Ulasan Manado Tateli Resort and Convention

It was a well spent vacation for my family. we stayed at a junior suite room with an ocean front balcony. the room has been renovated with new design and it also comes with a separate aisle for the area leading to the closet and bathroom. the only down side of this room was the location. it was quite a long walk from the main lobby, and when it rains, the corridor along the way might be slippery. I have always dreamt about staying at this hotel ever since it was still managed by the previous management. what I really like the most is the design and atmosphere of the resort which were similar to many beach front resorts you can find in Bali. large swimming pool, jogging track along the beach, large open area gardens, water sports facilities (sadly they were not operating while we were there), and it has one thing that no other famous beaches in Bali has: the breathtaking view of a volcanic island of Manado Tua. covid19 pandemic has surely severely affected the tourism industry everywhere around the world including Manado, and particularly this hotel. you can notice some wear and tear signs on some furniture, especially the rooms/area that have not been renovated. but i trust the hotel management would pay more attention to this once occupancy rate bounces back to pre-pandemic era or even higher. we tried their buffet breakfast, we must admit, it was not the best buffet we've ever tried, but wasn't so bad either. we found the quality of food served during our dinner at the restaurant were so much better than the buffet during breakfast. location wise, yes it's far from the down town Manado. but ordering a taxi was not an issue at all. usually a bluebird taxi would be on standby at the parking lot. alternatively, online hailing taxi app like gocar and grab would also do the job for you. all in all, it was a pleasant stay for our family of four. we really wish that we can stay at this hotel again and try their water sports.
