A ground old house with wrap around decks, all day sunshine and stunning sea views. We stayed in the Clipper room and there is another next door. Pretty central, a two minute walk to the small village and golf club and a few minutes by car to the various beaches ( Lang’s was our favourite) Our host pitched up on the first day with a full English breakfast, very rare nowadays and a real treat. Jeanette is a fountain of knowledge so listen to her advice as she points out the fabulous places to visit. Overall an excellent and peaceful couple of days - thank you. Enjoy......

From check in to check out our stay was perfect. The service we received from Lisa at reception made our family feel comfortable and welcome throughout our stay. She had a good genuine aura and presence about her that just made us feel at home. This is our 6th stay at Camp Waipu Cove and we'll be back thanks to her. Thankyou Lisa, your help was much appreciated. And to Lucy who we only met briefly checking out, but she was pleasant to interact with, and to the housekeeping crew who we saw on our travels in the park too. First time staying in a deluxe one bedroom cabin and it is well worth the money. Having our own bathroom to use on the rainy wet days was just so convenient (my only suggestion there would be to have some sort of curtain on the bathroom window for privacy, we were a bit worried about the view in from the outside). Our cabin was warm, clean and tidy when we arrived. So good to have a stove top to cook on (and all the utensils needed aswell) and the full sized fridge too. Literally steps from our cabin to the beach. It would be good to have an outside tap to rinse sandy feet before entering cabin, but not a big problem since they provide brooms and a dustpan in the cabin. It was wet and rainy most of our stay but we still made the most of the facilities they offer. My daughter had fun at the playground outside our front door, the bouncy pillow, the tennis court/basketball court and at the day room playing outdoor chess. There is also a cool ”bike repair” station at the day room, how convenient and thoughtful is that! The communal bbq was clean and easy to use, we just weren't too sure we cleaned it enough after we used it, may be good to have some paper towels handy for clean up. Overall our stay once again was great!
