Metro Plaza Hotel by Rak Rooms, Mangaluru

I like to stay in hotel. Staff are good behaved.

I had a wonderful stay at Metro Plaza Hotel in Mangalore. The hotel is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the central railway station, making it ideal for travelers. The breakfast offered is generous and a great opportunity to explore Indian cuisine. The staff is exceptionally professional, friendly, and always greets guests with a smile. A special thank you to Ananya and Renuka for their assistance in booking my bus to Kochi and for their helpful recommendations on local tourist attractions in Mangalore. I will definitely return to this hotel, which beautifully reflects the history of Mangalore.

Lovely Functional Hotel with all basic necessities. Room is clean and neat. Front desk and other staffs are well behaved and helpful. Toiletries are well maintained in the room. Other highlight of the property is that they are located right next to Mangalore Central Railway Station and is in walkable distance. Family will be safer. Lot of restaurants around this hotel. Try out Ajji ILL restaurant which is just a KM away from this property. You get amazing Fish Thali and Veg Biriyani is very good. One thing which I feel could have been better is the breakfast spread and quality. Hope this will be addressed by their manager Vijay Kumar.

The hotel is near the Mangalore central railway station, and this was an ideal position for us as a one night stop over before boarding the next train. In the room there was complimentary tea/coffee making facility, towels and toiletries. We had to request toilet paper, this wasn't an issue as it was then brought to our room. Breakfast was good with a variety of English and Indian choices and good coffee. The were only a few negatives. The smell in the room. Housekeeping came and sprayed with air freshener but the smell was back later. The noisy air conditioner fan. There was no view from the windows, it being frosted glass with a blind covering making the room feel a little claustrophobic. The ongoing construction work outside the window and huge booms of noise during the night (obviously this isn't the hotel's fault)

Nice neat and clean basic hotel. Ideal for transit stay. With the railway station virtually next door makes it ideal to just walk

The rooms are small, and you have to keep requesting for the wifi password, and TV channels are not recharged for which we have to keep requesting multiple times. and coming to the breakfast ... the number of cooks seen to be limited, we have to keep Waiting for items to get filled/ refilled... due to this shortage of cooks, and food quantity / variety, people literally get into an unpleasant conversations/ quarrels with others. The plates and bowls are also limited and we have to keep waiting to get them. all wet plates and cups will be placed sure to the rush which looks unhygienic The price charged vs the comfort n facilities doesn't match. the only good thing is it's location - it's next to central railway station and centre of the city to find alternate food options to fill ourselves

Location is very close to Central railway station. Breakfast is good and complimentary! The room is also worth the money paid.

Whole night no power in the room and adjusted in a small room. Even in next day i was identified that power was restored. Staff told still people are working on the issue.

The image and in reality is different. No proper road to the hotel and very limited parking space. Room was average. The only thing we liked was morning breakfast
