Night manager David was most helpful and welcoming when we arrived one late Monday evening. This newish business hotel is conveniently adjacent to the Boulevard Périphérique Paris (Paris Ring Road) making it highly accessible from the CDG airport in just thirty minutes. We were tired after the long flight so we were very grateful that he checked us in so promptly for our ten-night stay. With our platinum Bonvoy status David also upgraded us to the Junior Suite (#122) with a view of the pleasant inner courtyard garden. The spacious trapezoidal shaped room came with large sofa, writing desk, super king size bed, large closet and an integrated compact fridge, safe and beverage bar. The bathroom was also extremely specious. Everything smelt clean and looked spotless. Our requests for extra pillows, hangers and toiletries were always met promptly. Housekeeping did a very good job. Our reservation came with daily breakfast which is served on the ground floor. An amply above average spread - but more importantly the quality is very apparent in spite of the lack of a live station preparing eggs. All in all, CMPdV comes highly recommended. Their team managing the front desk are irreproachable.

The hotel was lovely to stay in, with well-kept, clean rooms and helpful staff (special thanks to Tanjim for assuring a smooth check-in process and arranging everything for us, security at night (unfortunately I don't remember the name) for helping us out everytime). Exploring the city was easier too due to the location's convenience. Overall, it was a pleasant and reasonably priced experience.

I chose it because of the convenient location and familiarity of the brand. It is a 3-star hotel and a basic one, so no in room safe box - which was actually the only disadvantage I found (and believe that nowadays also 3-star hotels should have) or coffee machine. My room was quite spacious and clean with comfortable bed, the bathroom nice and clean as well, with basic toiletries (so no lotion) attached - common but in time of pandemic I would prefer individual ones. Wifi worked nicely, tv with mostly French-speaking channels and few English ones, however without a tone (?). The breakfast was quite nice, various cold dishes including smoked salmon, just eggs as for something warm, fresh orange juice, and Nespresso coffee if you want to pay extra which I gladly did. The staff was professional and helpful. The hotel is near the train station and next to it is a huge building site, however it was not noisy at all.

The cabin room was actually pretty small & tight to start with. It actually is a 4 bed dormitory divided into 4 cabins (made of wood). There isn't enough space in the room because it's literally just the bed. So you can easily hear what the other person is playing on the mobile. Moreover, the breakfast is pretty basic. The staff at the reception was very helpful, I requested for a late checkout and they helped me.

Snacking et bar à des prix plus que raisonnables. Pour les personnes âgées un seul bémol, ka marche pour accéder à la douche est trop élevée

Surprisingly nice hotel with studio/apartment rooms including a small kitchen. You wont get better than this for the price in this area of Paris. Rooms are very clean and spacious with all necessities available. Beds are comfortable and I really had nothing to complain about. Reception/lobby is open 24/7 and the Boy working in the reception are very helpful. Big thanks to the boy all their assistance along our 6 nights stay in Room No 227, (our check in and check out date is 2024 04 24- 2024-04-30) The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs and there are many nice restaurants outside and nearby, including Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants. I can easily recommend this place to anyone.

Really nice place to stay. People are friendly and shower tools are good.Good location. Restaurant is good for breakfast. You can encounter people all over the world. That’s the choice!

Yes, rooms are very small by US standards, smaller than the smallest room I saw at the College Park (Atlanta Airport) Econo Lodge. However, they are twice as big as what they call “single rooms” in London’s budget hotels, which are half way between the traditional English phone booth and a small US closet, where you sleep in a tiny 90 centimeters army cot WITHOUT AC for the price you pay at the Los Angeles LAX Sheraton! At this CHOICE COMFORT HOTEL PORTE D’IVRY at least, you will sleep in a double bed in a small but clean room WITH AC, tiny desk and phone, and a full bath with the biggest shower (3 times bigger) that I’ve ever seen in Europe, together with the one of room 823 at the Orly Best Western Plus, which is the same size. It also has a sink with a hair dryer and a private “wishing well”, the greatest invention of mankind… Those amenities such as a big refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board that I always see in all CHOICE HOTELS (whether Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, etc.) in the US for around $100 with buffet breakfast included, are just a dream in Europe, so forget about it! I’ll say the same about the ice machine, which we find even in cheapest motels, and sometimes on every floor in high-end hotels like the Clarion. Forget it! The only place where I have seen an ice machine outside of the US was at the Gran Hotel Argentino in Buenos Aires, after I harassed the manager during more than seven years asking for it during every trip in the 1990s! THE MAIN ASSET of this Comfort Hotel Porte d’Ivry is its LOCATION. A short 4 blocks walk will put you at “Porte d’Ivry”, where you will see the terminal of bus 27 to go to “Quartier Latin”, “Notre-Dame”, “Opéra” and “Gare Saint-Lazare”, and also the terminal of bus 83, which will take you to “Port Royal” and “Sèvres-Babylone”. At the same “Porte d’Ivry”, you will also see the “Métro” (subway) line 7 going from “La Courneuve” in the north of Paris to “Mairie d’Ivry” in the south. If you enjoy traveling underground, this line will take you straight to “Chatelet” and “Opéra”. But I prefer to do that journey with bus 27. Last but not least, at that “Porte d’Ivry”, you will be able to take TRAM 3a, which circles Paris on the south and will take you from “Pont du Garigliano” on the west, to “Porte de Vincennes” on the east, where you will be able to take TRAM 3b, which circles Paris on the north side, and will take you to “Porte de la Chapelle”, where you will be able to take bus 350 to Roissy CDG. And if you fly to Orly, as I do with Iberia via Madrid, now that American Airlines have discontinued their nonstop flights 62 and 63 between Miami and Paris, then you can take the ORLYBUS and get off at the first stop in Paris, by my beloved Cité Universitaire, where I lived the best five years of my long life in the 1960s, then walk a block to “Montsouris” and take TRAM 3a to “Porte d’Ivy”, only six stations away. The rooms are very dated. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have had in over a month in Europe. Food and drink at the bar however was limited and very pricey. The location of the hotel is on a busy street without much to see. You need to take a car to get anywhere.

We stayed as a family of 4 at this hotel and it was good quality. There was an issue with the hotel as they had cancelled our room due to some confusion. This was resolved but took some time and was nerve racking for us on the day we arrived but the manager did well in getting us a room in mid April half term. The pool was nice but we had an incident where some male guests were taking pictures of my young daughters in the pool, even with me there and making me feel uncomfortable. I raised this issue with the manager and he said he would look into but nothing was done and no feedback was given back to me - this is very worrying! My thoughts are good hotel, good location, some staff are really good but needs to work on customer service for important incidents involving young children. Makes me think that I would be cautious letting kids run around in this hotel and pool alone thus please be warned. Breakfast was not bad but not out of this world and restaurants around hotel are good.
