Great clean property that went above and beyond when it came to cleaning and friendliness to its patrons. We flew around the world and they made us feel very welcomed. Just know you won’t know what’s all inclusive until you get there and it’s not all inclusive but it’s still worth the price in my Opinion especially if you don’t want premium liquor. Don’t use the mini bar, it’s pointless and they charge you a lot of money for the same product if you get it free with all inclusive at the different outlets around the facility

We stayed here for one night before flying out. It was a very good stay. No frills, just what was needed for a transit stay. The room was clean, amenities were good, the included breakfast was great and the fact that they included one-way airport transport was a bonus. They were also flexible with check-in (possibly a factor being we travelled during non peak months). The one downside, if it matters, is that the property is not beach-facing. Though it's a 2 minute walk away. The locality itself is fabulous. The beach is great, a public park (with skate ramp!) is nearby, and there are several options for restaurants. It's a good budget pick for a hotel for a one-night (or more) stay. I'd certainly stay in Hulhumale again rather than the more crowded Male!

The hotel staff was absolutely delightful and extremely friendly. Special thank you to Ash and Yejin for looking after me and my son during our stay. It was just me and my son travelling so the activities they have for kids everyday helped keep us busy and entertained. The room was spectacular and clean The pool was the best experience for my son and he truly enjoyed it to the fullest We had a lovely and a memorable holiday thanks to the hotel and the staff

What other hotel in the world gives you a Bon Voyage cake for breakfast on the day of checking out? Admittedly I'd been staying there for nearly 3 weeks, but when the cake turned up with the kitchen staff in tow it was a surprising culmination to 3 weeks of excellent service, tasty food, and comfortable sleeping. The hotel is very conveniently located within 5 minutes' walk of the ferry from the airport. Or you can take the hotel’s car, but why would you not take a boat in the Maldives? There’s a choice of restaurants, breakfast with just about every choice you could wish for, and a small gym. There’s also a pool next to the roof-top restaurant with the best view in the Indian Ocean. Most people probably spend only a day or two in Male, but if you’re looking for somewhere very pleasant to spend that time, Hotel Jen should be at the top of your list.

From the second we got there - we were treated amazingly! From the check in process to the room to everything in between - the start of our honeymoon couldn’t be more spectacular. First the service - very attentive and helpful, and they had all these special treats for us because it was our honeymoon. Second the room - feels like a NY high rise but every inch was meticulously planned with a balcony and ocean view - it was the best. The front staff are very helpful, we got to explore the capital a bit before leaving which was a great experience - such a rich culture! The food was amazing as well - the dinner was so tasty, and the buffet breakfast included was phenomenal. We can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10!!

到機場有工作人員舉牌子等着。然後坐着車回酒店就行。全程行李不用自己搬。15 分鐘車程。到酒店有歡迎果汁。房間在 2 樓， 不過晚上酒店外面一直有摩託車的聲音。還是挺吵的。 衹能湊合一下。或者戴個耳塞比較好。房間的環境屬於國內 3快捷酒店的水平。這個價格性價比還是一般般。房間會有信告訴我們 我們 8 點退房。告訴我們對應酒店的櫃枱編號。然後幫我們拿行李送到機場。基本不需要自己去找地方。

First of all they didn’t arrange anyone to pick us from airport and we had to go by ourselves and carry 4 luggage with a small kid ! And they said it’s trip’s app problem! Room very small and view to the another building’s window. Room had no slippers , soap , shampoo and other necessities, called them 4 times and asked , they said ok we will come and check but finally they didn’t until we checked out ! Price not match with the hotel’s quality Breakfast was ok restaurant’s food was great

