Where do I start!? Well 80% of the time there’s no staff on reception (you have to check yourself in using a touch screen). Rang the bell for help and stood there for 10-15 minutes and no one came, so just gave up. Premier Inn’s seam to have a new policy that you need to let reception know the night before if you want your room to be cleaned the following day. A bit difficult when there’s no staff on reception (and don’t answer the bell). Car Parking is supplied by NCP. Unlike other Premier Inn’s that I’ve used with this car park supplier, you don’t get any customer discount. You just pay the same as anyone else. Yes you can get discount using the NCP app, but so can everyone else. And it’s not that much of a discount. They’ve got signs for Premier Inn customers to use inside the car park. But doesn’t mean anything. I wouldn’t recommend using this hotel again. Unless you like to be ignored and arrive by coach or train into Manchester. The front door area just outside on the street was messy and had litter, cigarette buts all over the floor. Not very welcoming. At least inside the hotel was clean and tidy. Only positive is that it’s a good location, less than a 10minute walk into the heart of the city centre. Used to stay at the Deansgate Premier Inn where was great. But they knocked it down to make way for Student accommodation.
