location, it is right in the centre with shops, bars, restaurants all on your doorstep and a short walk away from all the main attractions in the area. The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout and there is a fabulous rooftop bar/restaurant where you can sit and sip cocktails with views across the city and cathedral. The staff in all departments are so courteous and nothing is too much trouble. They catered for my dietary requirements efficiently (allergies), I felt really relaxed and reassured whilst eating in the restaurant. I was contacted by phone the day before my visit to see if I had any special requests and was looked after by Nuria from Guest experience throughout the stay. Although the hotel is right in the centre of town it was not at all noisy at night time and I slept well in the lovely comfortable bed. The air con and wifi were spot on, as were the facilities in the room and bathroom. This was my second stay in this hotel and will only ever chose this hotel for my future trips to Malaga. I have never stayed in any other Vincci hotel, but will make it a priority to book with this group for trips to other destinations, if the Larios Diez is anything to go by. I would like to thank all at this lovely hotel for making my trip so pleasurable and am looking forward to returning a 3rd time.