A well deserved jewel of a property which deserves more credit than most around! Went on a last minute booking the staff spoken to me offered a great rate and was very helpful even before coming to the hotel! Upon arrival to the hotel the staff greeted me and my girlfriend and we were met upon with a great receptionist Afzal who deserves more credit than most as he was very good to us and explained everything to us! However i di have to say one downside is that upon check-in late night my girlfriend felt uncomfortable as there were some local men saying something in their local language to the receptionist while we were checking in! However Afzal politely told us that they were some friends who were just joking around with him! But after that it didn't bother us! We actually enjoyed our stay we were blown away by the Deluxe room that we booked as it was just AMAZING and we have been to many hotels around and it just gave us a very comfortable vibe! It felt like home and we enjoyed every bit of our stay here! The staff was very good to us during breakfast greeted us with a smile and served us! We felt very comfortable during breakfast as well and we were happy with the service! However the only downside on breakfast is that it's a very light breakfast and not much selections at all! But overall the breakfast experience was very good! Also need to give a good review for the Housekeeping staff as well! They were very polite and very helpful asked us whether we needed anything as we extended our stay after breakfast and was having a good attitude and a breath smile! How ever i would recommend that you provide sealed bottles of fresh water in exchange to refilling the water bottles from another big bottle! Which the guests would be much more comfortable in drinking as its very important for all humans! Lastly again have to give a special thankyou for Afszal the receptionist as he was a Star! And took care of all our needs and was very professional! He made our stay feel like at home! I should know.. I am a worldwide hotelier as well! I definitely recommend this place for everyone and i will specially recommend this place for my friends if they wanna visit Hulhumale alone or with family or their girlfriend! It's completely safe! And very clean! A BIG thank you for ALL the staff! Well done!

There’s only one power outlet in our room. So i have to remove the tv and frdge plug just to charge my other devices. There’s a common area where you can use the dining table and sofa. Internet is not stable. It’s very slow and some times it’s not working. The toilet is very smelly. Room is very old. It doesn’t look like a hotel. This needs a major renovation. Our booking have a free airport transfer. Funny tho, upon check out I was expecting for a “car” for the airport transfer but only to find out that the so-called “airport transfer” is via PUBLIC FERRY. If only I knew I would’ve took a cab to go to the airport. On the brighter side, location is perfect. Near the jetty, and bus stops.

We visited the hotel while back on our visit to Maldives. The hotel is located in the center of the island and anywhere is easily accessible on foot. Hotel is a very old one but renovated recently. There is some wear and tear in the hotel but not a lot. The staff in the hotel are very friendly. Starting from the check in, the staff was eagerly helping us. The kitchen staff we met in the restaurant were also very friendly. The food we had in the hotel including the breakfast buffet and other snacks were satisfactory. The rooms were not big as the rooms we see in other countries, however, considering my previous experience, the size is standard for the Malé city. Generally hotel was cleane, however, there is a room for improvement in the cleanliness. One of our friend's room had no working power outlets for him to charge his devices. The available power outlets were not working properly. Roads around the hotel are not very big (compared to roads in other countries but typical for Malé) and has lots of construction sites around the hotel. But it is just few minute walk from the famous Majeedhee Magu. This is not a vacationing hotel, it is more like a motel, but I can recommend this hotel for a short stay in the Malé city.

I stayed two nights in November 2022. Hotel is in a good location in the phase 1 area of Hulhumale, many restaurants and shops nearby. Room was basic, but comfortable for the price point. Breakfast was very basic, but adequate. A/C worked well and there was hot water in the shower. The internet was wonky. It usually worked, but sometimes cut out. There was a voucher system that allowed for one device at a time, and using the voucher on the reception area network prevented using that same voucher on a higher floor (where the guest rooms are) network. The front desk guys were good about issuing another voucher as necessary, but it was a hassle to go down to the reception. For those going to/from the airport, there is a bus in Male, but tourists are not encouraged to use it (it is more complicated than it needs to be--you cannot buy tickets on the bus, you must buy them at stores or the post office or download an app that only locals have). Nevertheless, there is a bus stop close to this hotel, so you don't need to use a taxi. One of the front desk workers was great with advice or any questions about Hulhumale, but the other worker was only (overly) excited about calling a taxi (I needed to tell him 3 times that I ”didn't need a taxi, stop calling it”). It is one of the more affordable hotels in Male/Hulhumale, I would stay here again. 4/5

