Ulasan Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport

This is the only option for overnight stay near Malaga airport. We had problems with check-in. We booked a room through trip.com and the hotel staff could not process our reservation correctly. The problem was resolved in about an hour. The hotel itself is quite good, however, despite the fact that it is located only one and a half kilometers from the airport, you will not get to the airport without a taxi - there is no sidewalk along the highway, no pedestrian path.

Be aware that you cannot wark to the airport from hotel and the price to the airport in a taxi is similar as coming from central Málaga. So if you are using it as a quick base to get to and from airport it is worth just staying in the city. The room was perfectly fine.

Hotel operates 24/7, early morning coffee from 4 am.

The male receptionist welcomed us warmly and was very attentive. We only stayed here for one night as we had an early flight to catch to go to the airport. Unfortunately, I had a pretty restless night as the street noises were quite loud as our room was on the street facing side. I think this is less of an issue if you ask for a room on the other side. We were given an accessible double bedroom which wasn't bad and we felt comfy in.

- On the breakfast was a huge waiting line and was told to bring food and eat at the room :) + free parking + reasonable price

Short stay only. Quite good and cheap hotel.

Nice staff and good location. I arrived at midnight and hire a car on the next morning. The hiring company is just 3 minutes walk from the hotel!

The hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel. Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway. The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning. The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway) The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower) Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.

Close to the airport but not next door. Probably a 30 minute walk. Simple, reliable set-up and basic breakfast. They gave me a twin room which was a bit silly as I was a single traveler but then on request changed it to a double.

the air condition of the hotel is good. it is quiet even near the highway, but the shower is too weak, especially for hot water. breakfast is very good.

So clean and so easy for airport...!!
