Easy to get to from the airport, we just hopped on the #6 city bus, and there is a bus stop right in front of the property. City busses are clean,and cheap, I think it was about 5€ or so, and takes about 35 mins. Check in was really smooth. The place is spotless, customer service is very good, they upgraded us to a small bungalow right next to the beach. We were taken by golf cart which was nice. Accommodation was clean, and new, nice bed, decent bathroom, it's a little small, but has a shower, no tub. Really nice deck area to have coffee and listen to the ocean. The room has a small fridge, a safe, decent closet space, a small couch, queen sized bed, large TV, and great wifi. Actually wifi was available everywhere on site. We opted for the breakfast package, which was actually very nice. Buffet style, but literally dozens of options. Fresh fruits, breads, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, many many hot dishes, you will not go hungry. We also had one formal sit down fancy dinner which was also very nice. We didn't really use any of the on-site facilities, but we did hang out at the pool for a few hours one day. Even though it seems like there was a lot of people there were still a lot of loungers available. Pool looked really nice, only a few people used it. Beach area also has loungers and umbrella for free use. Really nice sandy and shallow beach, great for kids, but it does get windy, so keep that in mind. Impressive amount of smokers manage to keep a steady supply of cigarette butts in the sand at all beaches we visited. Kind of gross, but this seems like a European thing? Can't say we have seen this in other places. I would easily reco.mend this place due to the fact that it was really clean, food was nice, easy to get to, lots of off site dining, gift shopping, bakeries, grocery stores, and car rental places within a 10 minute walk.

The hotel is about 15min walk from the airport. Easy to find. The staff were very helpful and nice. The room was clean and organized. The shower wasn't so nice, it's a bath with no curtain so the floor gets very wet when showering.

I had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

The hotel is in a lovely hilltop location with stunning views of the bay below. You will need a car to get there and to move around as the location means that it is quite a climb to the bay below. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The junior suite we had was well appointed and the terrace and private sun deck area welcomed. The suite itself was well equipped with a small kitchenette and separate bedroom. The positioning of the bed was peculiar and not having a headboard strange, as was it being against one wall. Not being a big bed, it was tight for two people especially the one nearest the wall. The toilet seat was also broken, which I am surprised the cleaning people did not notice, as it looked as if it has been this way for a while. We had one dinner in the restaurant. We were the only ones and the food mediocre at best. Breakfast on the other hand was very nice with lots of choice.

My friend and I wanted alittle get away and this was perfect, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had drinks and small buffet and drinks for us/anyone who arrives late after a long flight. We got shown to our room which we weren’t happy with because it was a terrace room and weren’t comfortable with people looking in walking past however because it was nearly 2am we just wanted to sleep. Next morning we went to reception and explained and they very kindly moved us to a different room which we were SO HAPPY with. They moved everything across for us and had a bottle of wine and snacks put in the room too 🥰 the all inclusive was lovely as it was my first one I’ve ever done. If you are looking for chill nice vibes this is the place if you just want to relax. The main bar was abit slow with drinks in the evening but understandable as it was busy but ended up in the other bar down the bottom, it’s outside and a lot quieter which means we got serviced quicker. You got fresh pool towels whenever you wanted. I would recommend to anyone if you looking for a nice peaceful holiday 🤍

We had booked The Olive Green Hotel three years ago, but Covid intervened. However we were delighted to visit in May. It was all that we had hoped for. Centrally situated in Heraklion, the hotel was ideal for our five day stay. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. (Our ferry had arrived at 6 a.m. but we were invited to have breakfast after checking in). We also had dinner in the bar on two occasions and that was both good and well priced. We would certainly return if we visit Heraklion again.