Hotel staff does not forget to remind you each and every second, that visitors are not allowed. I was visiting Male for a day and had a hectic day as the next day I had to catch an international flight, I met a few of my ex colleagues and wanted to go for lunch upstairs. Since they brought me gifts and I thought I could drop the gifts in the room on my way to the cafe upstairs plus my friends could also just peek into my room to use the bathroom. On our way, the guy at the reception reminded me that visitors were not allowed, however, I informed him that we are going to the cafe upstairs and we are just going to drop the bags and go back to the cafe. Well at first he said “ sure” & they could enter. After a few seconds of entering the room, I received a call from the same guy, who informed me the same thing again regarding the visitors. I respectfully said sure we will be heading upstairs and it will be a few minutes only. I was counting and again after 15second I get a call from the same guy and informed the same. I and my friends got frustrated and didn't even use the bathroom and left for lunch. Well, I was disheartened because its not the only time I am visiting a 5 star hotel, moreover, I, myself work in the tourism industry. As you might have known by now our mood was completely off, and we thought to skip lunch and have an evening tea. We ordered some Maldivian short eats and delicacies and requested tea before getting the short eats. Took 30 minutes to get a cup of tea. Completely absurd. We left the place very upset. The guys at the reception, do not greet until you are a tourist. If you are specially a local like me, you will be discriminated and most of the time you wont even get a smile from them. Racism in your country? ! SAD. Few foreign girls working in the restaurants are really kind and goes above and beyond to make sure your order is right. However, Later in the evening I went for dinner and the guy who attended me was absolutely disrespectful, firstly he got my order wrong, when I told him that he started becoming defensive. Overall I had the worst experience ever. Thank you

衛生：馬代這個價位的酒店最要緊的就是比拼乾淨，這家做的就太好了，房間本身是比較小的，但很乾凈，衛生間特別打掃乾淨，而且沒有任何異味。就這一點已經值回票價。 服務：過度酒店，第二個要緊的是transfer的便捷。入住時候告知下一個目的地，酒店會主動幫忙聯繫好接送。而且酒店本身就在artificial main stage，距離近的很。轉水飛快艇都需要從這裏回機場島，10分鐘就到了。主動提行李什麼的，算是馬代的標配了。 超預期的是，早餐地方很小，但卻有無敵的風景。住在8層，早餐在9層，都是直視海景。樓下的鴿子成羣絕對是難忘的回憶。值得再次途徑的酒店。

llegue y sabia que me exponía a lo que decían los comentarios pero no pensaba que sería tan malo , cuando llegó la mujer en recepción intenta engañarme quería por 12 dólares cobrarme 290 Rufiyas le dije que no , y al final le di dolares . pues en recepción olía una peste a Morillo a comida olía muy mal daba asco , cuando subes las escaleras son estrechas muy empinadas es decir cuidado al bajar sobre todo . llegamos a la habitación el chico había vaciado un bote de spray tipo ambientador que no podías respirar , cuando fui al baño una peste , un olor más desagradable a alcantarilla pues digo voy abrir la ventana , y tuve que cerrarla por que era vomitivo os dejo unas fotos aquí , el patio si se puede llamar patio era un vertedero de basura , había de todo y el problema es el olor . que no puedes con el es una cosa que pagar casi 60 euros por la habitación no se puede permitir , el baño me lo dieron lleno de agua dejo fotografías todo lleno de agua , el espejo y sucio en mal estado , donde te lavas la Manos oxidado y quitado de su sitio , era todo repugnante , con el agobio me fui a sentar era mejor sent**** en el suelo los colchones eran piedra literal nunca lo había visto he visto colchones en los contenedores mejores que esos no eran normales , el armario viejo ,malo y feo el espejo de la habitación en mal estado . nos dejaron 2 colchones allí así como si de trastero se tratase . el Cabezero estaba roto y el olor que tenia era indescriptible os dejo foto de todo para que opinéis vosotros mismos. estaba sucio pero sucio sucio sucio no era normal es que yo eso estoy acostumbrado a verlo en los contenedores no en un “hotel” es que es una locura lo que vivimos . bueno pues me encuentro en esta situación con mi pareja , nos mentían en todo decía que había tetera no estaba decía que tenia vistas? sii al patio de basura . era una habitación con humedad que Booking.com no debería permitir que trabajaran con ellos. el trato de la recepcionista me quiso engañar , la limpieza ,el mal estado de la habitación todo viejo, roto ,oxidado ,el mal olor de toda la habitación , las vistas al patio interior al abrir la ventana era un vertedero , el baño daba grima usarlo , el olor del baño era alcantarilla y humedad , el colchón de la cama no era un colchón es tipo tabla dura nunca lo había visto , que te mienten y te dan una descripción que es todo mentira , el armario estaba en mal estado los espejos también ,el Cabezero sucio roto y con olor , éramos dos y nos dejan solo una toalla . el papel higiénico nos dejaron medio rollo , el trato de desprecio cuando intento irme educadamente y encima se quedan con 56 euros míos y tuve que pagar otra noche de hotel en otro lugar . no vayáis confiar en mi mensaje hay más opciones pagar 10 euros más no vayáis . imagínate como estaba la habitación imagínate como será el desayuno . no puede ser y encima no me dijo perdón podemos arreglarlo de alguna manera te doy algo de dinero de tus 56 euros , o te cambio de habitación pero n

