Service was excellent - shout out to Afiffa in the main restaurant that did everything short of handstands to make sure I was well taken care of. If its your first Maldives trip - most resorts occupy the entire island. This means that you do not need to carry any currency or form of payment as you just bill your room for everything. It also means that you only eat and shop at the resort. To shop or eat of the resort you need to take the water taxi back to Male'. Therefore you need to factor at least half board into your trip costs or expect an average meal to run $50 per head.
The diving was world class and the dive shop was very well equipped with a comfortable and easy to use dive boat. Beautiful pool area if you can drag yourself away from the beach that looks like the ones on the 'Paradise Calendars'.
I will go again!

Nice resort near to Velana International Airport. Beautiful beach. Services is ok for private island resort,but i’m personally not impressed. Breakfast was good but again not impressed. Overall,nice resort.

The hotel is very old and run down. The service is terrible, staff is not flexible to requests of guests, the staff in the Sea Breeze restaurant is rude and not attentive.
The all-inclusive package is very deceiving: dining is only valid in 1 of the restaurants, the quality of food is horrible: oily, the ingredients are very poor quality, and repetitive. We stayed for 6 nights and by the 3rd day we were sick of the food selection. The dessert is not edible: looks nice but actually tasteless. Not worth the money to be honest.
Cleanliness is below average: there are red worms coming out of the shower drain.
We booked the sand bar picnic tour and paid 100 USD per person. The island where they took us is full of garbage (water bottles, used bbq grill and pots, plastic) left by people who grilled there. We got 1 tuna sandwich, some cut fruits and drinks for 100USD. The Bandos boat crew could’ve easily spent the 3-hour tour time cleaning the mess on the sand bar island, but rather they just sat in the boat.
The only positive thing is the nice staff at the kids club.
Stay away from this hotel. It’s a 2-star hotel quality with a 4-star price. Never going back here again.

Our stay was amazing! Beautiful island, excellent service and all the people who work there are super nice and friendly. We rented Beachfront room, it was perfectly located, very close to the beach and with beautiful view from the porch. Food was delicious, we had a really great time during our stay. The island is about 15 minutes speedboat ride from the airport which is vey convenient and the hotel met us at the airport and planned our ride back. We also loved that it super quiet with lot of trees and plants. We had a short stay, but will definitely visit again, highly recommend.

For first timers to Maldives, this should be your first stop. Close to airport but far enough to feel free in the tropical bliss of island life. Everything was excellent from clean sandy beaches to crystal clear waters; staff, buffet food, villas, room service, quietude. The most reasonably priced starter resort in Maldives. Shouout to Jai from reception, a future General Manager! No fear to try Bandos for your initial visit to the marvelous Maldives.

The experience was very nice. We really enjoyed the buffet, the beach and all the marine life.
The island is small so you can wall around in about 20 min and choose your perfect spot to spend some time.
I would not recommend the Beach Villa because the view is the worst of the island. (Facing Malé, many big boat, no shadow area...)
When we arrived we complained about the view and wanted to change to a cheaper garden villa with a refund. (Those have the best view of the island, but comments saying they are getting old)
The hotel didn't want to refund so they gave us a Premium Beach Villa. The view is a bit better but the villa is much better. So for swim and sunbath we walk about 10 min to found a nicer spots.
The hotel is very close from Malé so in a way you have a very short transit between the airport and hotel, but in an other hand you can see the airport from the island...

Excellent experience! Standard double room very nice, spacious and clean. Small plumbering issue in the bathroom was fixed quickly after our call. Food was great, both at breakfast and at dinner time. Multiple options, well cooked. Staff polite and friendly. Already recommending it to friends.

The only bad experience was during check in when the staff insisted I booked through ******* and got the number of adults wrong.
Other than that, great resort with great facilities and food. Staff (except the check in reception staff) was really friendly and helpful.