Room was very small but clean. Decent for an overnight stay to catch a seaplane. Breakfast was lovely. Don't request a wake up call because you will be told to set an alarm on your phone. Owner, Thomas, told me upon check out that he ”had a problem with me” and said Agoda (who I booked through) hadn't paid him for my stay. I figured it was pay upon stay as I wasn't charged at time of booking 9 months prior or since. I paid him, even though it was significantly higher than the rate I booked via Agoda, and was on my way. I got home a few days later and realized Agoda had ALSO charged me for the room. I contacted Thomas immediately about a refund, less the water we took from the minibar, and was never responded to. I tried to dispute the charge on my cc and he fought it and so has now been paid twice for my stay. Agoda will also not respond to me. The cleanliness and breakfast was certainly not worth what I paid. Steer clear.

I had few expectations for this modest new hotel in the middle of rough-and-tough Male, but for a brief overnight layover it proved absolutely perfect. The airport pick-up was charming and efficient, the check-in staff was exemplary—gracious, professional and kind—and the room itself was clean, modern and had everything one might need. When we had to check out at 6:00 a.m. they even provided us with two huge packed breakfasts consisting of toast, sausages, pancakes, muffins, watermelon and eggs! It was a perfect distillation of a place that went beyond the call of duty in every way, with impeccable English-speaking staff from India and the Philippines. I would strongly recommend it to anyone overnighting in the capital before or after a connection to a faraway atoll.

We visited the hotel while back on our visit to Maldives. The hotel is located in the center of the island and anywhere is easily accessible on foot. Hotel is a very old one but renovated recently. There is some wear and tear in the hotel but not a lot. The staff in the hotel are very friendly. Starting from the check in, the staff was eagerly helping us. The kitchen staff we met in the restaurant were also very friendly. The food we had in the hotel including the breakfast buffet and other snacks were satisfactory. The rooms were not big as the rooms we see in other countries, however, considering my previous experience, the size is standard for the Malé city. Generally hotel was cleane, however, there is a room for improvement in the cleanliness. One of our friend's room had no working power outlets for him to charge his devices. The available power outlets were not working properly. Roads around the hotel are not very big (compared to roads in other countries but typical for Malé) and has lots of construction sites around the hotel. But it is just few minute walk from the famous Majeedhee Magu. This is not a vacationing hotel, it is more like a motel, but I can recommend this hotel for a short stay in the Malé city.

On nous a donné des bons conseils de visite.(par exemple l'ile de Vilingili, très proche).... mais seulement le 2e jour Par contre , le 1er jour à la réception a été incapable de nous donner un plan et de nous indiquer le chemin pour aller au centre islamique (on nous a envoyé à l 'autre bout de l'ile!) ) . What other hotel in the world gives you a Bon Voyage cake for breakfast on the day of checking out? Admittedly I'd been staying there for nearly 3 weeks, but when the cake turned up with the kitchen staff in tow it was a surprising culmination to 3 weeks of excellent service, tasty food, and comfortable sleeping. The hotel is very conveniently located within 5 minutes' walk of the ferry from the airport. Or you can take the hotel’s car, but why would you not take a boat in the Maldives? There’s a choice of restaurants, breakfast with just about every choice you could wish for, and a small gym. There’s also a pool next to the roof-top restaurant with the best view in the Indian Ocean. Most people probably spend only a day or two in Male, but if you’re looking for somewhere very pleasant to spend that time, Hotel Jen should be at the top of your list.

Room was very small but clean. Decent for an overnight stay to catch a seaplane. Breakfast was lovely. Don't request a wake up call because you will be told to set an alarm on your phone. Owner, Thomas, told me upon check out that he ”had a problem with me” and said Agoda (who I booked through) hadn't paid him for my stay. I figured it was pay upon stay as I wasn't charged at time of booking 9 months prior or since. I paid him, even though it was significantly higher than the rate I booked via Agoda, and was on my way. I got home a few days later and realized Agoda had ALSO charged me for the room. I contacted Thomas immediately about a refund, less the water we took from the minibar, and was never responded to. I tried to dispute the charge on my cc and he fought it and so has now been paid twice for my stay. Agoda will also not respond to me. The cleanliness and breakfast was certainly not worth what I paid. Steer clear.

衛生：馬代這個價位的酒店最要緊的就是比拼乾淨，這家做的就太好了，房間本身是比較小的，但很乾凈，衛生間特別打掃乾淨，而且沒有任何異味。就這一點已經值回票價。 服務：過度酒店，第二個要緊的是transfer的便捷。入住時候告知下一個目的地，酒店會主動幫忙聯繫好接送。而且酒店本身就在artificial main stage，距離近的很。轉水飛快艇都需要從這裏回機場島，10分鐘就到了。主動提行李什麼的，算是馬代的標配了。 超預期的是，早餐地方很小，但卻有無敵的風景。住在8層，早餐在9層，都是直視海景。樓下的鴿子成羣絕對是難忘的回憶。值得再次途徑的酒店。

llegue y sabia que me exponía a lo que decían los comentarios pero no pensaba que sería tan malo , cuando llegó la mujer en recepción intenta engañarme quería por 12 dólares cobrarme 290 Rufiyas le dije que no , y al final le di dolares . pues en recepción olía una peste a Morillo a comida olía muy mal daba asco , cuando subes las escaleras son estrechas muy empinadas es decir cuidado al bajar sobre todo . llegamos a la habitación el chico había vaciado un bote de spray tipo ambientador que no podías respirar , cuando fui al baño una peste , un olor más desagradable a alcantarilla pues digo voy abrir la ventana , y tuve que cerrarla por que era vomitivo os dejo unas fotos aquí , el patio si se puede llamar patio era un vertedero de basura , había de todo y el problema es el olor . que no puedes con el es una cosa que pagar casi 60 euros por la habitación no se puede permitir , el baño me lo dieron lleno de agua dejo fotografías todo lleno de agua , el espejo y sucio en mal estado , donde te lavas la Manos oxidado y quitado de su sitio , era todo repugnante , con el agobio me fui a sentar era mejor sent**** en el suelo los colchones eran piedra literal nunca lo había visto he visto colchones en los contenedores mejores que esos no eran normales , el armario viejo ,malo y feo el espejo de la habitación en mal estado . nos dejaron 2 colchones allí así como si de trastero se tratase . el Cabezero estaba roto y el olor que tenia era indescriptible os dejo foto de todo para que opinéis vosotros mismos. estaba sucio pero sucio sucio sucio no era normal es que yo eso estoy acostumbrado a verlo en los contenedores no en un “hotel” es que es una locura lo que vivimos . bueno pues me encuentro en esta situación con mi pareja , nos mentían en todo decía que había tetera no estaba decía que tenia vistas? sii al patio de basura . era una habitación con humedad que Booking.com no debería permitir que trabajaran con ellos. el trato de la recepcionista me quiso engañar , la limpieza ,el mal estado de la habitación todo viejo, roto ,oxidado ,el mal olor de toda la habitación , las vistas al patio interior al abrir la ventana era un vertedero , el baño daba grima usarlo , el olor del baño era alcantarilla y humedad , el colchón de la cama no era un colchón es tipo tabla dura nunca lo había visto , que te mienten y te dan una descripción que es todo mentira , el armario estaba en mal estado los espejos también ,el Cabezero sucio roto y con olor , éramos dos y nos dejan solo una toalla . el papel higiénico nos dejaron medio rollo , el trato de desprecio cuando intento irme educadamente y encima se quedan con 56 euros míos y tuve que pagar otra noche de hotel en otro lugar . no vayáis confiar en mi mensaje hay más opciones pagar 10 euros más no vayáis . imagínate como estaba la habitación imagínate como será el desayuno . no puede ser y encima no me dijo perdón podemos arreglarlo de alguna manera te doy algo de dinero de tus 56 euros , o te cambio de habitación pero n

From the second we got there - we were treated amazingly! From the check in process to the room to everything in between - the start of our honeymoon couldn’t be more spectacular. First the service - very attentive and helpful, and they had all these special treats for us because it was our honeymoon. Second the room - feels like a NY high rise but every inch was meticulously planned with a balcony and ocean view - it was the best. The front staff are very helpful, we got to explore the capital a bit before leaving which was a great experience - such a rich culture! The food was amazing as well - the dinner was so tasty, and the buffet breakfast included was phenomenal. We can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10!!

I like to book direct with lodging. I contacted Point Inn and they were very responsive. They arranged a pick up and drop off at the airport for much less than the taxi charges. Had a decent breakfast included, each morning and location is great, right across from the beach. There are many good restaurants in walking distance. I bought watermelon and pineapple juice at a near by market. There is a refrigerator and water boiler in the room. Point inn is reasonably priced for Maldives and a great option for one or multi night stays

We stayed here for the second time before catching our flight home after a dive trip. It is fine for one night, the room was clean and the air con worked great. This island is man made, so space is at a premium. We booked a twin in the hope that we might have a bit more bed space, but the floor space was not really big enough to have both our dive bags open at the same time. However the staff were absolutely delightful. The rooftop restaurant was really nice and the food and service was great. We had to leave at 5.15 and there was a lovely breakfast spread out with yogurt and juices and fruit beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

It's our night stay as we arrive late evening and our trip to resort will be the next day. Room was ok to say and not far away from the airport. We took a taxi says that organized by the hotel and we were asking at taxi stand in the airport about the prices. Normal shows 70 Maldives money (10 USD). We had a sharing taxi with others, at the hotel the staff asking for 75 USD which for the return as well. We had a discussion why soo expensive and answer was that we came with the big van where we didn't ordered. And he offered us 50 USD. We were tired and no time for discussion and we paid. Next day our other hotel agent told us that they charge us too much and it's cost never more then 10 USD a trip. This was really a trap from the hotel it's self. Never again

We stayed here for one night before flying out. It was a very good stay. No frills, just what was needed for a transit stay. The room was clean, amenities were good, the included breakfast was great and the fact that they included one-way airport transport was a bonus. They were also flexible with check-in (possibly a factor being we travelled during non peak months). The one downside, if it matters, is that the property is not beach-facing. Though it's a 2 minute walk away. The locality itself is fabulous. The beach is great, a public park (with skate ramp!) is nearby, and there are several options for restaurants. It's a good budget pick for a hotel for a one-night (or more) stay. I'd certainly stay in Hulhumale again rather than the more crowded Male!
